So many of you liked the previous chapter. I'm overwhelmed with all the lovely comments. So i decided to write down another update for you guys.....

Mehta masion

The mansion was decorated beautifully. Every guest was in awe of the decorations. Ashish was quite busy as it was his daughter's wedding.

Ashish was very happy but deep down he knew something was not right. He was feeling as if something wrong is going to occur.

Keeping all his worries aside, he welcomed all the guests.

Then, the Khannas entered the Mehta mansion. Ashish was very happy on their arrival. Khanna's have always been a family for him and Avni.

He moved forward to greet them. He folded his hands and bowed down to touch Bebe's feet. Bebe blessed him.

Ashish:  Aap sab itni der se kyu aaye? Aapki bhi beti ki shadi hai.
(Why are you so late? )

Prakash: Of course, she is our daughter but with two ladies getting ready for a function, its impossible to be on time.
(Prakash and Ashish laugh)

Bebe and Shweta glare them.

Bebe: Where is Avni?

Ashish: She's in her room. You can meet her there.

Shweta: Bhai sahab, aap usse mile?
(Have you met her?)

Ashish: No. Mujhe pata hai usse dulhan ke jode mein dekh kar main emotional ho jaunga.(I know if I'll see her dressed up as a bride I'll get emotional).

Everyone nodded understanding his situation.

Ashish: Where is Neil?

Shweta got tensed. But she didn't let it show on her face.

Bebe: You know na beta, this boy can only think about work. He had gone to office for some urgent meeting.

Shweta: But he said he'll reach.

Ashish: OK. I'm really sorry I haven't even asked you for drinks and snacks. Please come.

He gestured them to come inside. They had their snacks and drinks. They went to Avni's room to meet her. Ashish refused at first but Shweta made him understand that she needs him.

Avni's room

As they entered the room, they saw the most beautiful sight in front of them. Avni was looking breathtakingly beautiful in a maroon and golden lehenga.

As soon as she saw them she ran towards them to greet them. Ashish lovingly caressed her cheeks.

Ashish: My princess is looking so beautiful.
(He whispered).
She smiles in return.

She turns towards Shweta and hugged her tightly. Shweta also reciprocated the hug with equal intensity.

Shweta: Meri beti itni badi ho gyi...
(My daughter is so grown up).

Avni: Shweta maa, aap itni der se kyun aaye?(Why are you so late?).
She asked whining like a baby.

Shweta: Dulhan ki maa hoon. Taiyaar hone mein time to lagega na.
(I'm bride's mom so naturally I'll take time to get ready)
Everyone laughed .

Prakash: You like a real princess Avni.

Avni: Thankyou uncle.

Bebe: Kinni sonni lag rahi hai tu putter.
(She said caressing her cheeks; how beautiful you are looking my child).

Avni was about to say something but Ashish's phone rang.

He picked it up and his smile faded away. He looked tensed all of a sudden.

Avni: What happened papa?

Ashish:, Nothing. Pandit Ji has asked for something at the last moment.

Avni: oh..OK. (Relieved).

Everyone left her room.

Bebe: Now tell us. What happened? You can lie to Avni but not your mother.

Ashish gets tensed and worried.

Ashish: Bebe vo....
and starts crying.
