Kaiko looked around Sanda's room. "No signs of his deck... That's weird. Outside people saw a deckcase being thrown outside late at night. The deck in question is missing. Probably stolen, by now." He thought. "May I take the body for further investigation?" Kaiko asked.
"Of course, Curator Rimen." One of the investigators said.
"Great, thank you." He picked up the dead body covered in a material to keep it from decomposing slightly. "Don't worry Sanda Tsugeki... You'll be avenged, like Izo." He said to the corpse quietly. "Jinsei!" He spoke up.
"Yes?" Jinsei asked.
"Take the body back to our investigation room in the United Sanctuary. I'll dig around the body later. In the meantime, I'll examine the room." Kaiko said.
"Alright then." Jinsei walked away with the body.

"I feel like watching Highschool DxD and SAO at the same time..." Ryuzaki commented, eating a potato chip.
"I'm going to take this potato chip and eat it!!" Maverick dove his hand into the bag and pulled a potato chip out dramatically, as he threw the chip into his mouth and epically ate it.

"Ride, Hoel! Attack! (9000 > 14000)" Yza declared.
"No guard." Mai replied.
"Drive check!! (Dragheart, Luard)" Yza said.
"Damage. (Dawning Knight, Gorboduc)" Mai replied with a monotone.
"Turn end." Yza smirked.

"By the third turn, both players tied are with 6 cards in hand and 1 damage each!!" The announcer exclaimed.

"Stand and draw, ride, Henrinus and call Kinarius and Scarface Lion to rear guard. Kinarius, attack. (9000 > 13000)" Mai smirked.
"Guard with Howl Owl! (9000 > 14000)" Yza smiled back at her.
"So be it, Henrinus. (9000 > 14000)" Mai replied.
"No guard!" Yza exclaimed.
"Drive check. (Holy Mage, Candace)" Mai said.
"Wait, your still running Candace? Why not Alessia, she's way better..." Yza said as he took a damage. (Dragwizard, Knies)
"It's because... I can't afford her..." Mai admitted quietly, turning slightly red from embarrassment. "I couldn't even pull her from a pack... End."

"That's sad... Stand and draw. The immense power of the red dragon that was acculmalated in secret, unleash as the bells of despair chime and signal the darkest end! Ride, my occultic avatar!!" Yza slammed a card on the vanguard circle, it expanding pitch black. "Dragheart, Luard!! Call Abyssal and Nemain and use her skill. Counterblast, discard a card and draw two. Now, show her what your made off Luard, attack!! (11000 > 16000)"
"Signalling the end huh? No guard." Mai said.
"Twin Drive!! (Belial Owl, Black Chain Flame Dance Formation, Hoel) Alright, a critical! Power to Nemain and critical to vanguard! (3000 > 8000)(1★ > 2★)" Yza smirked.
"Damage check. (Knife Throwing Knight, Maleagant, Sunrise Ray Knight, Gurguit)" Mai said.
"Nemain! (8000 > 15000)" Yza called.
"No guard. (Curable Angel) Heal. Power to vanguard and heal." Mai said.
"Turn end." Yza tched.

Mai exclaimed, vanguard circle expanding gold with streaks of blue. "Generation Stride!! Golden Dragon, Build Peak Dragon! Stride skill, counterblast and look at the top four cards of deck. Superior call Marcia with 2000 added power. (8000 > 10000) Call from hand, Jeffrey. Unite has been activated. Skill of Build Peak, for every rear-guard, add 3k. (26000 > 41000) Skill of Kinarius, since I have a Gurguit vanguard, add 4k. (9000 > 13000)" Mai said. "Kinarius attacks! (13000 > 17000)"
"Guard with Owl! (11000 > 21000)"
"Alright, Vanguard, attack! (41000 > 46000) Skill of Scarface. Into soul, add 5k and draw. (46000 > 51000)" Mai replied.
"Build Peak? More like Buff Peak... No guard!" Yza exclaimed.
"You chose it for yourself, triple drive!! (Golden Holy Sword, Gurguit, Knight of the Remaining Sun, Henrinus, Flame of Victory) Well, lookie here, a critical." Mai smirked. "Power to Maria and critical to vanguard. (10000 > 15000) (1★ > 2★)"
"Damage check! (Revenger, Undead Angel, Skull Witch, Nemain)" Yza gritted his teeth.
"With a boost from Jeffrey, Maria! (15000 > 22000)" Mai exclaimed.
"Generation Guard, Ludvik! (11000 > 26000)" Yza exclaimed. "I also add Kahedin!"
"Fuelling Ritual I see." Mai commented. "Jeffrey's unite, into soul and draw. Build Peak's Unite, when returned, countercharge and soulcharge."

Ritual skill of Owl, countercharge! Superior call from deck, Swordbreaker and Knies. Knies skill, add 2k! (7000 > 9000) Skill of Swordbreaker, soulblast and draw. Call, Hoel and use Phantom's skill. Counterblast and G Persona Blast! Add 10k and 1 crit! (26000 > 36000/1★ > 2★) With a boost from Knies, Nemain attacks! (3000 > 12000)" Yza exclaimed.
"Hm, I see. Your trying to get me to burn out on resources by making me call more, thus making me use counterblast and soulblast... An interesting tactic. However, I'll guard this attack! (11000 > 16000)" Mai analysed with a smirk.
"Hm, guess you've got me figured out. Knies' skill, counterblast and retire Nemain, I draw one. With a boost from Swordbreaker, Hoel, your up! (9000 > 15000)"
"You'll destroy your field, stride into most likely Dragdriver Luard, superior call two and use Luard's skill to superior call another one, essentially making what your planning to do a simple retire one. Your moves are easy to see through if you've done proper research." Mai said.
"This girl... She's exposing my every move!" Yza gulped. "S-so, are you gonna guard?"
"Nope. (Player of the Holy Pipe, Gerrie) Stand. Power to vanguard and stand Coel. (11000 > 16000)" Mai said.
"Phantom Blaster attacks! Skill, retiring Swordbreaker, Knies and Rute, retire two to guard! Skill of Rute, counterblast another and him into soul, add 5k to vanguard! (26000 > 31000 > 26000 > 31000/1★ > 2★)" Yza smirked.
"Skill of Gurguit, counterblast and soulblast, look at the top four cards of deck and call to guardian circle, Candace! Her skill, discard and perfect guard!" Mai smirked.
"Shit, she pulled it!" Yza groaned. "Fucking hell, triple drive. (Dragwizard, Morfessa, Dragsaver, Esras, Howl Owl)" He sighed. "Draw and I just lost three units... Turn end. Skill of Belial Owl in drop zone, it goes to the bottom of the deck."
"Unite skill of Marcia, into soul and countercharge." Mai commented.

"Nearly 1 million total power... Too bad for you... Shield me, my waifu!! Dragsaver, Esras!" Yza grinned with a smirk.
"Damn... Like Dax would say... We are Gold Paladin, we only need one trigger! Triple drive!! (Flame of Victory, Holy Mage, Candace, Curable Angel) Critical and heal. Can't heal, but everything to standing Kinarius. (27000 > 37000/1★ > 2★) With a boost, attack! (37000 > 48000, 2★)" Mai exclaimed.
"No way am I gonna lose!! Generation Guard, write the edgiest plot, Plotmaker Dragon!! Ritual, add 10k shield! (26000 > 36000) Add to the guard, Howl Owl, Undead Angel!! (36000 > 41000 > 51000)" Yza panted.
"N-no way!!" Mai exclaimed, getting angered at this. "You managed to survive...?!"
"Somehow..." Yza smirked.
"Damn you, turn end!" Mai growled.

"Now, it's finally my turn." Yza grinned. "Miracle's happen, y'know."

Kaiko walked down the hallway as his phone started to ring. He looked at the number. It was a private number. He pressed accept and put the phone against his ear.
"Hello?" He asked.
"Hello, Kaiko." A young voice replied.
"Who are you?" Kaiko asked.
"I should be asking you that. I mean, your not human, after all." The voice replied.
"How do you know about this?" Kaiko asked the caller.
"I have my sources... As for you, unless you want your little secret of your true identity to be released, come on down to the Hotel Room Number 34... If you don't, your secret will be revealed." The caller threatened.
"Better safe than sorry." Kaiko decided. "Alright then." He said.
"Don't end the call just yet... Keep it until you arrive. The room should be unlocked." The voice replied.
"Alright then." Kaiko walked towards the room.

When Kaiko arrived at the room, he opened the door to find the room dark. Curtains closed and lights off. The door shut suddenly with a harsh click, making the sound of locking heard. Kaiko didn't waver, but was more confused than anything. All of a sudden, a thick smog of what seemed to be gas appeared in the air, as Kaiko sniffed it and realised suddenly that a gas was spreading in the room. He covered his nose and mouth and tried to breathe shallow as he ran to the door and tried to open it. Locked. Appearing from the darkness was a man wearing a gas mask, who had blue hair. He smirked at Kaiko as he swiftly walked towards Kaiko and managed to snatch the phone off him, much to Kaiko's dismay.
"Who are you?" Kaiko asked as he tried to breathe shallow, as the air became more hazy and more thick, the poisonous gas only getting worse.
"I am your nightmare." The masked person said. He removed his mask, to reveal a face. Kaiko raised a brow.
"Who is he? I can't tell much from this darkness...." Kaiko thought as he coughed, the figure re applied the mask on as he chuckled lightly.
"You'll be dead soon. The levels of gas here will rise so high, even if you breathe shallow, it'll be for nothing and your lungs will slowly melt from the inside out. As for me, I've eaten the key to escape from his room. Good luck." He laughed as Kaiko dropped to his knees as he covered his nose and mouth. The gas got thicker, and thicker, to the point where maybe even the gas mask couldn't protect Kaiko's assassin.
"Son of a...!" Kaiko felt himself slowly melting from the inside. "Fuck... You..." He dropped to the floor, holding his shirt tightly where his lungs were, as they slowly melted into a paste inside of him. The figure took out the controller for the gas and turned it off. As the gas cleared up, the assassin removed his mask and phoned Ayato.

"So you've killed him?" Ayato asked as his knife was dripping with blood, him standing infront of a control panel and security cameras, all smashed up and destroyed so whatever happened today wouldn't be recorded or saved. "I see." He said. He looked at the man he killed; gauged his eyes out and slit his throat, quick and efficient. "I've managed to destroy the recording system."

"Great work Ayato. Now they'll try and find evidence of Tai shouting he was part of our group, Sanda's death, Kaiko's death and the tragedy that will unfold soon... But instead they'll find nothing. I mean, the matches for round 2 weren't being streamed live and was being saved for later broadcast, but destroying these tapes mean nothing. Now only the people in the stadium that remembered these events will be called crazy or have the butterfly effect being stamped on them and forgotten." The killer smirked as light blue strands of hair fell infront of his eyes, giving an eerie look. "Phase 2 was a success." The door unlocked, and coming inside was someone with blonde hair.
"I'm here to treat you, just in case. We can't have you die now, can we?" The blonde person said.
"Yup, that'd be bad. Nice to see you made it..." The assassin said as the blondie closed the door and opened the windows.
