So me and my opponent (a.k.a kaiishida played two matches of me using the Spike Brothers GB8 Rush Deck and him using the Nova Grappler GB8 Rush Deck, and while piloting the deck was fun, I have a few complaints of how the matches went down, or more specifically, why this match-up is decided by what turn you go.

In the first match, I went first, and I got to G Guard three times (once with Aery, twice with Linus and Guardian Blasted twice to get me to GB5, surprisingly killing two Trainers and draw triggers managed to get me three heals before first stride XD) and survived the first stride of Victor, and then I went into Supernova for my stride turn An down got myself at GB7.

However, my opp got to GB7 using G Guarding and went into Driger by Stride 2, and obliterated me, especially since I burnt down some of my hand for the combo pieces of Supernova, and lost.

In the second match, I went second so I got to stride into Supernova, and my opponent got into GB5 because of it, but on his Victor turn I got into GB7, with me barely hanging with five damage and me hanging on because of a draw trigger I pulled which got me my third heal thank God, so by second stride I got into Hellhard and beat down my opponent with lots of power + Mayhem Tiger retiring and just comboing off. I left the fight with five damage, three cards in hand, a large soul, my opponent at six damage and me winning.

The complaint here is that whoever went second got to GB8 the quickest, and won because of it. If the game is decided because of it, then it doesn't really feel like a game...

Granted, we were both using GB8 Rush decks. But if Nova Grappler can get to GB8 that fast, (they don't have a way to get heal triggers as quick as Spikes) I'm started to get worried about these GB8 Rush decks...

They remind me of G1 stall-Rush decks, and I hate those decks. It's so annoying to play them, but Seebreeze fixed that.

So, what can fix this GB8 Problem?
