Pure white feathers now falling down upon me

Standing in the middle of an empty classroom, Yuuto lifts his head as white feathers start falling around him.

Me no mae no keshiki goto ubau prologue
The prologue takes it all, right down to the scenery before me

In front of him are all his classmates, with Yukina in front and the Takanori group just behind her, but as the feathers pass by, the scenery changes into a blank white room where Ryouta is standing alone on the other side with his back turned to Yuuto.

As Yuuto begins walking towards him, Ryouta looks at him over his shoulder.

Ryouta flashes a brief smirk, before turning around to face Yuuto fully.

Yuuto stops as Ryouta acknowledges him.

The two stand equidistant from one another, staring deep into each other's eyes.

Yuuto's dead expression doesn't change.

Ryouta's evergreen smile doesn't waver.

White feathers pile around them, and a bloodstained light from above covers both of them.

Child Ryouta stares emptily at the crashed car rolled over his parent's bodies, reaching his hand out to his mother's hand that's stuck out from under the vehicle.

Child Yuuto is standing at the doorway of his house, looking behind him into the hallway one last time before the hand of an old man pushes him into leaving.

At a dinner table, child Ryouta and Shiba are enjoying breakfast together, with Ryouta laughing happily while watching TV and Shiba smiling as he watches over him while reading a newspaper.

In the Underworld, child Yuuto lays curled up on the muddy floor clutching his stomach, his dirtied bangs casting shadow over his eyes empty and blood leaking from his temple, running down his bruised cheeks and right back into his cracked lips.

Child Ryouta stares up into the sunset, reaching his hand out to the stars that can be faintly seen in the emerging night sky.

Child Yuuto stares down on a mountain of bodies, releasing his blood soaked fist as a river of flesh flows between his two feet.

Child Ryouta and child Yuuto start walking forward simultaneously, growing up into their current day selves, and overlapping with one another, before separating as they enter GEN Academy side by side.

Yuuto walks forward alone, remembering Rukia and her gentle smile from the time they reunited with one another.

Then he remembers Yukina and her innocent smile from the times they read books together.
