Opening the apartment door, Ayaza entered his room.
"Well, here's my humble ho...me..." He looked hasty.
"Oh, you never told me you had a twin!" Aya said in surprise.
"Either we're seeing things or you forgot who he is." Ayaza sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"What was his name again?"
"Where's your Rabbit Mask, Ayato?" Ayaza glared at him.
"I was here to talk to you Ayaza. But first..." Ayato glanced at Aya. "I can kill two lovebirds with one knife."

Ayaza froze as he heard this sentence. Ayato ushered both of them into the room, and Aya and Ayaza were both watching him anxiously.
"What's his deal...?" Aya whispered to Ayaza.
"He's gonna try and kill you... since you have the Dimensional Paladins... I'll try to help you escape." Ayaza whispered back. However, Ayaza's reaction time was too slow, and Ayato fired a throwing knife straight at Aya, slashing through her right eye, with tears of crimson coming from where her eye was once was. The knife was lodged straight through her pupil and dug deep into her head. A scream of pain came from her, while she slowly pulled out the knife, staggering to the floor, and covered her bleeding eye.
"AYATO!" Ayaza shouted at him angrily. He looked down at Aya. "Damn it.. I failed!"
"Oh hush..." Ayato pulled out another throwing knife and threw it, piercing through Aya's other eye. Another painful scream came from the girl. Ayaza, frozen in fear, didn't know how to react. He bent down and picked up the bloodied knife, shaking for his life. He stood in front of Aya, shielding her.
"Ayaza, I can't see anything!" Aya sobbed. Blood, instead of warm tears, ran down her cheeks.
"Just stay there...!" Ayaza informed her as he tried to throw the knife at Ayato. It missed, and slammed into the wall.
"Move out of the way-!" Ayato jumped from his spot, and pushed Ayaza out of the way forcefully, with Aya's defender being thrown to the ground with ease.
"AYATO!" Ayaza screamed from the bottom of his lungs, jumping up and chasing after him.

With a swift movement, Ayato grabbed Aya's neck and started to choke her. Painful screams came from the girl, and Ayaza latched onto Ayato, trying to make him let go of her.
"LET GO OF HER AYATO! I SWEAR TO GOD!"
"How about you get off..." He grumbled, Ayato tightening his grip. "I can't believe I also have to kill her..."
Aya was choking with Ayato's grip on her, while pain from her not being able to see anything further strengthened.
"AYA, I'M SORRY!" Ayaza shouted in desperation, sobbing as he realised it was his fault this was happening to her. Trying anything he could, Ayaza tried to get Ayato into a strangle hold. With flustered hands, Ayaza grabbed Ayato's neck and he pushed his hands around them, trying to get revenge, or help Aya escape.
"Do you really think a weakling like you can stop me?" Ayato glared at Ayaza.
"No, but I can try... right?!" Ayaza weeped as he continued his despairing try to free Aya.
"No, you really can't...!" Ayato kicked Ayaza off like a horse, his right leg slamming into Ayaza's stomach.
"AYA!" Ayaza shouted as he was slammed into the ground. His voice made Aya perk her head up, ever so slightly. "I'M SO FUCKING SORRY!" He screamed in anger, his face going red. Aya smiled slightly, as Ayato got angered by this. Digging his nails in, he tightened the strangle, cutting off almost all circulation. Breathless, Ayaza looked at Aya's mutilated face, which was going a light shade of purple. "I'm sorry... that a loser like me, had tried to defend someone like you..." He whispered to himself, laying on the floor exhausted. A loud thud shook the ground.
"Seriously, that was such a pain..." Ayato spoke to himself, looking at Aya's body on the floor. He pulled out the knife through her left eye and put it in a plastic bag, before taking her FiCa as well. He then turned to Ayaza, who laid on the floor, drowned in sadness. "I'm surprised you didn't tell her your feelings before she died." Ayato snickered. "I bet you're gonna regret this for the rest of your life. Oh well. You'll soon join her in Hell, unless you want to do something for me."
Ayaza looked at Ayato weakly. "I don't care...if you want, just end my life...."
"I think father wouldn't be very happy if I ended your life."

Backlion looked at Kane and Tai. "It was a mistake bringing you two." He shook his head.
"What do you mean?" The twins asked simultaneously.
"You're too young... plus, you played your part in my plans. So, I shouldn't be holding you like this any longer. I would like for you two to leave."
"Eh? Why?" Tai asked.
"It's fun here!" Kane grinned.
"No... trust me. Leave, now. It's best if you don't involved in our final movements."
"Why? What's your plan?" Kane asked. Backlion shivered slightly.
"Void? Are you cold?" Tai looked at him.
"No... There's something even more scary then me, lurking alongside us. Your lives are too young, and I don't want them to be taken. Let the adults deal with this."
"Alright." The twins nodded. "Thank you, for this experience."
"You won't even remember it..." Backlion laughed at himself and freed the two of them being Яeversed.

"I'll spare your life if you become my scarecrow." Ayato looked at Ayaza. "Father's current plans could destroy everything, so I'm making a Rebellion."
"Rebellion?" Ayaza looked at him weirdly.
"Yes. And the "scarecrow"...needs to be the backstage director."
"What do you mean?"
"Ayaza. Did you know..."
Ayaza's face turned into surprise.
"...h-how...?!"
"You're the perfect scarecrow, for that one reason."
"..this is making my head spin. I can't believe it... I couldn't really be...?"
"Yes, you are. For my plan to work... I need you to go into hiding and fake your death. After that... meddle."
"Meddle?"
"Yes." Ayato looked at him seriously. He started to speak of his plans further to Ayaza.
"So... I just have to pretend I'm dead and do all of that?" Ayaza was shaking.
"Pretty much."
"I'll do it. If this'll help work against him, then I'll do it!"
Ayato grinned. "Thanks Ayaza."
"But... why did you kill her, if you're working against him?!"
"I didn't kill her. I made her near death. If you're quick enough to bring her to a hospital, she can still live."
"Alright." Ayaza looked down at Aya's body. "Fake my death and go into hiding?"
"Yes." Ayato put on his mask and looked at Ayaza. "You're the most vital part. I'm counting on you."
"Got it..." Ayato left the building, as Ayaza swallowed hard. "I gotta call an ambulance...."

"Sup Ryu!" Tari ran into his hospital room, bringing a lunchbox. Trio followed after her.
"Oh, hey." Ryu put down his manga. "You guy's visiting me again?"
"More like asking how long are you gonna stay cooped up in this hospital room." Trio dropped some notebooks on the table. "It's been nearly a week since you threw up and passed out."
"Don't worry, I'll be out of here soon... I just have a pretty bad concussion." Ryu laughed slightly.
"Damn, sorry to hear." Trio replied.
"Well, I made some lunch for you." Tari put the food on Ryu's table. "It's a sushi box."
"Ah, thanks! Hospital food blows."

Atsuko looked down at Ava, who laid on the floor, passed out. Her red marks faded.
"Oh thank Lord... you're no longer Яeversed..." Atsuko hugged her twin. "Let's put this behind us..."
Zeon was watching from afar, and sighed.
"What is happening now? This plan... makes no sense." He walked away from the scene.

"Ah, Inu!" Ryuzaki ran over to the boy. At the moment, Inu was cardfighting Shika.
"Hey Ryuzaki, worst time to come here, I'm fighting a Яeverse member!" Inu strode into Flare Arms, Ziegenburg. "Stride skill, retire Mecha Trainer!"
"Done." Shika replied in a deep, menacing voice.
"Kagerō versus Spike Brothers... well, Inu, you're gonna win." Maverick grinned.
"I hope so-!" Inu started calling cards down. "Alright, Ziegenburg attacks! (26000) Then, Blaze! Nadel's skill activates, and I countercharge one."
Shika looked at his damage zone. 3 cards laid there.
"No guard!"
"Triple Drive! (Dragon Knight, Ysaar, Dragon Knight, Nehalem, Dragon Knight, Jannat) Critical, everything to vanguard! (26000 > 31000/1★ > 2★)"
"Damage check. (Dudley Monty, Giant, Rising Great Star)"
"Ziegenburg skill! You have zero rear-guards, so all I need to do is counterblast one. Restand the Vanguard!" The vanguard circle expanded molten hot red, as Ziegenburg restood itself. "Attack! (31000/2★)"
"Generation Guard! King of Interference, Terrible Linus! Skill, flip a G Guard face up, and for every 2 empty rear-circles I have, add 10000 Shield! (26000 > 46000) That's a no pass."
"Drive check! (Dragon Knight, Jannat) Critical! Everything to Mbudi! (9000 > 14000/1★ > 2★) Now, boosted by Nadel, Mbudi attacks! Skill, counterblast one, and he gets 10k and I draw a card! (14000 > 24000 > 35000/2★)"
"...Guard with Silence Joker, Mayhem Tiger, Schemer and Heave Wheeze. (11000 > 36000)"
"My other Mbudi attacks! Skill! (9000 > 19000 > 26000)"
"No guard... C'mon Linsey!" Shika flipped the top card over. (Jelly Beans) "Damn it!..." Shika's red marks slowly faded, and his current vanguard, Villainous Giant, Rising Яeverse Star, was turning into dust. With wide eyes, Shika looked around. "Ugh... my head feels sick."
"Welcome back to the good side, Shika." Maverick grinned.
"Eh? Ichi, Maverick and Ryuzaki?"
"Inu!" Inu shouted.
"Same thing." Shika and Ryuzaki said simultaneously.
"Anyways, how did I end up here?" Shika shook his head.
"I was just waiting for these guys, when you saw me and challenged me to a Cardfight. By the way, you were Яeversed and I didn't know it, so once you rode that Яeverse Card, I got my A Game on asap." Inu explained.
"Crap, I was Яeversed?! Oh shit, I gotta unЯeverse things now!"
"Come with us first. We're tryna unЯeverse people too." Ryuzaki said.
"Actually... where's Payic?" Shika asked.
"Яeversed."
"That explains a lot... Well, I need to also bring back Rukia from the dark side for Yza... man, I have a hell of a lot on my plate."
"We can do that soon. Besides, we might even cross paths with them."

Ayaza stood in front of Rukia and Yza in an open grassy field.
"So, this was an unexpected crossing..." Ayaza mumbled.
"Ayaza..." Yza looked at him.
"Yza... Are we gonna go at it again?" Ayaza replied.
"I don't see why not... unless you want to join us?"
Ayaza grit his teeth.

"Under any conditions, no matter how dire the situation is, don't you dare try to fight a Яeverse fighter." Ayato looked at Ayaza sharply. "If you become Яeversed, our plans will be ruined."

"Yza! Rukia! I'll see you two another time, another day. I have no need to fight you two!"
"You have every reason too." Yza walked towards Ayaza.
"Stay away..." Ayaza backed off.
"Come on, join us. No harm will come from it, and you'd be working with superior players."
"No thanks." Ayaza grinned nervously. "I have better things to do then talk to you."
"So I guess you wanna Cardfight. Alright then, we can do that."
"Didn't bring my deck, soo.." Ayaza laughed nervously. "Later!"
"Then what's this?" Rukia took his deckbox.
"Hey, give that back!" Ayaza looked at Rukia.
"Ah... your the person Ayato was cloned from." Rukia looked through his deck. "I'll fight you."
"You gotta be joking me..."
"Actually." Yza smirked. "I'd like to fight him."
"Be my guest then." Rukia tossed Ayaza his deck back.
"You've gotta be joking me..." Ayaza looked around. "Let's just make a sprint for it..." Ayaza took a deep breath and legged it. "SEE YOU GUYS LATER!"
"Come back here!" Yza called out, running after him.

Backlion looked at the seven FiCas in front of him, and the pictures of each respective owner was under the FiCa, with a bold, red cross drawn on each one.
"The first piece. Izo Hiiro, the Ancient Flames. The second piece. Sanda Tsugeki, the Super Striker. The third piece. Kaiko Rimen, the World End. The fourth piece. Shouri Sakini, the Forbidden Chains. The fifth piece, Hiyori Takigawa, the Liliana. The sixth piece, Kyle Black, the Black Hole. The seventh piece, Aya Shinju, the Dimensional Paladin." Backlion listed them off. "There's only two more pieces left. The eight piece, Yza Blade, the Stardust Knight. And me, the ninth piece, Backlion Demiza, the Spectral Duke." He smirked. "All that's left is the Ritual. Then, the world shall be perfect." He laid back in his chair, looking at everything. "This will save humanity........"
