Ryu stretched and his bones clicked. "Finally, Nova Grappler's time to shine!" He grinned.
"Hope you lose." Yza said, still annoyed with Ryu.
"Tsundere maid," He replied as he went away.

"Damn, it's 10pm already!" A boy with messy brown hair and purple eyes exclaimed. He wore a yellow shirt, and over that a red parka jacket. He had baggy blue trousers that had cuffs similiar to those found on jogging pants. "It's time for our performance, Harri." The man smiled.

"In the blue corner, it's the disappearing magical act of the tournament, it's the Clan Leader of Pale Moon, it's Hideyoshi Narumi!" The announcer exclaimed.
"Better known as the Travelling Act, Nhis!" The boy exclaimed as he ran out, blue light following him.
"That's a stupid sounding nickname if I ever heard one." Ryu snickered as he waited.
"In the red corner, it's a restanding annoyance with difficult set up, but it is well worth it in the end, it's Ryu Jomko!!" The announcer cheered.
"Restand the vanguard~" Ryu smiled as he walked out, red light following him.
"Your gonna lose big time Nova boy." Nhis smirked as he placed his deck on the pillar.
"I'm gonna make sure you regret saying that, Clan Leader." Ryu grinned. Although, it wasn't playful. But it was like it was challenging him. Nhis put on an annoyed face at his much younger opponent.
"Stand up (the!) Vanguard!" They exclaimed.
"Transmigration Evolution, Miraioh!" Ryu exclaimed, vanguard circle expanding light orange.
"Cat Knight in High Boots!" Nhis exclaimed, vanguard circle expanding pink. "I'll start. Stand and draw. I ride Cutie Paratrooper and end."

"She goes into soul. Then, with a boost from Magician, Vanguard! (9000 > 13000)" Nhis exclaimed.
"No guard." Ryu shook his head no.
"Drive check! (Masked Magician, Harri)" Nhis grinned. "Next turn, we'll definitely show him, partner."
"Damage check! (Ultimate Raizer, Dual-flare)" Ryu gritted his teeth.
"Skill of Rainbow, since the attack hit, I soulcharge one (Purple Trapezist) and return him back to deck and shuffle." Nhis said as he shuffled his deck. "Turn end."

"Vanguard! (10000 > 18000)" Ryu exclaimed, sweat running down his cheek.
"No guard." Nhis replied, still confused on the crowd.
"Drive check! (Twin Blader) Nothing." Ryu laughed.
"Damage check! (Masquerade Bunny)" Nhis boomed, his words shock throughout the stadium as the crowd was in a bit of a surprise.
"Your really loud..." Ryu deadpanned.

"No guard! (King of Sword)" Ryu exclaimed.
"Darkside into soul. Harri attacks next! (11000)" Nhis declared.
"No guard!" Ryu replied loudly.
"Drive check! (Purple Trapezist, Tender Breeder) Heal trigger! Healing a damage, power to Harri! (11000 > 16000)" Nhis smirked.
"Damage check! (Ultimate Raizer Glory-hand) Nothing." Ryu sighed.
"Turn end." Nhis smirked.

"Liberating the Generation Zone! Shine across the universe, and show them the truth that never even existed! Generation, Stride! Meteorkaiser, Bustered! Call, Arashid and with a boost from Arashid, Flame-wing strikes! Skill, since I have a Raizer vanguard, it gets 3k! (9000 > 12000 > 19000)" Ryu declared.
"No guard! (Poison Juggler) Sweet, a crit! Everything to vanguard! (11000 > 16000/1★ > 2★)" Nhis smirked.
"Bustered, attacks! (26000 > 34000) Activating skill, counterblast and G Blasting himself! For every face up copy in the G Zone, stand, Flame-wing! ([< ] > [^])" Ryu smirked, it showed he was having fun, even though he was under pressure, as the stadium began to shout and scream once again.
"Generation, Guard! Chainsaw Megatrick, Furnival! His skill, checking the top 3 cards of deck, putting Crescent Moon Juggler into soul, putting everything else to the bottom of deck. And since his grade is higher than 1, add 5000 shield! (11000 > 26000 > 31000) And I add Poison Juggler for fun! (31000 > 41000)" Nhis smirked.
"Triple Drive!! (Cat Butler, Twin Blader, Cat Butler) What a let down..." Ryu gritted his teeth. "Flame-wing! (9000 > 12000)"
"No guard! (Darkside Mirror Master) No trigger." Nhis smirked even more.
"Turn end." Ryu laughed under his breath.

A pink haired magician with a blue suit and staff smirked as a whirlwind of dark pink over came him, and ripping through was a pale blue skinned demon with sharp white jagged teeth and blood red eyes. He was built bulky, and had long coils of dark blue hair coming from his head, and two large antler like features protruding from his head, which was a rich brown, almost black. His hands were massive and his claws were a dark purple. "Are you ready...?" He asked with a smirk.

"Stride skill, Magia!" Nhis exclaimed.
"Magia, Pale Moon's keyword! Cards called with this return back into soul! A very annoying effect!" The announcer exclaimed.
"Counterblast! Soulcharge! (Darkside Sword Master) Call from soul, Crescent Moon! Then, Crescent's Magia! Counterblast, soulblast, soulcharge! (Cutie Paratrooper) Call from soul, Cutie Paratrooper! Skill, add 2k to both him and her! (9000 > 11000) (7000 > 9000) Harri's skill gives him 5k! (11000 > 16000) Then Paratrooper's Magia! Soulcharge! (Flying Peryton) And call Peryton in the same column! Add 5k to both him and her! (9000 > 14000) (9000 > 14000) Then, Cat's skill from soul! Calling him to rear-guard! His Magia brings out Purple Trapezist! Her skill, putting Cat back into soul and call, Darkside to rear-guard! Mephisto's skill! G Persona Blast! Then, Magia! Call, Cat back to rear-guard and add 5k! (5000 > 10000) Then, Mephisto's skill adds 1k to every unit for each face up copy! (16000 > 17000) (14000 > 15000) (14000 > 15000) (10000 > 11000) (4000 > 5000) (26000 > 27000) With a boost from Cutie, Peryton! (15000 > 30000)" Nhis declared as the stadium was in an uproar.

"30k?!" Said a shocked Yza.
"Don't give up on Ryu just yet, he has 2 perfect guards in hand." Ayaza grinned.

"I'll take it! (Red Lightning) Critical! Everything to vanguard! (11000 > 16000/1★ > 2★)" Ryu grinned shakily.
"Darkside boosts, Cresent attacks! (17000 > 22000)" Nhis exclaimed.
"Generation Guard! Righteous Superhuman, Blue Prison! (11000 > 26000) Skill, since I have equal damage to you, add 5k shield! (26000 > 31000)" Ryu desperately called out.
"That was wasted." Nhis commented.
"I wouldn't have reached that without an extra damage." Ryu grinned.
"Then with a boost, the vanguard! (27000 > 38000) Skill of Darkside, into soul, draw a card and add 5k! (38000 > 43000)" Nhis exclaimed.
"Twin Blader, perfect guard!!" Ryu exclaimed fiercly and shakily.

Twin Blader swooped in and blocked Mephisto's incoming attack, sparks flew through the sky, as Mega-flare looked at the similiar sized demon to him.
"Make sure you stop him!" He called out, mechanical voice apparent in his voice.
"Gotcha!!" Twin Blader responded, as he dragged his yellow blade to block the attack, sparks flew some more.

"Triple Drive!!! (Masquerade Bunny, Flying Peryton, Darkside Mirror Master) Tch, nothing. Turn end, everything back into soul." Nhis sighed.

"Bustered, attack! Skill, activate! Counterblast, G Blast himself! (26000 > 34000) For every face up Bustered, STAND A REAR-GUARD!!" Ryu exclaimed. "Stand, Tough Boy, Arashid, Phoenix! Then, since two or more rear-guards were stood, he gets a new skill." He grinned.
"Darkside, perfect guard!" Nhis exclaimed.
"So be it... Triple Drive!! (Minimum Raizer, Ultimate Raizer, Mega-flare, Red Lightning) Everything to vanguard! (26000 > 36000/1★ > 3★) Next up, Bustered skill that he gained! Counterblast one!" Ryu flipped down a card in the damage zone, as the card expanded orange. "Discard two cards from hand!" He discarded two cards, and the two cards expanded orange in the drop zone. "Let's go, RESTAND THE VANGUARD!" The pile of cards shot up, as the vanguard circle expanded underneath, and ontop of it, shining a dark orange.
"His whole field is stood up once more... Expected from Nova Grappler." Nhis smiled while laughing.
"Attack once more, the vanguard! (36000 > 44000, 3★)" Ryu exclaimed.
"It's game over for me..." Nhis sighed with a grin. "Oh well, let's make it enjoyable for the crowd!!" He slammed Darkside Mirror Master on the guardian circle. "Perfect guard! Skill, countercharge!"
"1 card left in hand! I'm gonna win! Drive check! (Three Minutes) A draw! Power to Dual-flare and draw! (9000 > 14000) With a boost from Cat Butler, Dual-flare! (14000 > 19000)" Ryu exclaimed.
"I can't even guard..." He looked at Masquerade Bunny with a smile. "Damage check! (Fullsmile Wyvern)"
"Now, end it, Phoenixraizer! (9000 > 12000 > 19000)" Ryu smirked.
"No guard, so damage check!! (Masked Magician, Harri) So I guess partners do go down, together." He smiled some more at his card.
"And after that explosive match, the winner is Ryu Jomko!!" The announcer exclaimed.
He took a breath of air as Ryu relaxed slightly, his tenseness gone. "Good game Narumi." He grinned.
"I'm the travelling act, Nhis! Jomko." Nhis grinned back.
"Use the name Narumi more. It fits you better than whatever jacked up nickname you can come up with." Ryu snickered.
"I am a twenty six year old man with amazing taste in nicknames! Don't defy me!!" Nhis exclaimed back at Ryu, slightly angered by his comment.
"You look fifty something!" Ryu walked away, holding the peace sign to him.
"COME BACK HERE JUNGLE BOY!!" He exclaimed at him. Ryu stuck his tongue out at Nhis as he ran away into the hallway.

In a waiting room with warm colours, sat on a red couch a boy with white hair, which was covered up his green and white striped hat. He had blood red eyes and a dark blue loose tie with a cyan baggy waterproof textured like coat. "Maverick, good luck out there!" He cheered on his friend. A boy who looked slightly older than the white haired one stood up, a slight grunt coming from him. He had a muscluar body and shaggy hair, with signs of a goatee possibly coming out of his chin. He had a dark grey vest, black gym shorts and had black eyes to accompany his black hair.
"Thanks Ryuzaki. I'll try my best." He grinned at the white haired boy, who was Ryuzaki.
"Make sure to break a leg!" Payic said to her friend as she also sat on the couch.
"Thanks, Payic." He smiled.
"Beat the eleven year old into a pulp Maverick." Ryuzaki finally said as Maverick relaxed himself.
"Yeah yeah, I know what I'm doing." He smiled at Ryuzaki, and opened the door to go outside, and left.
"Well, I'm gonna get us some victory sodas when he wins." Ryuzaki said as he stood up.
"I hope he does... You didn't even make it past the prelims, and I lost to a pervert like you... The only way I stopped myself from killing him was to imagine you were there, seeing you also use Shadow Paladin." Payic rolled her eyes.
"Aw, thanks." Ryuzaki said mockingly, as he then continued, "What flavour soda?"
"Berry." She replied. Ryuzaki nodded and left to go to the closest convience store.

Yza walked down the grey path as he looked at the convience store. "This is the place." He entered inside, and his black eyes met to the gaze of blood red, the same boy was there from the waiting room.

"Uh, you ok?" The boy asked Yza, who stared at him, like something was off.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just here to grab some breakfast items." Yza brushed it off. Ryuzaki looked at Yza before going over to a vending machine.
