Zeon grumbled as he was thrown out of the tournament hall. He ruffled his dark blue hair and got up. "Damn it..." He sighed.
"You idiot." Said a voice.
"Fuck off, what would you do?" Zeon exclaimed.
"It was in blind rage... You can't let your emotions get the better of you." The voice replied.
"Tch," Zeon simply replied. "Why did I lose?"
"Because you were becoming to reckless." The voice replied. "Don't get cocky because you've been winning a lot."
"Whatever..." Zeon left the stadium to go to his hotel room.
"He's a good fighter... But he still has problems." The voice sighed.

"Next up, in the red corner, its the one with all the thunder, the one that might take this tournament by storm! Its Sanda Tsugeki!!" The announcer exclaimed as Sanda walked out with an exicted grin.
"Whoo!!" Sanda cheered as he walked foward.
"And in the blue corner, its the one guy we all remember because of his green and yellow hair, but we'll all hate him because of his clan, its Zak Remashita!" The announcer exclaimed. The same man that gave Ayaza his key and did the request walked out in a calm manner, blue light following him.
"Yo!" He said, walking foward. As Zak and Sanda walked over to each other and faced each other, Sanda said,
"Lets make this a good match, okay?"
Zak nodded. "I've been waiting for a time like this to try out my new and improved deck." He placed his deck onto the GIRS, same with Sanda.
"Both fighters ready?!" The announcer asked wildly. Both players nodded simply as all other stadium lights turned off and two large lights focused on the two.
"Stand up (the!) Vanguard!!" They exclaimed together.
"Childhood Command, Rosenberg!" Zak exclaimed, vanguard circle expanding light green.
"Wildrun Dragoon!" Sanda exclaimed, vanguard circle expanding a bright orange.

On one side of a battlefield in a place that looked like inside a bug hive, a boy with spiked blue hair and blue thunder surronding his red armoured body appeared, he was riding a red dragon. Across him was a man in a bug like suit, it was black with gold highlights and looked like a super villian.

"Megacolony?" Sanda asked him.
"So? Sure its unpopular, but I like unpopular. Reason why I dyed some bits of my hair green and yellow and got alot of piercings." Zak grinned.
"Ahuh." Sanda nodded his head.
"Stand and draw! I ride Little Dorcas and pull back Rosenberg. End." Zak said.

"Stand and draw! I ride Thundershout and pull back Wildrun! With a boost, attack! (8000 > 13000)" Sanda declared.
"No guard." Zak said.
"Drive check! (Demonic Dragon Beserker, Chatura) Nothing." Sanda sighed.
"Damage! (Vulcan Larfertei)" Zak exclaimed.
"End." Sanda said.

"Stand and draw! I ride Punish Stag and call Aristoscythe! Attack! Using Aristo's Dark Device, add 2000 power! (9000 > 11000)" Zak exclaimed.
"Proffessor O, what exactly is Dark Device?" The announcer asked.
"Dark Device is Megacolony's keyword. It is active while your opponent has no stand units on the same column, and for Zak's case, there are no stand units technically, as Sanda doesn't have any unit there!" Proffessor O explained.
"No guard! (Dragon Dancer, Vianne) Stand. Stand Wildrun and power to vanguard. (8000 > 13000)" Sanda said.
"Punish Stag! (9000 > 14000)" Zak exclaimed.
"No guard aswell!" Sanda replied.
"Trigger check! (Earth Dreamer) Perfect, my own stand! Stand Aristo and power! (9000 > 14000)" Zak exclaimed.
"Damage! (Rockclimb Dragon)" Sanda tightened his fist.
"Aristoscythe, attack! I user her skill, Dark Device! (14000 > 16000)" Zak exclaimed.
"Guard with Djinn of Paranoia! (13000 > 18000)" Sanda exclaimed.
"End." Zak smirked.

"Stand and draw, ride Cloudmaster and call Chatura, Chatura attacks! (11000)" Sanda exclaimed.
"Guard with Scissor Finger! (9000 > 14000)" Zak said.
"Then the vanguard! (9000 > 14000)" Sanda exclaimed.
"No guard." Zak smiled innocently.
"Drive check! (Dragonic Vanquisher)" Sanda exclaimed.
"Damage check. (Charming Mutant, Sweet Cocktail)" Zak said.
"Turn end." Sanda replied as he shuffled his hand.

"Stand and draw! A single swoop with your claws, let the evil within you thrive as you become the new leader of a new age! I ride my avatar, Intimidating Mutant, Darkface!" Zak exclaimed as he opened his eyes for the first time this match, dark purple eyes shattered Sanda's soul as his opponent quivered at his eyes. The vanguard circle expanded light green.

On Cray, a large upright stag beetle of sorts with a green cape flowing behind him appeared, dark red was on his pincers and he had fierce green eyes that meant business.

"Those eyes..." Sanda shook. Zak closed his eyes and said with an innocent smile,
"Well, this is why I rarely open my eyes. I can see just fine though."
"Your messed up and creepy..." Sanda deadpanned.
"Just like my avatar, no?" He opened one eye to reveal his purple pupil, which instantly added a whole new level of creepy to the boy.
"Please, continue before you scare me to death!!" Sanda exclaimed.
"Right, I call Bomb Scissor, and with a boost from Bomb, Aristo attacks Chatura, and Aristo's skill is active! (9000 > 15000)" Zak exclaimed.
"I guard with Reseph! (8000 > 18000)" Sanda exclaimed.
"My vanguard, to your vanguard! Bomb Scissors skill, into soul, draw a card and give the vanguard 5k! (11000 > 21000)" Zak grinned.
"No guard!" Sanda replied.
"Twin Drive!! (Rebel Mutant, Starshield, Sky-slicing Rending General, Superior Mantis) Nothing..." Zak sighed.
"Damage check. (Thunder Shout Dragon) Nothing either." Sanda said.
"End." Zak smirked.

"Stand and draw... Fall back those that would dare to be a thorn on my path of victory and conquest! I ride my avatar, Dragonic Vanquisher!!" Sanda exclaimed, vanguard circle expanding orange.

Suddenly, a large thunderous boom happened, tearing the ceiling open, letting intense rain fall through as the sky was grey and the clouds were dark. From the thunder, a rain drenched dragon appeared, he had blood red scaly skin, yellow piercing eyes, blue sharpened armour and lots of blue thunder.
"I SHALL VANQUISH YOU!!" Dragonic Vanquisher exclaimed wildly, more lightning and thunder strook, making more holes and letting in intense rain.
Darkface smirked and laughed,
"You really think so?"
"I KNOW so." Dragonic Vanquisher smirked back.

"Generation Stride!! Lightning Dragon Knight, Zorass! Stride skill, counterblast, retire your front row rear-guard and bind it face up!" Sanda exclaimed. "Next up, I call Vianne, Chain-bolt and Rockclimb, then I use his skill! Counterblast, soulblast, choose a rear-guard and bind it, but you only have one, so you can do that!"
"Damn..." Zak gritted his teeth.
"Then I use Vianne's skill to return her to my deck, draw a card and countercharge one. Next I use Chain-bolt's skill, choose a drop zone card, and seeing you only have one, bind it face up and my vanguard gets 2000 power! (26000 > 28000) And finally to resolve Rockclimb skill, he gets 2000 power aswell! (9000 > 11000) Then attack! (11000 > 18000)" Sanda declared.
"Generation Guard! Mutant Deity Fortress, Gricefort! Skill, counterblast and rest all of your backrow units, and he gets 5000 power for every two rested unit! (26000 > 31000)" Zak declared.
"Ok, vanguard attack! (28000)" Sanda declared.
"No guard." Zak replied.
"Triple Drive!! (Chain-bolt Dragoon, Dragon Dancer, Anastasia, Blitz-spear Dragoon) Nothing..." Sanda said disappointed.
"Damage check! (New Face Mutant, Little Dorcas) Nothing." Zak said, smirk on his face.
"Then Chatura attacks! (11000)" Sanda exclaimed.
"Guard with Aristo! (11000 > 16000)" Zak declared.
"I end." Sanda replied.

"Stand and draw! Liberating the Generation Zone! Claws of darkness, evil has spoken, and the time to break out the your true self is now!! Generation Stride!! Mafia Leader, Darkface!!" Zak declared.
"Shouldn't it be Merciless Mutant Deity, Darkface?" Sanda sweatdropped.
"Fine, Merciless Mafia Leader, Darkface!" Zak exclaimed. Sanda sweatdropped some more.
"Continue..."
"Use the Stride Skill! Counterblast and give your column on my right a new skill, where if its at rest at the end of your turn, I can draw a card! Best yet, you can't stand them during your next stand phase!" Zak smirked as he opened his eyes again, revealing the purple pupils. "Then I use skill! Counterblast and G Persona Blast! I give Chatura a new skill where he can't be chosen for effects and cost, and can't even intercept!!" Zak exclaimed. "Not only that, he gets 5k! (26000 > 31000) And then I call Earth Dreamer, Sweet Cocktail and Lafertei, using Larfetei's skill, your Voltage can't intercept! Isn't that nice? Then I start it off with a boost from Larfetei, Sweet Cocktail attacks! (9000 > 16000) Using her skill, I gigaparalyze Chatura!!"
"Three gigaparalyzed units, all of which I can't intercept using them huh? Well damn, Megacolony sure has changed. I don't guard! (Thunder Shout Dragon) Nothing there."
"Then the vanguard!! (31000 > 35000)" Zak declared.

The now yellow eyed, purple caped and black armoured stag beetle with now much larger claws with two green eye like features above its head ran foward, jumping high into the air, and shooting a blast of poison at the dragon, before a blonde haired woman wearing red robes with golden lining deflected the the purple substance with her flimsy silk scarf.

"Anastasia perfect guard!" Sanda announced.
"Triple drive." Zak smirked as he closed his eyes. (Scissor Finger, Makeup Widow, Earth Dreamer) "Wow, wouldya lookie here? Double stands, standing my rested column and giving power!! (9000 > 14000)(7000 > 12000)"
"Zak has managed to pull two stand triggers to restand his column, this is bad for the one card Sanda!" The announcer exclaimed.
"Calling all those cards was an idiot move, what was I thinking?!" Sanda gritted his teeth at the move.
"Attack, skill, gigparalyze Wildrun Dragoon! (14000 > 26000)" Zak declared.
"No guard... (Djinn of Paranoia) Draw trigger. Power to vanguard and draw. (11000 > 16000)" Sanda said.
"Pass." Zak smiled innocently.

"Stand and draw..." Sanda sighed as he couldn't stand any of his gigaparalyzed rear-guards.
"Using Earth Dreamer's skill, return to deck and draw two cards." Zak smirked.
"Damn... Generation Stride!! Conquering Supreme Dragon, Voltech Zapper Dragon!! Stride skill, I retire your Sweet Cocktail and bind her! Then I use Chain-bolt's skill! Bind a drop zone card face up and the vanguard gets 2000 power! (26000 > 28000)"
"Bind my grade 3 used to stride then." Zak said calmly.
"Thunderstrike 3 is active..." Sanda nodded. "I use Wildrun's skill, into soul and then you bind a drop zone card and vanguard gets a new skill, and since Thunderstrike 2 is active, add 5000 power! (28000 > 33000) I'm not gonna let you draw four cards!! Voltech Zapper, attack the vanguard!! Thunderstrike 3, activate!! (33000 > 43000)"
"There it is, Narukami's skill, Thunderstrike! Active while the equal or more cards are in the opponent's bind zone!" The announcer exclaimed as the crowd cheered.
"Starshield, perfect guard!!" Zak declared.
"Damn, triple drive!!" Sanda exclaimed. "I need stand triggers more then ever before..." He gritted his teeth and flipped the top three cards. (One Strike Two Hit Djinn, Lightning of Triumphant Return, Reseph, Mighty Bolt Dragoon) "Damn... Critical and power to Chatura and end turn." Sanda said sadly.
"Because you still have three gigaparalysed units, I draw three cards." Zak grinned as he picked up three cards from the top of his deck.

"Stand and draw! Generation Stride!! Poison Mutant Deity, Paraspear! Using his skill, I forcibly rest all your units and since three or more rear-guards of yours are rest, I draw a card and he gets 5000 power. (26000 > 31000) Next up, I use Darkface's stride skill to gigaparalyze your Chatura and your back row rear-guard! And I call Earth Dreamer, Makeup Widow and Punish Stag! Using Punish Stag's skill to Gigparalyze Rockclimb and gain 2k (9000 > 11000). With a boost from Larfertei, Makeup Widow attack! (4000 > 11000)" Zak declared.
"Intercept with Rockclimb! (11000 > 16000)" Sanda exclaimed.
"Tch, so you got rid of a gigaparalyzed unit, big whoop. Vanguard attack! (31000 > 35000)" Zak declared.
"Generation Guard!! Lightning King Spirit Emporer, Vritra! Thunderstrike 1, add 5000 shield! (11000 > 31000) And I guard with Mighty Bolt and Reseph! (31000 > 46000)" Sanda gritted his teeth.
"Aw man, triple triggers? What a pain the ass... Triple drive! (Rebel Mutant, Starshield, Charming Mutant, Sweet Cocktail, Machining Honeybee) A heal. Power to Punish Stag but I can't heal. (11000 > 16000) Attack and end this game! (16900)" Zak declared with exictment in his voice.
"I can't guard... Damage check. (Dragon Dancer, Vianne) Stand trigger." Sanda smiled at the irony. "Oh well. I did a stupid move and it made me lose. Atleast I had fun." He grinned some more.
"Ah, that was awesome!" Zak said cheerfully.
"And in a sudden surprise of twist, the least favourite to win wins?! And the favourite to win loses?! What in the odds!! Zak is our winner!" The announcer exclaimed wildly as the crowd cheered and whatnot.
"Hey Zak, good game." Sanda grinned as he held out a hand to shake.
"My pleasure my friend, you played well." Zak shaked his hand firmly. "Say, when you have the chance, drop by my hotel suite today and we can have a round 2."
Sanda laughed. "Yeah that'd be fun."

Meanwhile that happened, Dax walked down a hall where Mai stood there, eating an ice lolly as she texted something on her purple phone.
"Hey sis, I won!" He cheered. Mai looked up from her device and nodded.
"Yeah, I know. I'm proud of you." She said bluntly.
"Jeez, your so monotone!" Dax put his older sister into a headlock.
"So?" Mai asked him as he shook her slightly.
"Anyways, why are you here? Your match starts later today." Dax said.
"I woke up to view your match on my phone here... I hate crowds." She said simply.
"Ah, well, lets sharpen your deck before your big match!!" Dax said with exictment.
"I wont need to, this Riku girl seems easy to beat. Aqua Force, such a meta clan yet such a weak one." Mai said simply. "I have the odds, 87% chance to win, I made sure of it."
"Damn, don't get so technical for me sis!" Dax giggled.
"Unlike you I'm serious about this tournament. Plus we need the prize cash desperately." Mai said simply as she walked away from her younger brother.
"Well shit." Dax sighed. "She'll never learn how to have fun, will she?" He placed his hands behind his head. "But shes right... We need that cash..." He continued to walk down the hallway.

I'm feeling really bad for Sanda, he's slowly becoming the Morikawa of this book, losing all his matches...
Or maybe I just misplayed his deck... Oh well, atleast Megacolony is shining through XD
