Yza woke up on the couch blinking his eyes. He rubbed his head and propped himself up as the Ayaza that was sleeping on his stomach was then pushed down to below his crotch.
"Man, what happened last night?" Yza groaned in annoyance. He looked at the scatter of cans of fizzy drinks and piles of cards. "Oh yeah..." He sighed as he remembed what happened last night.

"Ok, so with these new cards, what changes should we make?" Yza asked.
"How about we add this ride chain?" Ayaza suggested.
"Yeah, sure!!" Yza smiled.

"We stayed up till 5am last night to make my deck yet we still fail..." Yza groaned as he thought as Ayaza yawned softly. "Good morning." Yza said. Ayaza noticed where he was screamed.

"Why in the actual crap am I anywhere near your thing!!" Ayaza said as he dropped to the floor and pointing at Yza's crotch.
"Calm down, you fell asleep on me." Yza sighed.
"I swear if anyone finds out and makes a fanfic about us I'm gonna kill 'em!!" Ayaza exclaimed, red.
"Anyways... Its 12pm and I'm hungry. Subway?" Yza suggested.
"Subway." Ayaza smiled as Yza helped Ayaza get back up.

A long red haired boy with his hair in a messy mop style walked down the street with chopsticks in his mouth holding a pot of noodles. He grabbed the chopsticks and started eating.
"Ah, the wonders of food." He smiled. "Now where would Yza be..." He questioned. He had a black blazer over his white button up shirt, sandy coloured trousers and black polished shoes. He was Maxios, Yza's older brother.

Yza walked out eating a sub.
"Where you off to?" Ayaza asked as he followed.
"I don't know. Wherever the world takes me!!" Yza grinned.
"You sound like a hippy." Ayaza rolled his eyes and started to eat his sub.
"Heh." Yza laughed. His phone rang. Yza grabbed his phone and answered it.
"Hello?" He asked.
"Hey Yza, your brother is at Card Capital 2 and is looking for you!!" Rino exclaimed.
"Maxios... What does he want?" Yza replied coldly.
"I don't know. Bring your deck and come over I guess." Rino sighed.
"Ok then..." Yza said as he ended the call.
"Whats up?" Ayaza asked. Yza ignored Ayaza and ate while dashing off to Card Capital 2.
"Hey, wait up!" Ayaza exclaimed.

"Generation Stride!! Dark Dragon, Phantom Blaster "Diablo"!" Maxios smirked. "Activating Stride skill, retiring your vanguard's booster! Then I counterblast and G Persona blast! 10000 power and extra crit! (26000 > 36000/1★ > 2★) Thats not all, an extra skill aswell! Then I call Dark Saga Painter and he attacks your rear guard for 9! (9000)" Maxios declared.
"No guard!" The boy said as he retired it.
"Now I attack your other rear guard with Macha! (9000 > 16000)" Maxios smirked.
"No guard?" The boy questioned.
"Now, witness the black edges of despair ruin your troops! I retire Charon and Dark Saga, you must retire 2 to guard! And since you only have 1 rear guard," Maxios said as he pointed at Assualt Eradicator, Saikei. "You can't guard!"
"Tch, it doesn't matter I'm on 3 damage!!" The boy stuck his tongue out.
"Then watch me pull..." Maxios started as he took the top card. "A critical." He smirked as he flipped it over, revealing Grim Revenger. The boy gasped in shock.
"N-no way you cheat!!" The boy exclaimed.
"Just luck my very good sir." Maxios chuckled as he flipped over the two other cards which weren't important.
"Damage check... (Eradicator, Egghelm Dracokid, Machine Gun Eradicator, Kantou, Two-sword Eradictor, Koenshak) Y-you win..." The boy sighed. Maxios laughed as he rubbed his nose as he felt a tap on his back and turned around.
"Oh hi here!" He greeted, as the boy greeted him with a punch to the face.
"Quit the hello's Maxios, I know who you are!!" Yza cried with all his anger.
"Yza?" Maxios asked as he got up and wiped his face.
"Damn right its me you bastard!!" Yza exclaimed angrily towards Maxios.
"Whats up?" Maxios asked as Yza looked at him sternly.
"More like whats up with you?! Why did you go ahead and leave us when we needed you the most?! Why did you leave when I needed you the most!! All my friends were droved away from me because I had no one left to talk to!! Mum was always at work, Rukia left and so did you!! And ever since you left to go to that damned military, our mother had to work double shifts and occasionally skipped dinner because we were low on cash!!" Yza exclaimed angrily at him.
"Yza I can explain..." Maxios said.
"I don't want your pity explanation, I want to never see your face again!! SO DON'T TRY TO ACT LIKE MY BROTHER EVER AGAIN!!" Yza cried out. Maxios looked at the crying Yza as he put his head down in shame.
"Yza... I'm sorry for everything I've done." He said softly as he bent down to Yza's level and ruffled his hair. "I know I may have not been the best of bro's, but I can try to be one now..." Maxios said as he hugged Yza tightly as he could feel Yza's warm tears drip down his shirt. Yza pushed Maxios away from him.
"..." Yza wiped away the tears from his eyes.
"Fine, if you wont talk then let our cards do the talking." Maxios said in desperation as he held up his avatar card.
"Fine..." Yza replied, gritting his teeth and wiping his tears.

They got set up as Maxios coughed.
"What is it?" Yza asked in a hated tone.
"I heard you use the Stardust Knight now." Maxios commented.
"Yeah.." Yza said as he slowly drifted of concentrating on shuffling his deck and stopped. He had a good look at his brother, he had more longer hair then before and his clothes were more neater.
"Yo, yo, yo, hurry up bro." Maxios exclaimed impatiently.
"When did you ever start using yo? Stand up vanguard!!" Yza exclaimed, vanguard circle expanding white with tints of blue.
"Stand up vanguard! 1738!!" Maxios smirked as his vanguard circle expanded purple.
"Seriously? Starknight of First Dust!" Yza exclaimed.
"Fine, the truth is I only started using yo about a week ago, a week ago!! Fullbau "Diablo"!" Maxios smirked.

A jet black dog with light blue marking and shades appeared on the field across a knight in light blue armour with silver shining pieces inside and middle lengthed brown hair under his eagle head shaped helmet.

"Stop with the jokes and get serious!!" Yza exclaimed.
"Ok then, I will! Stand and draw, I ride Charon and pull back Diablo. You really wanna know? Pass!" Maxios smiled innocently.

"Stand and draw... Man, you annoy me a bit too much sometimes bro... Ride, Second Dust! First's skill allows me to add Third to hand. Then I call Starblade Shooter and with a boost, Second attacks!! (8000 > 16000)" Yza exclaimed.
"Heh, guard with Revenger, Undead Angel. (7000 > 17000)" Maxios said calmly.

A giant with elf ears in a blue cloak was attacked by an older looking version of First Dust, as a green haired angel in a black suit and had a red cape sweeped in and blocked the attack.

"Drive! (Shooting Star Dragon) No trigger." Yza grumbled.
"You want the truth?" Maxios said. Yza nodded his head. "Fine, a month ago."
"Thank you!!" Yza sighed. "End."

"Stand and draw. Do you still hate me?" He asked.
"Well, yeah..." Yza sighed, putting his hand on his head for how idiotic he was.
"My lil' bro can't stay mad at me forever!!" Maxios grinned cheekily.
"Ah, can with the words and get into the game!!" Yza exclaimed.
"Impatient as ever. I ride Dark Saga Painter and call Claudas to rear guard. With a boost from Claudas, Dark Saga attacks!! (9000 > 16000)" Maxios grinned.
"Your too happy... No guard." Yza said, as he mumbled. "Why is he even using that deck anyways?!"
"Meta Game." Maxios said as he heard the last remark. "Plus Diablo's are awesome in my opinion. Drive check!! (Blaster Dark "Diablo") No trigger."
"Y-you heard that?! Damage check... (Bashful Starstriker)" Yza said in confusion.
"I'm your big bro, so I gotta know your secrets and keep an eye on you. I end." Maxios said. "Plus when you get a girl, I'll have to leave so you and her can get better connected! Get a girl to ditch me then!!" Maxios said as he stuck out his tongue and slapped his ass playfully.
"Why you little!!" Yza exclaimed in anger.

"I stand and draw. I ride Third Dust and call Bashful to rear-guard. Then Bashful attacks for 10! (10000)" Yza exclaimed.
"Hmmm, Bashful really suits you, as you run in head first without any gameplan," Maxios started to laugh. "No guard. (Whirlwind of Darkness, Vortimer "Diablo")"
"Hey, why you always lieing?!" Yza exclaimed.
"Why you always lieing?~" Maxios sang.
"Oh shut up you!!" Yza said as he went red from embarrassment.
"You should see me after I have a couple of beers bro!" Maxios laughed.
"Ack, your annoying the crap outta me!! My vanguard attacks!! (10000 > 18000)" Yza exclaimed.
"No guard." Maxios continued to laugh.
"Grrr... Shut up will you?! Drive check!! (Stardust Angel) Critical. Effects to vanguard!! (18000 > 23000/1★ > 2★)" Yza smirked.
"I'm just gonna yap on to piss you off. Oops, I broke a swear to my bro! That'll be another one in the jar!" Maxios started to laugh.
"First, I'm not 5, second, what jar?" Yza asked.
"Oh, nothing~" Maxios continued to laugh.
"Wait... So everytime you swore I got a pence?" Yza asked.
"Mhm..." Maxios managed to contain his laughter.
"Wait... AM I RICH?!" Yza exclaimed.
"Hell no, you only have a pound." Maxios laughed further.
"Ak, just do your damned damage check!!" Yza exclaimed.
"Fiesty! (Pitch Black Sage, Charon, Arduous Battle Knight, Claudas)" Maxios said.
"I end..." Yza pouted in annoyance, a burning hate for his brother still resided inside him.

"Ah, my poor lil' bro still has a lot to learn." Maxios said playfully.
"What are you playing at?" Yza questioned, eyebrows raised intrest.
"The world isn't fun and games, thats what I realised these past few years." Maxios said in a serious tone. "Sometimes we gotta grow up and ditch the past."
"What are you implying?" Yza asked.
"If you watch closely, you'll get my message loud and clear. Because if you don't ditch it now, you'll never move on in life." Maxios said in a serious tone, netruel face on.
"Are you trying to pull a inspirational speech like they do in animes and manga where the main character learns a life lesson?" Yza asked as he sweatdropped.
"SURGE UP FROM THE DARK ABYSS ONCE MORE!!" Maxios boomed. Yza was taken back a bit and gritted his teeth. "I ride my avatar!! Blaster Dark "Diablo"!!" Maxios exclaimed, vanguard circle expanding pitch black.

A knight in black armour with gold accents and blue lines on the armour appeared, a red cape that was attached to his back and a large black sword. His helmet, chestpiece, crotch and sword had a red gem on it.
"I am Blaster Dark "Diablo"." He said sternly as he eyed his opponent carefully.

"I call Macha to rear guard. With a boost from Diablo, Macha attacks!! (9000 > 14000)" Maxios exclaimed.
"No guard! Damage check! (Starblade Shooter)" Yza said as the card flew into his damage zone.
"Then my vanguard attacks!! (11000 > 18000)" Maxios smirked.
"No guard!" Yza said bravely.
"Lets hope I don't pull a crit to activate you know what." Maxios smirked intensly. Yza's eyes opened and his pupils narrowed for a split second before returning to normal.
"How the hell does he know?!..." Yza thought.
"I know a lot about you bro. Your 14, have a crush on this girl named Rukia, your favourite food is noodles, you started to replay vanguard about a few weeks ago and your best friend is Ayaza Ganki, who is adopted." Maxios said.
"H-how do you know so much?! What are you, a stalker?!" Yza exclaimed in fear.
"Heh, I have my sources." Maxios laughed dryly.
"Oh, lemme guess, Ryu..." Yza rolled his eyes. "No guard. Plus I don't even like her!"
"Heh, really?" Maxios asked. "Twin drive! (Blaster Dark "Diablo", Pitch Black Sage, Charon) No trigger." He sighed.

Blaster Dark ran up and swang his blade, the swords clashed as they attacked each other, Dark getting a hit on Third.

"Gak. Damage check! (Cowardly Starknight, Eric) I rest my case with even bothering to speak to you..." Yza said.
"And I end." Maxios said. "Aww, thats nice."

"Stand and draw! Dragon of the cosmos, leader of the stardust, hear my call!! Ride my avatar, Shooting Star Dragon!" Yza exclaimed, vanguard circle expanding light blue.

Shooting Star Dragon shot down from the sky, creating a large crater on the ground.
"Your time of judgement is here." He snarled.

"I call Eric and Julia! Their skills give them 2000 power each. (6000 > 8000) (8000 > 10000) Then with a boost from Eric, Julia attacks!! (10000 > 18000)" Yza exclaimed.
"Tch, guard with Ligan. (11000 > 21000)" Maxios said as he gave a glare at his brother.
"N-now my vanguard..." Yza stammered as he saw his brothers glare, his once strong words became a slight mumble.
"No guard." Maxios said. Yza swallowed as sweat ran down his forehead.
"I can end it now if I pull a critical..." Yza thought as he gritted his teeth, lowering his head as his vision focused on the top card.
"I know you think that you have this. Your face says everything." Maxios said as he glared further. Yza eyes widened slightly. "Your scared, worried, surprised and have a bunch of hate in you. You've bottled these up right? You never got to speak your feelings because you only care about those around you but yourself." Maxios said as he glared further. "Its only near this time you started to care about what you wanted... When your life comes back together, it just crumbles back down in the end."
"What do you know about it?" Yza asked as he looked up, narrowing his eyes.
"Not much. But as your brother I always kept an eye on you. I know what your like... You only confess what you want around people you know, but around strangers your scared and shy." Maxios said.
"I'm not like that anymore!!" Yza cried out.
"Really? Are you?! Be honest with yourself!! ARE YOU LIKE THAT?!" Maxios snapped at his brother with a serious tone.
"I-I accept the fact that I'm now weak..." Yza sighed out as he relaxed slightly. "And because of my recklessness and anger, everyone I once knew and was my friends left me from fear of being hurt. But now... Now I want to change!" Yza exclaimed. "The people in my life that once dissapeared are coming back!! Yet... My life is also crumbling like you said."
"Tch. Your so predictable..." Maxios sighed as he looked at his brother. He choked up a small laugh and gave a normal face to him.
"Grr..." Yza gritted his teeth again, not sure on what his brothers true actions are.

"So, whats it gonna be?" Maxios asked in a serious face.

"What do you mean... By that?" Yza asked, confused on what he meant.

"What do you want?" Maxios asked.

"What do... I want?" Yza asked surprised.

The beginning of realisations are happening as Maxios asks his brother some truly hard questions!! What does Yza want?...
