" Only people who are capable of loving strongly can also suffer great sorrow, but this same necessity of loving serves to counteract their grief and heals them."

Leo Tolstoy

(MARE TRANQUILITATIS, LUNA)

Sitting alone on the rocky greyish white lunar surface, the Kree Eternal gloomily looked at the starry dark void and recalled those days when he and Amélie had been together in Paris before seeing Carol and Amnon. He had good and bad experiences and memories with her. Recalling them, he bitterly wept and sulked for his beloved one which he couldn't spare her life. Aside from Amélie, he also remembered his younger sister Mira who perished from their search mission in Bulgaria. He was grieving for their losses and heavily sighing.

This time, he had mixed emotions aside from grief. Methu-Selah was worried for Carol, Amnon, and everyone else. That prophetic nightmare was still fresh from his mind. He wailed for the possible deaths of his loved ones on the streets. The ancient blue Kree had warned his son, but Amnon refused to believe and argued with him. He sadly bowed his head and placed it on his knees, feeling sorry and anxious for the younger pink Kree. Then, he carefully rubbed his eyes to remove the tears on his face.

Just then, an elderly half-Kree woman walked over and stood in front of him, looked concerned at her blue skinned boyfriend, and slightly smiled, " So, this is where I can find you, I take it? "

" Right, " Methu-Selah smiled back and slightly nodded, hiding his mixed emotions.

Carol sat down beside him and sincerely replied, " I know what you're feeling right now. You lost Amélie. You're very worried about me and Amnon getting attacked by that brute from your nightmares. Then, you got disappointed in telling him the truth about you being his biological father as both SCP-682 hybrid and his new body. Then, you and our kid had an argument. I'm really sorry that you have been so bothered so much. "

" Carol, my prediction will come true if I don't act to save Amnon from that monster. I really have to stop him. "

" I know, " she nodded and held her boyfriend's left hand. " We still have someone to back you up if that happens. You know, I feel the same way too for Amnon and the loss of your other girlfriend. "

Methu-Selah looked intently at Carol and waited for her to continue her response. The elderly half-Kree lady sighed and gazed at the tiny pint-points on the wide dark blanket of space which were several light-years away from Earth.

" You know what? Amélie was one of the nicest people I met, " she continued. " She spoke of you who took over that Kree-Faunus body. Amélie was trying to understand you, even though she found you very hard to believe. You helped then she did the same thing to you. I just felt sorry that I became so jealous and upset at her. "

" Carol, I understood that, " he broke his silence and wept. " Her life on this planet is limited and harsh to continue, but I failed to spare her. I missed her so terribly. I'd just wanted your world to be free from any onslaughts of my kind and their allies. All of you have suffered for a long time. It's too much for me to handle."

The elderly half-Kree woman threw her arms on her boyfriend to comfort him. Methu-Selah's tears dropped on his face as he hugged her back. His aura was filled with unrelenting sadness. Carol understood the feeling of loss when some flashbacks came into her mind: the disputes against the Foundation, the death of Colonel James Rhodes, her separation with her second boyfriend SHIELD Agent Timothy Hughes and her daughter Eumeralla, her tremendous failure in defending Republic of Remnant, and her second separation to her son Amnon in Paris several months ago. She sadly sighed, composed her thoughts, and gently rubbed the grieving Kree Eternal's back.

" I know how we end up being entangled in this long term dire situation, " she calmly broke her silence. " It already happened. I wish we could do something before it ends. "

(ROUEN, FRANCE: 9:00 PM)

In the Prussian Blue evening sky, the stars peacefully watched the planet as the full moon climbed and used the sun's white radiance. Ever since Amnon was a Kree-SCP 682 hybrid, stargazing has been his favorite evening pastime for several decades. He found temporary peace and satisfaction to see the heavenly objects in the skies, relieving himself from the hardships in the past. This time, he was sitting on the grassy grounds of the mansion and leaning his back on the tree. Amnon noticed that the leaves on the branches were gone as the cold winter season could be approaching anytime soon. Then, he felt a colder breeze and embraced himself, forgetting to wear a jacket.

Staring at the moon, he wondered where his parents had gone and noticed that they were not present in their dinner time earlier. Amnon heavily sighed and felt sorry for his father when they argued. He wanted to apologize, but he never spoke to him afterwards. The young pink Kree realized that he had become so stubborn and argumentative that he wanted his solo mission, however the tragic loss of Amélie Glenat had triggered him to initiate.

Placing his head on his knees, Amnon became remorseful of what he had said and anxious at the same time. He heard of the Kree Eternal's prediction that he would die in that street encounter. The pink Kree grimaced and gained mixed emotions. Suddenly, he heard a loud flapping of wings and noticed a dark feather fell off onto the ground. Skóuro remained hovering when Amnon caught his attention to her.

" You're sleepless again? " she asked and descended, sitting in front of him.

" Yeah, I guess so, " Amnon nodded, slightly smiled, and sighed. " There are a lot of things that come into my mind lately. I have asked questions to anyone, but I'm not so sure if they answered it well. "

" Care to explain those? "

" Okay, when did it start? " he replied and scratched his chin. " Oh, yeah, my self-discovery as part-Kree before I got abducted in Paris. Dr. Vandark and his trusted companion told me that having blue blood makes me that way. "

" So, they told you who you really are aside from being a clone of SCP-682? "

" Yes. Honestly, I felt deprived of finding out who I am. I really don't know why, " Amnon seriously spoke and continued. " Then, I ended up in the slave den, got fainted, and met the Kree Supreme Intelligence from a dream. "

" Kree Supreme Intelligence? " Skóuro curiously raised her voice and asked, finding the name unfamiliar to her senses. " Who is he? "

" The main leader of the Kree Empire consisted of the ancient people's minds. Every Kree calls him Lord Supremor when they encounter him. "

" Did he tell you something? "

" Lord Supremor briefly explained about this invasion and mentioned to me about my real father. I asked him, but he just brushed off my question, telling me to find out for myself. "

" Pretty vague, isn't it? "

" Yeah. "

" From that encounter, what did he tell you? "

" He mentioned to me about my father, " he replied. " I just wanted to ask further, but I returned to my consciousness. After I got manipulated, I had a chance to escape to Ethiopia when I met a father and daughter. They asked me to keep looking for him. When I reached Paris, I found my new body as someone told me I look perfectly uncanny to my father. Still, I don't know who and where he really is. "

Skouro continued listening further as Amnon continued. She thought of asking him, but he had let him speak.

" Then, I joined the group therapy session along Dr. Schnee and Mr. Rogers that it was very helpful to continue my mental health recovery. Mr. Rogers spoke of my father when I had a chance to talk to him. "

" Did he know of it? "

" I think so, " Amnon looked at the stars and replied. " But I really want answers about my father's true identity and whereabouts. Finally, I ended up in Bulgaria as I met the other accuser and her benefactor who happened to be my aunt. "

" You have an auntie? " Skóuro asked and curiously raised her voice, tilting her head to her surprise. " I didn't know that. "

" Mira-Selah or Mother Miranda. She lived on planet Earth for a long time who happened to be an ally of the previous tyrant from Hala. At first, she envied her older brother's Light Soul and wanted to attain it. When her brother had left her here on Earth for centuries, her daughter died of a disease and got mad at him for not helping her. Now, Aunt Mira wanted me to be her sacrificial object on behalf of my father. I just really didn't understand why. When I told my mother and my friend Dr. Vandark, they didn't answer me. Early this morning, I was about to ask old Methu-Selah, but we both didn't talk about it. I just really don't understand why some people can't tell me who and where he is. "

Skóuro listened and tried to comprehend and remember what Amnon had explained. She had trouble remembering everything after that long sleep for fifty years. She could partially remember about her conversation with Elder Carol Danvers several months ago and that discovery of Amnon's origins from that Foundation facility. She sincerely looked at the pink Kree and composed her thoughts.

" Amnon, Carol and I had a conversation about you and your Kree genes when you were enslaved, but I may or may not remember everything, " she replied. " I have been trying to make sense of things here. I hope you can understand."

" Why? " Amnon raised his voice and indignantly asked. " Is it because you guys keep secrets from me?! "

" No, it's just that I'm struggling to remember everything. Amnon, I only remember that I woke up from a chamber. I didn't know it took fifty years. Honestly, I was freaked out when you called my name back in New York," the Dark Angel calmly reasoned and raised her right hand in interjection. " Look, I'm trying to learn and find out what I have missed. There's a lot to catch-up on. I just recently found out everything from your mother. I'm so sorry. "

Amnon recalled the day when Skóuro and him had first met. Then, she had helped him leave the facility after the Earthquake. Upon their second encounter in New York City, he tried to reason out and make the Dark Angel remember about the past. Skóuro remained stern and heartless without any memory. The pink Kree had watery eyes, angrily clenched his fists and stood up. He was weeping and flushing in intense anger.

" DAS'T!! " Amnon furiously spat. Skóuro widened her eyes in shock that she never expected him to swear in the Kree language.

" Amnon, I don't know that you can speak that way. You just need to calm down and listen. I know you're so upset and I am so sorry. I really want to help you. "

" You're sorry?! You, the Foundation people, have lied to me in years! You never told me the truth that I have been part-Kree ever since! You made an excuse to keep it from me! " he wailed in English and indignantly pointed his index finger at her. " You made me believe that I was as dangerous as 682! You have obviously known I was physically abused by the damn monster! Then, you guys kept chasing and killing me! I was brainwashed by Kasius to be like 682 and made me a killing machine! You let Buck and his troops kill me in Paris! Now, you're trying to help me?! Is that it?! "

" Amnon, I'm trying to understand and help you. "

" After all the terrible pain and hardship that you have done, you want to help me?! You completely ruined half of my life! " the pink Kree bitterly wept and continued. " I just wanted a normal life and family, but you deprived them of me!! Then, this damned invasion came and made my life even upside down! "

Skòuro remained silent and listened to Amnon's lashing out. She didn't know what to say to him and sighed.

" You gave me a new body and let me train as one of you, but it wasn't enough to satisfy and compensate for the anguish that I experienced! "

" Amnon, we just helped you reunite with your mother, " the Dark Angel calmly broke her silence. " Carol just cried over me to see and meet you again. Then, you met Ella, your older half-sister from Australia. Also, you came to see your old friends once again. You have a family and friends that care for you ever since. "

" Family?! Then, where on Hala is my father?! Tell me, Skóuro! Who is he?! " Amnon heatedly demanded, weeping.

" Amnon, he's no longer on the Kree homeplanet. He's here, but..." she hesitantly paused.

" FOR PAMA'S SAKES, SKÓURO! STOP MAKING LAME EXCUSES, I HAD ENOUGH! I'M GONNA FIND HIM MYSELF BEFORE I DIE! "

" Amnon, if you go on your own, the enemies will find and kill you, " Skóuro warned and tightly held his hand. " Old Methu-Selah and your mother just told you earlier. Please don't leave! "

" WHY WOULD YOU EVEN CARE?! THE MTF PEOPLE REALLY WANT ME DEAD ALONG WITH THOSE INVADERS! " he instantly parted his hands from her. '' IF I FIND OUT HE'S DEAD, THEN I WILL SURELY JOIN HIM! "

" But Amnon...you don't understand..."

The young Kree instantly walked away, bitterly weeping. Skóuro sadly sighed and felt sorry for him, watching him return to the mansion and sensing his intense frustration.

" Amnon, I'm so sorry. I'm helping you out, but there are so many things that I have to discover and learn from you, " she thought and bowed her head. " I hope you will find your father and know the truth. Once this prolonged invasion is done, you can live in peace with your family. Have a good night, then. "

(THE NEXT DAY)

The Dark Angel woke up early in the morning when she heard some commotion of residents along with the Rebel Forces and MTF Troopers stationed and on duty. She left the bed and stepped out of the room, walking to the hallway. Remembering last night with Amnon, she felt remorseful and became more concerned with him than before. Her bedroom was next to his as she headed there. Gently knocking on the door, she waited for any response and took a deep breath, thinking of apologizing to him. She knocked for the second time, but his room was still silent.

" Amnon, are you there? " she called and kept knocking. " Hello? Amnon? "

His room was dead silent. Skóuro knocked for the fourth time, hoping he would wake up and respond. She sighed and slowly twisted the knob, opening the door. To her discovery and entrance, she was surprised that the room was vacant. His bed was untouched and unfurled. Looking around, she noticed that there was no presence of his bullets, pistols, sniper rifle, and his other belongings for frontline duty. Skóuro was alarmed that a Kree member of the Rebel Forces and MTF had gone AWOL.

" Amnon is gonna have his own mission against the Kree and the Lizards without any permission from Commander Roosevelt or anyone else! He's going suicidal for such skirmish encounter!! " she anxiously thought and restlessly moved her head to and fro. " What am I going to say to them?! Carol and Old Methu-Selah will be so worried for him! I need to tell them regardless! Perhaps, they will stop him!! "

Skouro immediately rushed out of Amnon's room and noticed the Kree couple talking in the hallway who just arrived from the moon last night. They noticed and sensed her panicking as she looked at them. The Kree Eternal's face grew serious as he knew something was wrong.

" Skóuro, are you alright? " Carol asked with concern.

" Old Methu, Carol, I'm so sorry, " she humbly bowed to the two. " Amnon was totally out of his room. "

" What?! " the elderly half Kree exclaimed. " What's going on?! Where is he?! "

" Last night, we had a serious talk and it turned out to be an argument, " Skóuro answered. " I reasoned out, but he was too angry. I don't even know what to do. He's gone! "

Carol widened her eyes in shock, looked at the Kree Eternal with concern and asked, " Methie, did you know this had happened? "

" Yes, " he seriously replied and exasperatedly sighed. " He's going out on his own and searching for me. It's my fault for not letting him know I am his real father. "

" I apologized to him several times and tried to tell him last night, but I couldn't answer him properly, " Skóuro anxiously said. " He was very upset. Please Old Methu, you need to do something before he gets south. I know you can understand him. "

" Methie, our son will die as you have predicted! " Carol raised her voice. " We don't want to let it happen! Please we need to do something! "

" I warned him yesterday, but he refused to listen to us, " the Kree Eternal sternly responded and stressed. " Now, we have to stop him before something dire happens, because he's my son! "

" I'm coming with you both, " Skóuro nodded and sincerely spoke. " I don't want to let him die on the streets. He has a lot to learn and discover just like me. "
