CJ's P.O.V

I looked at Harry in a panic, wondering how the hell Faith had heard so much about relationships and she's only six. Damn, kids really were learning more nasty things earlier.

"Do it!" Faith challenged, crossing her arms over her chest.

Harry turned towards me and I could tell by the way he was turning that he was actually planning to do it. Oh hell no.

"Harry!" I hissed, pinching his arm.

"Ow!" Harry yelped, rubbing his arm. "What was that for?"

"We need to have a quick discussion," I snapped, pulling him away from Faith, calling over my shoulder, "Faith, Daddy and I just need to talk for a while!" I left Faith sitting there and turned to face Harry, who had sat on the couch. "What were you doing?" I shouted at him.

"What?" Harry defended himself. "I wasn't about to let Faith think that her parents don't love each other. That was the only way we could prove it!"

"We don't need to prove anything!" I hissed. "Because we can't lie to her forever! We don't love each other; we can barely stand each other!"

"Oh really?" Harry challenged. "Then what's this?"

I squinted at his phone screen as he held it up to me. I bit my lip when I saw the picture of me basically lying on top of Harry, my head on his shoulder and my arms around his waist. Harry was holding me tightly, it looked like.

"How was this taken?" I croaked.

"Faith knows how to use my phone," Harry shrugged.

"Delete it," I demanded.

"No," Harry countered. "I like it."

"Well I don't," I said flatly. "Delete it."

"You know what I think?" Harry said, standing up now. "I think that you only want me to delete it because you're ashamed that you might actually like me."

"That's not true!" I said hotly. "We can't stand each other; we hate each other!"

"It didn't seem like that last night, when you were cuddled up to me," Harry contradicted me.

"That was a one-time thing!" I exclaimed. "It won't happen again!"

"And why's that?" Harry yelled. "Why do you hate me so much?"

"Because you're annoying!" I yelled back.

"No I'm not!" Harry bellowed. "I don't get it; we were having fun last night! And today..." Harry trailed off, his voice getting softer. "Today I thought we were getting along just fine."

I laughed sardonically, sounding quite mad. "Really? Us getting along? We don't get along!"

"But we can!" Harry insisted.

"No we can't!" I exclaimed. "We can't get along, we don't like each other!"

Harry growled in frustration, running a hand through his hair, looking around the room in anger. "God, you're so stupid," he muttered.

"Oh, I'm stupid?" I laughed, even though there was nothing funny about the situation. "How am I stupid?"

"Because you refuse to like me at all!" Harry yelled. "You won't even give me a chance!"

"I did!" I shouted back at him. "I tried!"

"Really?" Harry asked sarcastically. "'Cause I can really see your effort!"

"I did, in the beginning!" I yelled, trying to get my point across. "Even though you're pick-up lines were annoying as hell!"

"See!" Harry pointed at me. "See that? From the minute I opened my mouth, you disliked me! I didn't even do anything to you!"

"Then just keep your mouth shut and we'll be fine!" I exclaimed.

"See, that's why we don't get along!" Harry said. "All you do is tell me to shut up and stay away from Faith, even though she thinks I'm her Daddy, and you ignore me as much as possible!"

"And I like it that way!" I shouted back at him.

"I don't!" Harry exclaimed. "I came from a family where my dad wasn't around, it sucked! I hated it! All I wanted was a dad, even though my mum was great! Now I have a stepdad, and I love him! He's great!"

"I don't need to hear your sob story," I snapped. "I'm so over this."

"You're over this?" Harry laughed sarcastically. "No, CJ, I'm over this. I'm over you yelling at me. I'm over you telling me to get away from Faith. I'm over you trying to rule my life. I don't even know what I did to you! I didn't do anything to you, and you hate me!"

"Liar!" I shouted at him. "You know exactly what you did!"

"What did I do?" Harry demanded.

"You know what you did," I accused him, pointing a finger at him. "You know exactly what you did."

"No I don't," Harry said his voice soft now, stepping closer to me. "I don't know what I did and maybe if you told me, we could get through this."

"'Get through this,' he says," I said bitterly. "Like we're a couple going through some problems."

"We kind of are," Harry said softly.

"We're not a couple," I told him firmly.

"But what did I do?" Harry asked, looking clueless.

In that moment, I hated him. I hated every fiber of his being. Him, who looked so perfect even in the early a.m. Him, who took better care of my daughter that I thought I could, him, who had a nice, fancy, new apartment. Him, who stood there looking so innocent all the time.

I moved towards the door, grabbing my stuff, getting ready to leave.

"So now you're running?" Harry yelled. "What the hell did I ever do to you?"

I whirled around at the door, opening my mouth to yell one more time. "You left!"

Harry's P.O.V

I stood in shock as CJ just left. How was I supposed to know that she didn't like the fact that I left? I thought she hated my guts and would be happy to see me gone. As I turned towards the kitchen, ready to take care of Faith, I felt even worse, because I was about to leave her again.

Whoa consecutive updates on CD Girl, I'm proud of myself! This probably only happened because I had a cliffhanger, but yano, whatever. I think I enjoyed writing them fighting more that I should, and that foreshadowing 'do, what do you think is going to happen? Bye!

Love ya!
