Catra found herself, once again, sitting on the sill of her window gazing out at the kingdom, lost in her thoughts. Today was the day everyone called, what was it again? Oh yeah, Christmas. As many would have guessed, Catra never experienced such things, especially happy celebrations like this. "Hey, wildcat", Caya, her wild and optimistic sister said as she burst through the doors with Patch and Faye following close behind with smiles on their faces, and presents in their hands. "Hey guys, what are those for?" The pair behind Caya looked as if Catra had committed the greatest of sins, "What do you mean what  are these for?!" Faye went on to completely lecture Catra on what this time of year was all about, how the people of Cetreon would gather at the center of the city and eat a great feast, "now that our long lost princess has returned, no doubt will this one be the biggest and the most festive celebration in history!" Catra was slightly intrigued but at the same time, she felt as the whole thing was a big waste, especially if it would be held in her honor. "Come one wildcat", Patch said as she yanked Catra out her room and dragged her down the hall. "We've got a big day ahead of us."

As they exited the castle, she thought she saw something move in the shadows, bit choked it up her being a little excited and sleep-deprived.

Saying Catra was astonished was an understatement. She couldn't quite express her feelings in words, but if she had to express how she felt I suppose she would say she was felt like a kid waking up on Christmas morning. Whatever that meant. "See? Didn't I tell you? This year's festival IS the largest and most festive!" Faye jumped around from booth to booth, buying random stuff such as food, toys, and games where she won more toys and prizes. It was all so overwhelming, nothing had ever been so cheerful and full of color and laughter, Caya seemed to enjoy this a whole lot more than anyone else in the village, Patch wasn't as excited. She claimed that she had seen it more than enough times, "I mean, yeah sure, the festival is nice and all. Maybe, I want something more exciting than some festival for one day out of the entire year." Of course, this started an argument between Patch and the red-furred feline.

Catra and Caya decided to find something to eat in order to calm the rising tension between the pair. While they walked, Caya decided it was the perfect opportunity to make her sister squeal. "So, Cat", she asked innocently. "Who do you have a crush?" Catra practically choked on some fish on a stick she got from one of the kiosks around them, "Oh god I hate you. I really do." Caya smiled triumphantly before getting her sister some water. "Yeah, I know. But be honest, who is it?" Catra's face went ablaze, what would she? 'Oh, I like the two girls I met literally last month. How's D been, by the way?' NO! Nothing her sister would say would make her give in.

"Tell me, or I'll tell daddy." Except that. With a heavy sigh, she caved. "If we're being honest, I don't know. I know I like Faye because she's nice and she's so awesome, did you see how she nearly beat the white fur off Purrsia with a wrench, the other day." That earned a soft laugh from the Magicat behind her, "But Patch is just so hardcore. She doesn't care what people say about her, I can relate to her on a personal level, and she's super cute." She paused and looked down, "What do I do? Who do I choose?"

Sorry it took me so long, I've been going to therapy and I've been in recovery for a while. I didn't want to leave you guys hanging and make you guys upset with me, but I will be taking a break from writing for a while. Thank you guys for being there for me and showing such amazing support I wish all of you a wonderful new year (even though it's not new years yet) and I hope you all have many more from here on out. Goodbye.
