Cat Zombie felt ashamed of his behavior. Perhaps the town was better off without him in it.

   He was nothing but trouble. He hated this being part of the undead.

    He sighed as he finished yet another bacon slice.

       He went across town and slept on the roof of the bakery. He missed Marinette and being alive so he could spend time with her.

      Agh, why had this happened to him?

       He shook his head. He had already gone through this a dozen times.

        He and Ladybug had solved his death together and he had vanished. He ceased to exist, so why had he suddenly reappeared?

        He saw that Marinette was rarely home.

         He felt sad that she mostly lived far away from everyone else.

        Is that why?   Was there some other reason he did not know about that kept him here?

             Plagg appeared.

        "Boy, what you doing?"

      "Wondering, why did I come back?  Ladybug and I already found out who killed me or was that a dream?"

         "Yes, you did."

        "Then, how am I even here?"

          "Kid, I am not sure. It seems you just reappeared at random. It is almost as if the fandom could not let you go."

      "The fandom?"

     "Yes, the Miraculous fandom, they missed you while you were away."

       "So, it is their fault I am here."

     "Yes, it appears to be the fandom that brought you back."

        "Marinette never did find a new Chat."

       "she didn't ?"

      "No, your death ruined her. She loved you so much."

     "I know this already Plagg because I loved her too."

       Cat zombie/Adrien felt sadder than he had the first time he showed up as a zombie.

         He went away for good after the last time or so he thought.  He never felt like he truly stopped being around. He was not in Paris until a few months ago when this mysterious group Plagg calls the Miraculous fandom missed him.

             He had fun this time around messing around, but at the same time, he hated Marinette's new home. She lived in the insane asylum and only visited the bakery on rare occasions.

            He had no clues as to how to heal her broken heart since he died and came back as a cat zombie two different times.

    "I would have brought you back, but if I did that someone else would swap your fate. Another person would be a zombie if you became a real person again."

        "Oh, that is why you did not let Ladybug use the wish for me the moment I passed away. "

       "Well, yes, but it was mostly, Tikki who stopped her."

      "She knew Marinette would not be able to live with the guilt if someone else became a zombie and Chat Noir suddenly became alive again."

           "I see. So, I have to remain a part of a tragic story or stories while Marinette remains a crazy person."

           "Yes, that is the way it is."

          "That hardly seems fair. Well, life isn't always fair, Adrien."

           Plagg went to speak to the fans but changed to person mode again. He knew they could not see him as a kwami.

       "Hey, Miraculous Fandom."

      "Hey, what is up?"

       "Look, Chat Noir is gone so stop wishing him back. He can only return as a zombie and he has suffered enough." 

     The fandom gasped. They never knew how much their beloved Chat Noir suffered.

    They did not want that for him.

     It was time they let him go.
