"Then, with a boost from Devil Child, the vanguard attacks. (16000 > 26000)" Zeon smirked evilly.
"Its as strong as an unboosted G Unit..." Shika gritted his teeth. "No guard!!"

"Drive check!!" Zeon cackled as he flipped the top card.
"This guys gives me the creeps..." Yza mumbled as Zeon revealed a critical trigger.
"Cruel Hand, a crit! Power to my sweet Deal and critical to vanguard! (9000 > 14000)(1★ > 2★)" Zeon smirked. Shika flipped two cards silently as sweat ran down his brow. (Frog Raider, Moodmaker Nyanrook)
"GRAAAH!!" Shike groaned as he was hit with pain.
"Then Deal! (14000)" Zeon exclaimed.
"Guard with Undead Angel! (9000 > 19000)" Yza declared.
"Thanks..." Shika smiled.
"No problem." Yza grinned.
"Your turn." Zeon grunted, annoyed at Yza.

"Alright, stand and draw! Surge up from the dark abyss once more, I ride my avatar!! Blaster Dark "Diablo"! Next up I call Macha and Charon. With a boost from Charon, Macha attacks!! (9000 > 16000)" Yza exclaimed.
"You fell right into our trap..." Ayato thought. "I guard with Yellow Gem! (20000)"
"Then the vanguard! (11000 > 16000)" Yza exclaimed.
"No guard." Ayato replied.
"Twin Drive!! (Leaping Knight, Ligan Lumna, Deathspray Dragon) Critical trigger." Yza smirked. "All effects to vanguard! (16000 > 21000/1★ > 2★)"
Ayato smirked. "Damage check! (Dragonic Deathscythe, Crownholder Dragon) No triggers..." He was shocked with an immense pain, but it felt like a soft pinch to the boy. Yza froze as he realised what he had done.
"No... I... Gave him the perfect opportunity..." Yza quivered. "The front row also includes Shika... We're actually done for... All because of me..."
"Stop zoning out you idiot, and pass your turn!" Ayato demanded. Yza nodded.
"You can do whatever..."
Shika looked at Yza and said, "He's only at two cards in the drop zone. Don't worry."

"Stand and draw... With poisonous thunder and satanic destruction, meet your worst nightmare! The one, the only, Dragonic Kaiser Crimson!" Ayato declared, vanguard circle expanding crimson.

On Cray, Dragonic Kaiser Crimson appeared, thunder striking around him as underneath him was a blinding red light, and the lightning struck around him, and turned him into Zorras.

"Stride, Zorras!" Ayato smirked.
"Your going in I see." Zeon said.
"Then, I call Red River, Chatura and Crownholder. With a boost from Saishin, Chatura attacks! (11000 > 16000)" Ayato declared.
"I need to stop the rear-guards and let the vanguard attack go through..." Yza thought. "I guard with Ligan Lumna! (11000 > 21000)"
"Then the vanguard attacks!! (26000 > 33000)" Ayato exclaimed.
"No gu-" Yza was about to say before Shika chimed in,
"Generation Guard!! Excellent Cheer Leader, Aery! Since I have three or less rear-guards, add 5000 shield! (11000 > 31000)"
"Shika..." Yza said.
"Making use of the rules, are we?" Zeon cackled.
"In that case, I'll also Generation Guard!! Dark Knight, Ludvik! (31000 > 46000)" Yza exclaimed.
"They already have Generation Break 2 set up... Not a problem for us, we'll end the game soon." Ayato smirked. "Triple triggers... What a pain in the ass. (Djinn of Paranoia) Draw. Power to my standing Chatura, and draw. (11000 > 16000) (Wyvern Guard, Guld, Thunderstorm Dragoon) No triggers. Then with a boost from Crownholder, Chatura swings in! (16000 > 23000)"
"I guess I'll take it. Damage check! (Little Skull Witch, Nemain)" Yza declared, as a shock of weak pain ran through his body. "Damn, its my perfect guard... Grah... I forgot about the gloves..."
"Skill of Chatura, counterblast, draw a card and bind your heal trigger." Ayato smirked. "Thunderstrike is active, meaning my G guardian can go full potential..."
"Damn it..." Yza sighed as he binded the card.
"Your turn Shika." Ayato smirked. Shika held his four card hand tightly.

"Stand and draw..." Shika trembled. He knew that he was the weak point of his team, his deck used up his hand, and both of the opposing decks would try and deplete that hand, with high power attacks and being able to attack both players. "Hey Yza. If we lose, I'm sorry."
"What are you saying?!" Yza exclaimed.
"My deck is useless in this tag fight... Everythings basically on your shoulders..." Shika sighed sadly. "I can't even take a bit of pain..."
"Just give it your best shot! Trust me. We're gonna win, no matter what!!" Yza exclaimed to try and cheer up his friend.
"But... I've always been useless... I never had any relevance... And when I do try to help... I always ruin everything..." Shika thought.
"Start the damn ride phase!!" Zeon exclaimed.
Shika nodded and said, Explode onto the field and jukem, here comes the ace of the team, Exceptional Expertise, Rising Nova! I ride my avatar!!" The vanguard circle expanded dark green.

Rising Nova appeared in a blinding dark green light and ran across the battlefield, as he transformed into Great Villaness, Dhampir Lily.

"Stride, Dhampir Lily! Stride skill, add new skill! Then, I call Wink-killer, Nyanrook-sama, then Axe Diver! Skill! Counterblast, soulblast, bind Nyanrook-sama, and re-call him to rear-guard, and he becomes charging! Add 4000 power! (7000 > 11000) Then, with a boost from Nyanrook-sama, Axe Diver attacks! (9000 > 20000)"
"Well damn. I guard with Cruel Hand and intercept with Deal! (9000 > 24000)" Zeon declared.
"Then Nyanrook-sama gets sent to the bottom of deck, and add 4000 power to Wink-killer! (9000 > 13000) Next up, the vanguard attacks! Skill! Counterblast, Yza!" Shika called. Yza nodded and placed a card from him hand into his soul. (Bloodstained Battle Knight, Dorint) "I search my deck and superior call Nyanrook-sama to rear-guard, charge and add 5000 power! (7000 > 16000)"
"No guard." Zeon said.
"Triple Drive!! (Cheer Girl, Tiara) Heal. Power to Wink-killer and I heal a damage! (13000 > 18000) Second! (Cheer Girl, Pauline) Score! Power to Wink-killer and draw! (18000 > 23000) My waifu is stacking up quite nicely. Last check! (Cobalt Impulse) No trigger dammit." Shika groaned.
"Heh, damage check! (Devil Child) No trigger." Zeon said.
"Alright, then skill! I call Cobalt from hand, charge and get 5k! (9000 > 14000) Then Impulse swings in!" Shika declared.
"Damn, no guard... (Amon's Follower, Hell's Deal) No trigger..." Zeon gritted his teeth.
"On hit skill. Retire Barmaid Grace and draw! Then I send him to bottom of deck and draw! Then Wink-killer attacks! (23000 > 39000) Skill, counterblast, send a card from hand into soul, (Cheer Girl, Pauline) and superior call from deck Bulldozer Dobe! Charge! Skill, 10000 added power! (11000 > 21000)" Shika exclaimed. Zeon flinched.
"39k..."
"I Generation Guard... Vritra! Skill, add 5000 power! Then I'll also guard with Plasma Dance! (9000 > 39000)" Ayato declared.
"Damn... Then Nyanrook-sama to bottom and add 4000 power to Dobe, (21000 > 25000) and attack! (25000)" Shika exclaimed.
"..." Zeon had sweat run down his brow. He looked at Ayato, who stared at Yza. "No guard... Damage check! (Dark Knight of Nightmare Land) Crit... All effects to vanguard..." He looked at Ayato, wondering why he did what he did earlier.
"Then I end." Shika panted.

"Stand and draw! To all followers of the Amon, a new leader sent from Hell has arrived! He shall guide you to where the legend is! I ride!! Amon's Leader, Astaroth! Generation Stride!! Kisskill Lira! Then, I call Hell's Nail! Then Lira attacks! (36000)" Zeon declared.
"No guard!" Shika said.
"Triple Drive!!" Zeon cackled. Ayato smirked. "BHAHAHA! (Dark Knight of Nightmare Land) CRITICAL, POWER TO NAIL, CRITICAL TO VANGUARD!! (1★ > 2★) SECOND AND THIRD!! (Amon's Follower, Hell's Draw, Demon World Marquis, Amon) SUCH A SHAME THERE WAS NO TRIGGERS THERE!!" He cackled again, his voice sounded like he was insane. "TAKE TWO DAMAGE!!"
"Shit..." Shika said as sweat ran down his brow. Yza looked at Zeon disgusted.
"He's a psychopath..." He flinched.
"D-damage check... (Axe Diver, Liar Lips) Cri-" Shika started as pain shocked through his body. "RGGGGGH!" He dropped to his knees, shaking and shivering, hand covering his bleeding mouth, sweat running down his cheek and hair covering his pained eyes. Crimson red blood splatted on the floor, as it stained the dark green glove, Zeon cackling at Shika's falling.
"Shika!!" Yza said in worry, seeing his friend in the shaking mess he was, was terriying for the black haired boy. He tried to put a hand on his back and tell him it would be ok, but Shika slapped his hand away and pulled apart his hand from mouth, blood running down his jaw and the crimson red, thin substance gathered on his glove, Yza in shock in the amount of lost blood. As Zeon laughed and laughed, Yza came over and sucker punched him in the face.
"Shut up and call an ambulance you jerk."
"Sorry, but if we did that, we'd be in major trouble." Zeon laughed sinsterly. Shika poured the blood on the ground.
"I'm fine." He groaned slightly as he had not much of a voice.
"If you want, we could do seperate-" Ayato suggested before Shika said,
"No, continue." Ayato nodded and gave Zeon the ok.
"On hit skill, soulcharge two, (Amon's Follower, Grausam) I use skill. Counterblast an Amon and retire Wink-killer. (Amon's Follower, Ron Geenlin) Then I draw a card. Hell's Nail attacks! (14000) Skill, soulcharge three! (Amon's Follower, Hell's Trick, Killing Dollmaster, Demon World Marquis, Amon)"
"I guard with Frog Raider! (11000 > 16000)" Shika exclaimed to the best of his ability.
"Then I end." Zeon grinned.

"Stand and draw..." Ayato said deathly calmly.
"Here comes the onslaught..." Yza thought.
"Legion and Seek Mate!! Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion!" The vanguard circle expanded crimson. "I'll watch you both suffer and tremble! Attack the front row!! (24000 > 32000)"
Yza and Shika flinched. "He's got an extra crit basically..." Yza thought.
"No guard!" Shika exclaimed. Yza looked at him like he was mad.
"I retire Macha and..." Yza sighed. "I-I can't guard... I'm sorry Shika..."
"Its okay, I can't stop him either," Shika laughed nervously.
"We've won!!" Zeon cackled.
"Of course we have." Ayato smirked and put his hand on his deck. "Twin Drive!! First!! (Plasma Dance Dragon) Critical trigger! Power to Chatura and critical to vanguard! (11000 > 16000) (1★ > 2★)" Yza gritted his teeth and looked worried for Shika. Shika in the mean time tried to keep a confident face.
"Second check!" Zeon took the top card of Ayato's deck announced, showing them the card. "Yellow Gem Carbuncle, a critical!" He cackled. Ayato looked pissed at Zeon and said,
"Critical to vanguard, power to Chatura. (16000 > 21000) (2★ > 3★)"
"Three damage to both of us? So a total of six damage... Heh." Yza laughed as he flipped three cards. Shika grinned slightly and also flipped three cards. (Dark Saga Painter, Blaster Dark Spirit, Pitch Black Sage, Charon, Bulldozer Dobe, Frog Raider, Acrobat Verdi)
"No triggers in all of them..." Yza laughed dryly as he was struck with pain. "Grr.." It didn't affect him as much, but it stung a bit.
"GRAAAAAAAAH!!" Shika cried out as he felt the overwhelming pain as he dropped to his knees once more and blood spat from his mouth. He panted. "Dammit..." He covered his mouth again as more blood spilled more.
"Shika!" Yza exclaimed as he tried to comfort his friend.
"Kehehe, we won." Zeon grinned as he threw off the gloves as he collected his deck.
"I guess you don't get the twenty points..." Ayato said.
"Who cares, lets get him some medical attention dammit!" Yza exclaimed.
"He'll be ok. Trust me." Ayato said. "Sayanora." He jumped up and dissappeared. Shika coughed some more and wiped the blood off his chin.
"I'm fine now." He got up and looked at the dark green gloves that layed on his hands. The tips of his silver hair had red. "These gloves..."
"What?" Yza asked him.
"They might help us, in the future." Shika said as he took Zeon's gloves from the ground.
"What do you mean?" Yza asked him again. Shika looked at Yza and said,
"Oh, nothing..." He stood up and stashed the gloves. "My duty is to protect Yza. The pain that I felt is what I'll need to take if I want to protect him. So I better use these gloves to my advantage... Or else I'll be useless..."
