Hey everyone. It's me again. Sorry that this one's late. I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with this chapter. Anyways, I hope you guys like it. Now, enjoy the show.

When Saphira is talking in thought: 'eragon'

When they are talking in thought: ' '

After the training in the courtyard, Eragon and Arya took Sansa indoors to the library so they could continue her training. Eragon decided that it was time to teach Sansa about magic and what she can do down the line. But more importantly, they decided to teach her the Ancient Language, the source of what will help her control magic.

Which is why they chose the library, a place that is perfect for one to study the ancient language. As Arya was telling Sansa about the importance of learning the Ancient Language, Eragon couldn't help but feel nostalgic. He, who is young and still learning to be a Dragon Rider, is now teaching a new Dragon Rider left him reminiscing about the past.

He remembered when his now known father Bring taught him the rudimentary ways of magic and how to fight when they left Carvahall to chase down the Ra'zac. Another memory appeared where he first met his half-brother Murtagh and the adventures that began with him. He remember the battle of Farthen Dûr where he defeated the shade Durza. He also remember when he met his new teachers Oromis and Glaedr in Ellesméra, the capital of the Elves.

He slightly smiled at the memories as he turned his attention back towards Sansa, who he realized was taking everything in like water to a sponge. He raised his hand for Arya to stop, letting her know that he'll take over for a second. It was important that he mention a few important details that he himself knew that she needed to know more than anything else.

"Sansa, before you can finally learn more about magic and the Ancient Language, you not only need to know about the fundamentals of the very subject of magic, but the dangers of what you can cause if you don't do or word it correctly. Like with your lessons with Maester Luwin when he taught you how to read and write, you must learn nouns and pronouns as well as verbs and abverbs in the Ancient Language."

He stopped for a second before taking out a piece of paper and began writing several words in the Ancient Language, as well what they mean. Arya looked down as she saw some of what he was writing, her eyes widening as she realized what he meant from what he said. 'Eragon, now I know why you are mentioning this.' He looked at her and nodded as he heard her thoughts. She then sent another thought to him. 'Are you gonna tell her?' He nodded as he stopped writing and pushed it in front of Sansa.

Sansa then looked over at what was on the piece of paper. In large letters there were words such as brisingr and istalri as well as words as jierda and slytha. But the biggest words are skölir and Sköliro as well just the letter O. She then looked at him as her attention returned to him.

"Some words can be used in an actionable way while some are used to describe something. Jierda means to break or hit something, when slytha means to sleep or put something to sleep. Then there are some words that mean the same thing. Such as brisingr and istalri, which both mean fire."

He stopped as Arya decided to drop an important fact. "Eragon is correct. However, you must word what you meant to do or say very carefully and fully. Otherwise, you could do something very different than what you meant to do or say."

She then motion for the big words of Skölir and Sköliro. "Take this for example. Skölir means shield in the ancient language, while Sköliro means shielded. In the Ancient Language, the difference is resounding, as they both do very different things." She sighed as she looked at Eragon. "Eragon found that out the hard way."

Sansa looked at Eragon as he also sighed in response. She knew that what he was about to say isn't going to be good at all. "Unfortunately, Arya is right. I didn't know the difference when I first used the spell. My ignorance caused someone to suffer because of it." He stopped as he stepped away and turned around. He sighed very deeply before he spoke.

"When I first arrived at Tronjheim in the Mountain of Farthen Dûr, I was looked upon as a beacon of hope. As such, the people of the Varden seemed out favors or wanted blessings or, especially for magic users, my knowledge. During one the times, I did something that I will always regret." He looked down as he spoke. "A woman with a small bundle grabbed my, stopping me from going somewhere with my friend/brother Orik. She looked at me and begged me to bless a newborn baby. I was looked upon, being judge to see what I would do. I've decided to give the girl a blessing, even though I unknowingly cursed the girl instead."

He heard a gasp as he looked at Sansa as she had a look of horror as she realized what he was talking about. He sighed as he continued. "I used Skölir, thinking it meant to be shielded. I wanted her to be shielded from harm. Unfortunately, I unknowingly made her a shield from harm. Instead of being shielded from harm, she would be a shield from harm. Because of it, she grew much faster than normal. In a matter of months, she looked liked a five year old. She felt whenever someone was in pain or when someone was dying, the blessings compelled her to try and help them. She was shunned because of it."

He closed his eyes as he felt Arya place a hand on his shoulder. "I tried to remove the blessing from her, only to fail in the end. She'll forever will be cursed with my blessing, but at least she won't be compelled to act on it anymore." He felt slightly small arms wrap around him. He turned his head and saw that Sansa was trying to comfort him. She knew that this caused him pain and she felt that she needed to try and help in anyway she could.

He turned around and smiled at her. "Thank you for that. It helps me greatly." She smiled at him as she backed away. Arya smiled slightly as she noticed the look in Sansa's eyes. 'He has no idea what he has done. This will be interesting.' She stepped towards them, causing Sansa to look at her. "That is why we are taking your lessons very seriously. So you don't make the same mistakes that many others before you have made."

Sansa nodded, a very serious look on her face. "Yes. I will strive to learn and understand everything about the Ancient Language. I will do the best I can. Hopefully I won't make any mistakes." Eragon smiled as he nodded. "We know you will. Still, everyone makes mistakes. That's why we are here. To help you." She nodded as she sat back down. Eragon then looked at papers again.

"Now, shall we continue on with the lesson?"

And that's that. Finally, this chapter is done. This one was slightly tricky to write. Well, hope you like it. The next one will be up as soon as possible. Until next time. :)-weeksjmj
