It's been a few days since you met Tori, and you had to say that you have grown quite fond of your new goat mom. The past few days you have been training in monster knowledge and battle, mainly the basics you would need to know. You found out that you didn't really have powers, just a monster form, and that you would have to learn to fight with weapons instead. Luckily Tori had an old knife that she had given you as your weapon, the knife had a black handle that you carved a skull into. You learned how to dodge attacks and fight with a close range weapon, but the best thing you learned was that in this world it's kill or be killed, and you weren't ready to die.
Tori stood in front of you with a serious look on her face, her eyes narrowed as she examined you closely, and for the first time you felt nervous. "What do you do if a monster has you pinned to the ground?" she questioned, you gulped and thought up the answer quickly. "If they are close to me I knock their feet out from under them! If they aren't but my knife is then I throw my knife at them!" you answered proudly and spun your knife around arrogantly. Toriel nodded approvingly, "What do you do if a monster sees you without your horns and tail?" she asked another question, this one caught you of guard since she never really told you what to do. "I would have to k-kill them... No one can know I'm part human." you stuttered, but Tori nodded her approval before asking a few more questions that you got right.  After that pop quiz was a sparing match against Tori, which you of course won since you have been training so hard.

*Short time skip*

Tori sat down at the small wooden table with you, the stew she had cooked for dinner sitting in the middle of the table probably cold. She sighed, "You are eager to leave, my child?" she asked without looking at you. It pained you to admit it, but yes, you wanted to see what was out there beyond the gates, to meet all the monsters your family had mentioned in their stories. You nodded, "Yes Tori. I'm very sorry." you sniffled, warm tears ran down your cheeks as Tori walked over to you and pulled you into a loving embrace. "Do not be sorry dear. I have known this moment to come. It has happened before, but now it is your turn to go. I have already packed your clothes, they are waiting by the gates for you." she tried to hold back her own tears as she looked at you and wiped your tears. You let out a shaky breath and hugged her tighter, "Thank you Tori. For everything." you said quietly. After a few minutes of hugging, you pulled away and sniffled, Tori nodded and motioned to the stairs. You stood up from where you sat at the table, with a deep breath you walked towards the stairs, taking one last look at Tori before waving goodbye and walking down the stairs.
The hallway was dark and creepy, but the giant gates that lay ahead of you looked promising. You didn't stop walking until you got the the gates, picking up your one suit case you shoved open the doors and walked outside. Instantly a fast, cold wind threatened to blow you off your feet and give you frost bite as well. You quickly zipped up your black fleece lined jacket, and before you could even let out a breath the doors closed behind you. The world was all white; snow covered the ground up to your ankles and still fell, trees lined each side if the path giving off a scary vibe as you started walking forward. The snow crunched under your feet, the wind slightly blowing you to the left as you slowly continued to walk forward. After what felt like you walked a mile, and your hands starting to get cold, you found yourself at a bridge. Before you could take a step forward you heard something behind you, and as quick as a flash you drew your knife and spun around at your opponent. "Whoa easy there kid." the monster spoke, he pointed to your knife and you slowly lowered it. He let out a breath of relief, and you examined him for a moment. He was a skeleton, with sharp teeth(one gold), a black jacket, red shirt, black shorts with yellow stripes, and sneakers. You gave him a puzzled look and he returned it with an annoyed one. "What's your name sweetheart?" he asked with a tone that told you he didn't really care, "(Y/n)." you simply said. You crossed your arms and gave him your 'death glare', but it didn't faze him in the least. He scoffed, "I'm Sans. Sans the skeleton." he introduced himself, not even speaking for a few minutes afterwards. You started to get upset that he was just standing there so you twirled your knife in your hand to get his attention. "Listen. If you are just going to stand there and not say a word I'm going to start a fight. I'm not going to freeze to death out here just because you are being so ignorant!" you rose your voice and taking a step closer to Sans you held your knife at his 'throat'. He looked surprised for a second, but that soon changed and a smug look replaced it. You felt something sharp poke your back, when you looked over your shoulder you saw a sharp bone aiming at you. Sans chuckled, it amused you how he could have so much fun threatening someone he just met. "Better watch ya back (y/n)." he glared at you, leaving you no choice but to back off, that's what you did. When you took the step back Sans used this moment to disappear, in one swift blur he was gone. You frantically looked around in confusion, your guard as high as the moon as you spun on your feet looking for the skeleton. You sighed, knowing he had some how vanished, and that you wouldn't be able to test out your fighting skills. But there was something about this skeleton that you just couldn't stop thinking about, maybe it was how he acted or how he looked at you strangely. Whatever the matter was, you knew you would be seeing him again, only time would tell now.

Okay! Shorter than the last chapter but I take pride in this. Hope you like it and comment whatever you think.... Bye!
