Tauriel stood behind the King. I bowed along with my sons and Legolas nodded his head. Thranduil looked at me and said coolly
"I have heard that one of your children was kidnapped by orcs. Such folly." He sat down and watched me. I placed a firm hand on Oropher's shaking shoulders. He was just like me. He had a quick temper and could lose it in the blink of an eye. He was shaking with rage. I didn't speak, for my words would not be wise. I just bowed and brushed past Tauriel with Oropher following me.

We sat together on a wooden bench and I played with the sword bracelet on my wrist; the magic sword bracelet. Oropher was hugging his knees and I could see tears marks on his cheeks.
"Oropher, do you know what Anná means?" He shook his head, his silver blonde hair flowing down his back and his ice blue eyes smart with tears.
"No Natha. I do not."
"Anná means gift. She was the first daughter of our house." Oropher smiled and leaned his head on my shoulder.
"Oropher, we will get your sister back. But first we need a king's help." Oropher looked up, eyes filled with hope.
"Grandfather will not help."
"No he will not. But the king of Gondor will help. He was like my uncle." I hugged Oropher and we walked back to the house.

I pushed the door open to find Legolas and Thranduil arguing. I gently touched Legolas's shoulder and said softly
"I am riding to the White City with Oropher. I will ask Aragorn for help." He kissed my lips gently and whispered
"Be safe. I will meet you there." I raced to our room and threw in some clothes and strapped my daggers to my back and my quiver. Oropher was waiting for me outside by the horses he has saddled. Celebrim ran out and called
"Natha!" I turned around, just in time to catch him as he jumped into my arms.
"Stay with Ada. Don't leave his side, do you understand?" He nodded and I kissed his warm brow.
"I love you.... Now go!" He ran back to the house and we started in the journey to Gondor and the White City.

Oropher rode next to me for a long time. Then he finally asked the question I had been waiting for.
"Natha, may I gallop ahead?" I smiled.
"Let us race each other. Go!" I shouted with delight as my horse galloped ahead.

The wind blew my hair out of my face and smartened my eyes, making them water. But my laugh was carried into the wind as I saw the flash of silver. Water, a river ahead. I didn't stop. The horse went in with a splash and air covered me. Then I reached the surface, gasping for air and the horse swam strongly ashore. Oropher came after with a girl scream. Then his silver head appeared above the water. His head was dripping with diamonds of water and he was laughing.

"What a girly scream, Oropher!" I exclaimed. He grinned then his face turned to horror. I turned around to face a man riding on a brown horse with a golden crown on his head. Next him rode a mirror image of himself, but younger.
"Uncle Aragorn!"
