So... I want to tell you something.
Poetry has always been a part of my life since I went to St. Petersburg at nine years old. Of course, I didn't know it at that time and got extremely bored while reading poems, but in middle school I got very inspired by my English teacher, who made us write poems at lessons and as homework. Although my first poems as a ten-year-old were mostly about libraries and watermelons, my passion for writing grew stronger and stronger sonI found myself working on my first unfinished novel - Lenny Crelt. It was a copy of "Harry Potter".
However, when I changed schools, I tried something new for a change - chess. Soon, I was sucked in this whirlwind of chess tournaments and YouTube chess livestreams...Friends that played chess just like me. Yet as I continued to play, I completely stopped writing, and "Lenny Crelt" was all forgotten.
Through tournaments, criticism, losing friends and meeting new people, I understood one thing; I love writing. It helped me get through many things and emotions, and I sincerely thank Paulo Coelho for inspiring me with his brilliant book - "The Alchemist".
Even though you may not feel worthy at times, or you may not believe in your abilities - you are always worthy. You can always get up, after you have been knocked down. You can do this!!
Best wishes,
Isa.
