"..." Yza looked at Backlion and Rukia. "This is one sick prank you pulled on us guys." He said shakily. Something wasn't right with this Yza. It was like he was trying to cope with this.
"This isn't a prank Yza." Backlion smirked darkly as he picked up Rukia, her sitting on his arm. "This is reality."

(Insert the opening here)

"You're joking... Aren't you?" Yza raised his head to look at Backlion.
"That fucking scumbag!!" Ayaza growled in his mind, his eyes narrowed and his eyebrows furrowed, anger resonated from the boy as Backlion seemed so carefree with his choices.
"Fuck you Backlion, what the hell did you do with Rukia?!" Ryu spat.
"Hey Rukia, this isn't real right?" Shika asked, him slightly worried.
"Everyone, shut up!" Backlion shouted as the air became tense and fell silent. "You!" He pointed at Serena. "Speak for the group. You're too calm."
"Do I have too...?" She asked in the calmest voice she could muster. Just like everyone else, she was angry, fuming, and upset.
"Do it." Backlion walked over to the girl that was sitting down, and used his foot to move her head slightly.
"Hey you bastard-!" Shika exclaimed as he was about to run in head first as a voice spoke.
"You, down!"
"Who was that?" Ayaza mumbled.
"Gavrail?" Spectral Duke Dragon walked forward.
"Yes, it's Gavrail, avatar of this girl." The voice spoke out once again. It had a slight poshness and smoothness to it.
"Come out then you coward!!" Spectral Duke Dragon roared out.
"I'm glad too then you ignorant fool!" Gavrail called out as the card in Serena's deck box flew out and turned into a large pair of black and red scissors, as white tape with green patterns on it wrapped around her arm.
"Woah..." Serena mumbled, surprised.
"Haha, can't come out can ya?! Come at me!!" Spectral Duke shouted.
"As for the King and Queen, we'll be leaving. Sayanora." Backlion grinned as the two jumped away.
"Son of a bitch!" Ryu growled. Yza stood up, not in the best state. He gulped and tried to accept the fact this was happening.
"I'm going after them..." He said, Yza running out towards where Backlion jumped off.
"Yza, no!!" Serena shouted as Gavrail forced Serena up, and white wings grew out of her back. "Hey, Gavrail, not now!!" She started to fly in the air as Gavrail controlled Serena's movements. "Dammit, YOU FOUR, STAY PUT!!"
"Why?!" Shika shouted back angrily as Yza was now off.

"This'll be fun!!" Zeon clapped.
"The sun has set. The war has begun." Ayato said as he drank his orange juice.

(Play song in the media until the chapter ends)

Yza ran through the dense forest, as the darkness covered over it like a blanket. Tears filled his eyes as he hopelessly ran through it, trying to find Rukia.
"Don't do this too me... C'mon... Don't... Don't... DON'T!!! WHY MUST THIS PAIN MAKE ME SUFFER?!" He shouted in anger, as warm, blue tears streamed down his face as he stopped to find Backlion with Rukia sitting on a tree branch.
"Oh, that was quick." Backlion smiled.
"...w-what are you gonna do with her?!" Yza shouted. "She's my girlfriend you bastard!!"

Serena was fighting Spectral Duke Dragon, the scissors clashing against his scythe, the two at a back and forth in the sky.
"Dammit...!!" Serena shouted.

"Some vulgar language from such a pathetic excuse for a human." Backlion said as he spat down on Yza, it going in front of his shoes.
"SHUT UP DEMIZA, EXPLAIN!!"
"Hm, I'm not sure. But she's sure as hell not your girlfriend, that was a fake facade I asked her to perform to kill you. I mean, I killed Kaiko, so that was fine!!" Backlion cackled as Yza was struck again with pain.
"When... WHEN DID YOU KILL KAIKO?!" He shouted.
"At the hotel." Backlion grinned darkly.
"...you have no soul..." Yza said coldly. Rukia tugged on Backlion's shirt, as she whispered something in his ear.
"...if you say so then." Backlion replied. "C'mon Yza, whatcha gonna do?!"
"FUCK, YOU!!" Yza shouted as he grabbed a branch next to him, jumping up at Backlion and slamming it down on his face. "...h-how did I get up here?!"
"...no one hits my face... AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!!" Backlion shouted loudly, as Yza was blown back through the sky, as Ryu, Shika, Wyvon and Ayaza looked on helplessly at the flying Yza.

Landing on a cliff of grey rocks, Yza laid upright.
"...ugh... How did I survive that...? How did I jump so high...? What the fuck....?!" Backlion, carrying Rukia jumped over to Yza.
"YOu'rE aN eXCuSE fOR A HuMAN, NO, A PerSoN mORE LiKE IT!!" Backlion shouted as he stepped repeatedly on Yza's stomach.
"STOP!!" Yza cried out as Backlion then kicked his head, as he turned to face down.
"FUCK YOU!!" Backlion shouted as he kicked his head, flinging him to the edge.
"...you're a monster..." Yza said, tears going down his face, his voice ragged, and clothes tattered. His face had a few new cuts on it, and his hands were scratched and had cuts aswell.
"And you're nothing to me...!" Backlion said as he stomped on his back.

Meanwhile, Shika picked his rugby balls.
"I'm not standing around as Yza gets flung around like some puppet, and I'm not leaving Rukia behind! Together, us three are a group dammit!!" Shika shouted with anger, him running out. Ryu grabbed his wrist.
"I'm coming with you big guy. Together we're besties and besties fight!" He smirked as he picked up his dart packet.
"Me too!!" A drunk Wyvon shouted as he stood up, wasted. He picked his fireworks box.
"No don't do it!!" Ayaza exclaimed.
"Why shouldn't we?" Shika asked him. "Aren't you Yza's best friend?"
"Y-yes but..."
"Help him then!!"
"I..."
"Cowards like you... Are useless...." Shika mumbled as the group ran off.
"...I'm too scared... I don't wanna die... Dammit!!" Ayaza shouted.

"What...." "Do..." "You...." "Want....?!"
"YOUR DECK!!!" He continued to stomp.
"No way..." "In...." "Hell..." "Are..." "You gonna..." "Get it...!!"
"Piece of sh-" A rugby ball hit Backlion's head, as it barely grazed Rukia.
"Be careful! You nearly hit her!!" Ryu shouted at Shika.
"YOU THREE....!!" Backlion turned his head to the group.
"Yeah, its us big man!! Come at us fam!!" Ryu shouted as he picked his dart and threw it at Backlion, who moved slightly and dodged it.
"How pathetic," A firework zoomed his way and and exploded in his face, sparks flying at Backlion, who dropped Rukia to protect her. "...WHO SHOT THAT?!" He shouted angrily, his face burnt with sparks, skin an ashy grey.
"Me!!" Wyvon giggled like an idiot. Backlion jumped over at the three.
"NO DON'T HURT THEM!!" Yza shouted as Backlion looked at Wyvon, and kicked his arm and kicked his head, flinging him back at a tree, crashing him there and making him lay on the floor.
"..." Wyvon groaned. Backlion jumped over to Shika and struck his ribcage, flinging him back into a tree, Shika now upright at it.
"...dammit!!" Shika shouted in pain.
"NO DON'T!!!" Yza shouted as Ryu shot a dart towards Backlion, who cocked his head to the side and dodged it, the dart landing in front of Yza.
"And you..." Backlion grabbed Ryu by the throat and lifted him up.
"Gaaahk!!" Ryu choked.
"What does this feel like?" Backlion grinned darkly.
"Don't... Listen.... To... This... Guy... Yza..." Ryu choked.
"Silence!!" Backlion made the choke worse.
"...we'll... b-be... o-okay.... R-run... RU-UUN!!" Ryu shouted as Backlion gripped his throat.
"Don't kill him!! Don't!! DON'T!!" Yza shouted and pleaded.
Ayaza ran to the scene, in shock.

With all the strength left in Yza, the clan symbols for Stardust Knight and Shadow Paladin appeared on the palms of his hand, Stardust Knight on his left, Shadow Paladin on his right.
"Release... MY AVATAR!!!" Cards left Yza's hands, as they circled around him, them glowing white. Backlion smirked and dropped Ryu, and ran towards Yza.
"Yes, yes, yes!!" He cheered as Rukia was now standing up and watching them. Yza now had the cards in a collective deck.
"Here... It is." Yza said, giving up hope.
"Now cardfight me!!" Backlion shouted, him pulling out his deck and facing Yza, who now had widened eyes and looked up at Backlion.
"Let's fight." He mumbled.

Spectral Duke Dragon raised his scythe.
"I'll finish this now!!" He shouted, black energy swirling around the gold blade, as he flung it forward, the beam shooting towards Serena, who jumped out of the way. It hit the ground, causing smoke and dust to cover the air, and blocking her view.
"Aaah dammit!!" Serena coughed as Spectral flew towards Backlion. When the smoke cleared, Serena growled. "Sorry, Gavrail..."
"It's okay Serena. Let's go back to the others."

"Stardust Knight vs Gold Paladin... This'll be exhilarating." Backlion grinned darkly.
"I'm not happy about this you know..." Yza gulped as he was now set up.
"Now, stand up the vanguard!!" They exclaimed.
"Vault of the Stars, Iko!!" Yza shouted, vanguard circle expanding pastel blue.
"Black Dragon Whelp, Vortimer!!" Backlion replied, vanguard circle expanding gold.
"This should be easy, you're-" Yza's left leg buckled under him, causing him to shout in pain.
"Wow, that's sad." Backlion sniggered.
"Shut up..." Yza stood back up, a little shaky. "I'll start. Draw! I ride, First Starknight!! End..."

"Stand and draw. I ride, Black Dragon Descent, Vortimer." Backlion smiled.
"A new Vortimer? When was he included in a booster...?!" Yza asked, shocked.
"Fun fact: He isn't." Backlion grinned. "Meet the newest addition to Cray. Spectral Duke's new and exclusive support, owned by me!"
"...so it's a battle between exclusive cards?!"
"Correct." Backlion smiled. It was a cross between sinister and evil, yet at the same time was innocent and cute. "That being said... Skill of Descent. He counts as "Scout of Darkness", so Whelp's skill goes off. Checking the top seven cards of deck. Yup, a Spectral Duke Dragon. Adding him to my hand. Calling Kahedin and attack! (14000)"
"No guard! (Stardust Serpent)" Yza gritted his teeth.
"Turn end."

"Stand and draw! I ride Pleiades! Call Eclipse. Attack with Pleiades! (9000 > 14000)" Yza called.
"No guard." Backlion replied.

"Damage check. (Punishing Scythe, Vortimer)"
"Eclipse!! (8000)" Yza shouted.
"Guard with Azure! (7000 > 12000)"
"End turn..." He gritted his teeth in anger.

"My, my, you're overflowing with anger." Backlion smirked as he kept a cool gaze at Yza. "You're about to burst at any minute, aren't you? Please, calm down and enjoy this fight. I won't hurt you, I swear."
"Shut up you hypocrite! I thought we we're friends, but apparently you're the Void you scumbag! No wonder you don't have any parents!" Yza shouted. Backlion snapped for a mere second as he sucker punched Yza in the face, making Yza fall down. Breathing slowly, Backlion stared down at him.
"You never talk about my parents, you hear?" He said, the urge to break and kill Yza dripping from his tone.
"What's so bad about your parents, I mean, they don't exist right? You're the Void, the pinnacle of fucking evil." Yza stood up shakily.
"YOU FUCKTARD!!" Backlion shouted in anger.
"Heh, look whose angry now... No... We both hate each other. The anger that resides in us taints us, right?" Yza said as he gulped.
"Ride, Vortimer! I call Scout and use Kahedin's skill! Counterblast and retire Scout, checking the top card of the deck and superior call Hoel, and I draw! Since I have two rear-guards, I get to repeat this! I call another Kahedin and I draw one! With a boost from Kahedin, Hoel! (9000 > 16000)"
"No guard! (Ferocious Scout, Starbau)"
"Vanguard! (10000 > 17000)"
"No guard!"
"Drive check!! (Resurrection Witch, Blackmane Curser)" Backlion exclaimed.
"Damage check! (Stardust Hydra)"
"Turn end."
