I the the theme song it say's that the Flintstone's live in a modern stone age. It wouldn't have said MODERN if it was million's of year's ago.

Also, dinosaur's did not live in the same time as cavemen. But the dino's show sign's of intelligence.

The show aired around the high of the cold war. So the Solvent's probably went to war with America, and almost destroyed mankind. This is why everyone has record player's used by bird's, dinosaur powered factories, money, and celibate Christmas!!! They are just rebuilding what once was!!!!
