Guess Who's Back

IT was cold, like freeze your balls off cold. With a glare I looked to Alexius who only gave a cocky grin in return. In a haste, I used my grace to pinpoint an exact location and time we were in.

Santa Cruz, Argentina.
1997.

I was already cold enough, considering it was Alexius who transported us, and god knows when he transports it's like being dropped into the Arctic Ocean. Now, I need to deal with that plus being in cold Argentina? No thank you.

Looking around, I noticed a large forest covered in snow behind where we stood, and in front of us a small quaint village of sorts. It was apparent that the village was by no means wealthy as people lived in huts and were cooking their meals outside with tiny campfires.

"Alexius..." I trailed off slowly, eyeing the obviously religious people who cooked by the campfires. Each person was dressed in fur clothing, and their hygiene was not top-notch. "Why are we here?" The question rolled off my tongue, as I caught the sight of little kids running around singing to each other in Spanish.

Alexius flapped the collar of his jacket, placing his hands on his hip in an overly-excited fashion. "To get a wand, of course!" He began trudging forward through the little town.

"And we couldn't go to Ollivanders, why?" I deadpanned walking with him, pulling my leather jacket closer—boots crunching in the snow.

"Do you actually think Ollivanders will have a wand for an Antichrist?" He rhetorically snickered.

I scowled looking at him. "Chances are they won't have one here either, I bet they don't even make wands for Antichrist! They sure as hell don't for Nephilim." We walked some more, the snow cold on our shoulders.

Alexius turned to me with a 'really' expression. "Okay, that's non-comparable; Nephilim are much more powerful and rare than Antichrist. Especially a Nephilim like you." He accusingly pointed to me, making me give him an offended look.

"What is that suppose to mean?" I questioned, ready to hit him for his insolent comments.

"It means," Alexius turned to me in a sassy manner, lips pursed. "That there has only ever been one Nephilim of an archangel to exist, and that's you. Even if they did make Nephilim wands, it certainly wouldn't work for you; considering your powers are at such a high-caliber." I understood what he was saying, and only crossed my arms pouting at the cold.

"Why don't you just let me transfer a sword into a wand for you?" I asked in a slightly whiny voice, ready to leave.

Alexius sarcastically laughed. "Not everyone wants a fake wand, Pandora. Besides you can get away with it, because you can do all the spells with your head and point your wand to make it look as if it's the wand. I can't do that." Alexius reasoned, making me shut up knowing it to be true.

"Why here though? How do you know that this wand-maker has a wand that'll work for you?" My eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"Look around," He motioned to the people around us, who stares bore into our figures. "All these people are religious warlocks and witches. If anyone is going to have it, it'll be this guy." Our conversation ended there, me too keen on letting my eyes wander around to bother with talking.

People looked upon us as we walked through the village, their gazes boring into our very being. Most looked at us with awe, it was obvious they sensed the sort of holy and demonic vibes we gave off. Technically speaking, wizards and witches magic came from hell. Technically. However, most didn't worship hell or anything like that; it was just a tie they had to Lucifer and his demons.

As we pass by a small church, I reveled in the Holy energy it gave way; eating it up relishing the feeling. You see, as odd as it was church was a sort of safe haven for me and any other Holy being. Church was a place that served as a sanctuary and also a home of sorts. Anytime either Balthazar were in a house of God, we overrun with the feeling of relaxation and peace. According to Balthazar it was like small extension of what Heaven was.

I saw we were coming up to an actual house, making me sigh in relief at the warmth which hopefully resided inside. House wasn't the term I should use, cottage or cabin was a more accurate definition.

The cabin wasn't very big; however, it was majorly bigger than the huts. Smoke came from the chimney up top, leading me to believe there was in fact warmth inside. Alexius quickly knocked on the door, me shifting foot-to-foot hoping someone would answer quickly.

The heavy oak door creaked, a man's head poking out. The man must have been in his late thirties, early forties as his long untamed hair was graying. The door swung open more, revealing a tall broad man covered in fur clothing. He had a beard which was braided down, and olive colored skin.

"Yes?" His voice came in a thick-accent as he looked to the two of us suspiciously.

Alexius got a serious look upon his face, as he took a small step closer to the man. The man with long hair rose a threatening brow, misunderstanding Alexius's intentions. Alexius said nothing, but looked to the man silently. Then, in an instant his eyes had gone completely black—not an inch of white or brown to be seen. As a rebound effect from him, my own irises turned golden—a natural defense mechanism the both of us had. If either of us changed our eye color to it's natural state, then the others eye would automatically change too.

The man's gaze lit up in understanding, as he suddenly held the door open wider; motioning us inside with a suddenly friendly smile. "Come in! Come in!" He exclaimed, Alexius's eyes turning back to normal, mine following in suit as he walked inside the warm cottage.

I was right after, savoring the feeling of warmth the homely cabin gave off. The large man gave way a jolly smile, sitting on a chair by the fireplace. He motioned us to sit on the couch across from him, the both of us wasting no time in sitting down.

"Now, may I assume that you are an Antichrist," He pointed to Alexius with a raised brow, Alexius nodding in return. "And you..." He trailed off, eyes alight with wonder. "Are a Nephilim." He said, albeit hesitantly.

I nodded slowly back, unsure if I should trust this man. A grin lit up his features, as he shook his head in amazement. "Wow," His accented voice boomed. "I knew you had to be something Angelic when I saw those golden irises, though usually a Nephilim's irises would be a dim grayish color." The man scratched his head in confusion.

It was true. Any normal angel has glowing blue, almost white eyes when they allow their grace to shine through. Therefore any Nephilim offspring a normal angel may have, their eye color would be dim and grayish.

However, because Gabriel the archangel is my father, my eyes turned out to be golden alike to his own—showing I wasn't just any normal Nephilim.

"Who is your parent?" The man suddenly perked, ready to hear this. "Jophiel, Adriel, or maybe Raziel." He began listing off names of angels that were stated in the lore, and while most of these names were actual angels—none of them were my father.

I hummed shaking my head no, making him take on a pondering look. "Try, Gabriel." The second the name left my mouth, the man was on his knees bowing down to me.

"An archangel Nephilim! I have never heard of such an occurrence, the power you must hold! You are practically royalty, I am at your service, my lady!" He was kissing my feet, crying out dramatically making me flinch.

"What the fuck? No." I jumped to a standing position getting away from him, as he to stood up watching me curiously. "I am not royalty or anything like that, in fact according to Heaven and Hell; I don't even exist and I would like to keep it that way. So if you please would not mention any word about this incident." I begged him, him nodding eagerly obviously excited to please me.

"Of course!" I glared at Alexius who was snickering out of the corner of my eye. "Oh, how rude of me, my name is Sergio Navarro; the Santa Cruz wand-dealer." He looked to us, a twinkle in his eye.

"Hello Sergio, I am Alexius." Alexius stood, shaking hands with the man who went by the name Sergio. "And that Nephilim over there is my sister Pandora." He tilted his head in confusion as he shook Alexius's hand.

Catching onto his thoughts, I explained. "Not by blood. We're just such close of friends that we're practically brother and sister." I shook hands with him as soon as he was done with Alexius.

Sergio chuckled looking at the two of us side-by-side. "Hmph, a Nephilim and Antichrist friends? Never thought I would see the day." He laughed, waving it off. "Anyway, I know you're here for a reason, so what may I do for you today?" He questioned, a goofy smile placed upon his lips.

"I need a wand, and you are the only one I could think of who would have one powerful enough for the likes of me to wield it." Alexius stepped forward, causing a shimmer in Sergio's eye.

"Of course, I think I may have something for you." He stated thoughtfully before turning to me with a slightly sad look. "I unfortunately have nothing for you little Nephilim. I don't even have a wand a normal Nephilim would be able to wield, let alone one so powerful as yourself." I waved him off, taking what he said as a compliment.

"No worries, I wasn't here for one anyway." He gave me a kind of guilty smile, before disappearing to the back room.

Alexius immediately turned to me after he was gone, giving me a twisted smile. "So, royalty aye?" I slapped him upside the head scoffing.

"Fuck you." My middle finger was in his face, something he slapped out of the way.

"Bitch get that out my face." He scowled, making me smirk.

Looking around, I admired the many paintings Sergio had hanging on his wooden walls. It was merely minutes we were left alone, before Sergio came strolling back in a few boxes held within his arms.

It was silent as Sergio took the first wand from the box. The wood was light brown, and the handle was covered in small markings I recognized as demonic symbols.

"Nine-inches, and very light. It's made with Holly-wood and the core is Kelpie hair, very old at least seventy or so years. Very powerful, with demonic markings, made for an extremely strong wielder." He placed the wand delicately in Alexius's hands.

Alexius held it with an excited grin for a few moments before it vanished. He furrowed his brows, looking to Sergio. "Well, give it a swish." Alexius did as told, flicking the wand.

When nothing happened, Alexius let our a disappointed sigh. My eyes widened when a cracking was heard and the wand suddenly split down the middle falling to the ground in two smoking pieces. With a shy gulp, Alexius bent down picking up the wand bashfully handing it to Sergio who gave a disappointed look to the failed wand.

"You need something far more powerful, here try this one." Sergio took the longest box of them all, carefully holding the dark red wooden wand which was completely covered in demonic markings and symbols.

"Twelve-inches, made from an ancient White Oak Tree which grows only here in Santa Cruz forests. The core consists of two different elements. Phoenix feather and ashes of a Dementor." The wand was delicately placed in Alexius's hand.

It took a few seconds, but I watched as a light breeze engulfed the room. Alexius's eyes lit up as it was obvious his power had connected to the wand. The breeze soon went away, and Alexius was left standing there in amazement.

"This is it. This is my wand." Alexius looked to Sergio, with a gleam in his eyes. I was happy for my brother. "I'll take it, how much?" He questioned, only to be waved off by Sergio himself.

"I'll give it to you free, it is my honor to serve both the Antichrist and Nephilim." Sergio smiled, as something caught my attention.

Curiously, I looked to Sergio a single question on my mind. "What would happen if I picked up one of these wand and tried to bond with it?" Sergio only shrugged.

"I do not know for certain, but you have me curious." He turned around, taking one of the wands out of the box. "Try it." He handed me the dark wooden wand with demonic symbols covering it.

Gripping it tight, I jumped when the wand suddenly let out a sort of shrieking noise. Then the wand exploded, I mean it literally exploded! Chunks of wood went flying everywhere causing both Alexius and Sergio to duck.

"Sorry." I looked to my now empty hand, shocked that my power did that to the wand.

Alexius covered his laugh with a cough, making me slyly glare at him. Jerk.

"It is okay." Sergio waved it off, like the nice man he was. "No harm done here."

"Thank you Sergio." Alexius suddenly told him, with a grin. "We'll be sure to keep in touch." Sergio smiled, thanking him.

Rolling my eyes, I gripped Alexius's arm. "I'm doing the transporting this time." I told him, before waving 'bye' to Sergio.

"Goodbye new friends." He called, and with that, a mass of warm swirling gold overtook us.

~

"OUCH! Alexius not so tight!" I yelped, huffing as Alexius kept pulling the strings to the corset.

He suddenly put a foot to my back, making me lean forward as he pulled the strings tighter than I thought possible. Stars danced across my vision, as small heaves came from me. "Alexius." I wheezed out, trying to kick out behind me but reaching nothing. "STOP!" I screamed, Alexius suddenly flying away from me, hitting the wall of my bedroom harshly.

That kind of blow would've killed any normal human, but Alexius was an Antichrist. Placing my hands on my knees, I gulped in as much air as possible—forgetting how much I hated clothing from the forties.

Twisting my head to glare at Alexius's crumpled figure by new Alexius sized whole in my bedroom wall, I mouthed the words 'fuck you' to him. Alexius being Alexius, gave me a painful glare in return, slowly standing up—his bones popping as he healed himself immediately.

"Oh, I think you broke my nose." He groaned as his crooked nose suddenly snapped back into place making him cry out.

"Shut up you big baby." I waved him off, tying the rest of the corset up with my grace.

"You just threw me into a wall!" Alexius raged, as my corset strings gently tied themselves.

I only shrugged, walked to my bed looking at the rose colored dress. "You'll get over it." The corset was finished tying itself, making me pull the rose dress over my head.

Shifting uncomfortably, I slipped on nice small heels. I figured for the train ride to Hogwarts I should at least look a bit nice, after all I would be seeing everyone again after two months. I knew in the depths of my mind that this year was to be different. I now had a full two semesters with Tom Riddle, I wasn't going to waste it. It was time for change to happen within the walls of Hogwarts.

Alexius had agreed to help as much as possible, meaning he would stay out of Tom's way as much as possible. I knew that Alexius and Tom would most definitely not click right off the bat, perhaps in time they would, but for now they just contrasted each other too much. Therefore, I made Alexius promise to not aggravate Tom too much and allow me to work with him.

Once the heels were strapped on, Balthazar waltzed into my room looking to Alexius blankly. He looked to me then back to Alexius's pained face then he looked to the man sized whole in my wall.

Balthazar then looked to me with exasperation written on his face. "You cannot just throw people into walls, Pandora." He scolded, making me shrug.

"Okay." I stated, but everyone in the room knew it was bound to happen again.

Shaking his head, Balthazar looked to the now completely healed Alexius. Alexius was dressed as a true man from the forties, his hair styled neatly to the side—something which looked odd on him considering his hair was almost always messy.

Placing the last clip in my hair, I admired the way my usually frizzy hair was pinned up in curls neatly. Quickly, I grabbed Alexius's fedora, tossing it to him. He was quick to grab it, putting it on his head, looking to himself approvingly in the mirror.

Alexius and I were both were suppose to come from upper class rich pureblood families, therefore according the Balthazar we had to 'look the look'. Alexius and I were dressed in wealthier clothing, so it gave off a slightly aristocratic aura.

I couldn't shake the excitement of seeing Tom again after two months without him. I didn't understand it, how was it I could be so attached to a person I've barely even known.

Balthazar shaking his head, motioned us downstairs. "Come on, take your trunks down to the living room." I quickly grabbed mine, Alexius doing the same with his own as we took the steps two by two.

Once we were in the middle of the living room, Balthazar surprisingly engulfed us both in a hug. Alexius and I gave each other odd looks as we hugged the angel back, patting his back. Balthazar rarely gave out hugs.

"Don't be strangers," He pulled away giving a sort of stern look. "I expect visits." That statement made me believe that last school-year he missed having me around.

"Obviously, who else is going to teach us the etiquette of Whiskey?" I sarcastically questioned, making him give a small chuckle.

"Yeah, or teach me the proper way to tell if a stripper has Herpes." Alexius smiled, making me give the two guys a look.

"What the–? Why haven't you taught me that." Both guys turned flashing me a weird look before shaking it off.

"Okay, go on ahead." He waved us off, smiling I gripped Alexius's arm, him holding both our trunks.

Back in the forties the male would usually hold the heavier items for a woman, since Alexius was my brother—it was important that he hold my trunk for the purpose of appearance. With a breath, I teleported us to a small practically invisible corner at Kings Cross Station, just by the platform.

Alexius looked around excitedly, attempting to pull me with him toward the gateway where students were running through.

"Hold on." I said, focusing on pushing my grace back to soul.

I ignored the unnatural feeling, and forced myself to endure the discomfort it caused. It moved throughout my soul, whipping past the crevices with its bright gold vividness. Traveling in pulsing beats, I pushed the feeling back lulling it into a dormant state. I knew my eyes were golden, showing the grace weaving its way around my form.

Just as my grace was just about to sleep, I pulled out my angel blade from its hidden position in my dress. Willing the deadly silver blade into a wand, I watched as it transformed into the smaller wand I had become accustomed to. The striking blade disguised as a wand was soon packed away into the folds of my dress, and my eyes were quick to stop the glowing.

"You should have done that earlier." Alexius nagged with a raised eyebrow, making me roll my eyes.

"I know, shut up." I groaned as we quickly walked out of hidden corner, me leading Alexius who was holding both our trunks.

I watched as one last student made their through the brick wall that was the gateway. Looking back to Alexius we nodded in sync. I went into a light jog, almost stroll at the gateway expecting for both Alexius and I to just go straight through alike to the others.

However, just as I was about to get through, the clock went off signalling it was eleven o'clock. I yelped when I hit the wall full force, nearly falling back in shock. Stumbling backward I ran into Alexius, who managed to catch me all the while still gripping the bags.

The both of us turned to the bright yellow clock in the center of the train station, signalling it was now eleven o'clock. "The train leaves at exactly eleven, we missed it!" I groaned, throwing my hands up in stress.

"Are you kidding me right now!" Alexius complained, stomping his foot childishly. "Why the hell did you take us to a time so late?" I shrugged in response, feeling slightly stupid for taking us here so close to when the train was to leave. "And I told you, you should have put your grace dormant before you left. If you had, we probably wouldn't have missed the train." Alexius tried bitching at me again, something I was not going to let happen.

Alexius being a huge fan of the wizarding world in general was just excited to attend Hogwarts and do this adventure. Any other time he not this 'responsible', actually he was worse than me any other time.

"Oh, be quiet Alexa." I purposely called him by female's name, something he gave me an offended look to. "Instead of bitching to me about it, why don't you help me figure out a way to get to Hogwarts?"

"Teleportation obviously." Alexius rolled his eyes, but I shook my head 'no'.

"We can't, the train won't be there for seven hours. Teachers will be suspicious as to why we're there early." I stated, thinking up another way of transportation.

"Dumbledore could cover for us." Alexius suggested, something that still wouldn't work.

"Tom's too smart. He won't believe anything Dumbledore says and will no doubt pester me for the next year about how we got there so early." I sighed, rubbing my head in stress.

"How about we just go back to an earlier hour." Alexius suggested another idea, something I again shot down.

"No, I'll never hear the end of it from Balthazar when he finds out I had to time-travel twice."

Alexius gave me an exasperated look, huffing. Suddenly his entire persona changed, his eyes alighting as a new idea twinkled in his gaze. "In Harry Potter's second year, he missed the train too. So him and Ronald Weasley took his father's enchanted car and flew it all the way to Hogwarts." Alexius excitedly stated, mind no doubt running a hundred miles a minutes.

Narrowing my eyes at him, I looked around. "How do you even know that?"

Alexius scoffed, waving me off. "That's not the point." He said, making me roll my eyes.

"So what? You want me to make a car fly and drive to Hogwarts in it?" I rhetorically questioned, scoffing at the thought.

"Of course not," Alexius snorted. "I was thinking something way more big and dramatic." That statement caused me to look at him warily.

Alexius's ideas had a tenancy to be big and dangerous. Not to mention that more than fifty percent of the time they didn't work, and I need to swoop in and save us. God, just thinking of half the stupid ideas Alexius was able to come up with gave me a headache.

"What are you thinking?" I finally asked, my tone holding something akin to fear.

~

"Dragons? Oh, hell no you son of a bitch!" I yelled, looking to the two dragons Alexius was about ready to buy.

Apparently, without my knowledge he went and took half of the two million dollars we stole from the bank and exchanged it for wizarding currency. Therefore, we had what was equal to about a million dollars in wizarding currency with us.

Looking to the dragons which were chained down, sitting tall and proud among the dragon training grounds—I turned to Alexius who was grinning madly. All I knew was we were at some dragon training area in Romania and were surrounded by dozens of dragons.

It was Alexius's smart idea to buy our own dragons, and ride them to Hogwarts—like that wouldn't make a scene. I can see it now, the new gossip for the rest of the year. 'The American Lightly siblings riding dragon back to Hogwarts!'

Not to mention Tom's reaction, yeah the girl who can barely cast a simple spell can ride a dragon. This would no doubt make him even the more suspicious—him digging deeper to try and find out what was going on. I knew that if Tom had even the slightest clue to me, he would no doubt easily figure everything out. That was something that could not happen, at all.

Unfortunately, Alexius was very adament on the idea.

"Come on! We can give them to the Care of Magical Creatures teacher to take care of! I'm sure he'll be thrilled to have actual dragons he can teach the classes about!" Alexius begged, making me a raise a brow.

"And for summer? Where do we bring them then, huh?"

"We'll leave them there, I'm sure the dragons would be more than happy to live in the Forbidden Forest!" Alexius happily stroked a dragon he had taken the care of picking out.

Just as I was about to shoot down the idea once more, a sudden roar caught my attention. The fierce roar caused the entire ground to quake and even a few dragons to shake in fear. Turning around I was slammed with the image of a huge black dragon, with eyes that practically glowed a deep blue hue.

The dragon let out another ground-quaking roar, causing for the trainers to point their wands at the mystical creature. The dragon screeched in pain when they fired what I could only assume to be pain-filled spells. Chains came seemingly out of no where wrapping around the dragon, forcing him to the ground.

However, the dragon didn't go down without a fight. In one sift movement the air around him blazed up in a forceful heat, fire leaving his mouth as the grass around him burned. One trainer jumped away, yelping in pain as the side of his face was scorched.

Another man actually caught fire, screaming and running around like a lunatic. Other trainers tried to fire water spells at him, but the idiot on fire just kept running around screaming waving his hands in the air.

"Get that mouth shut!" An Irish accented voice yelled, as fire kept leaving the dragons mouth.

In a matter of seconds with their wands, the trainers wrapped many layers of chains around the dragon's mouth forcing it closed. The dragon tried to open his mouth, but only whimpered in pain when it couldn't get it open.

I watched in anger as they all discussed ways to keep the dragon enclosed. Turning back to Alexius who stroked his female dragon, while watching me with a knowing smile—I growled.

"Okay, let's buy some fucking dragons." To that comment Alexius cheered, calling one of the trainers over.

The trainer was male, with graying red hair and an overgrown scruff of a beard. The male smoked from a large pipe, his hands calloused and hard just by the looks of them. I watched in contempt he walked over eyeing us suspiciously.

"Yes?" His voice was thickened over in a heavy Irish accent, making me realize this was the guy who ordered for the dragon to be roped down.

"We would like to buy some dragons." The man rose his brow, scoffing.

"Don't get me wrong you two can obviously afford it," He eyed the fine clothes we wore. "But I highly doubt you'd be capable of handling one dragon, let alone two." He released smoke as he talked, making me scrunch my nose in distaste.

I was not in the mood to be fucking around today. The way he treated the dragon had already ticked me off, I was ready to get out of here.

Before Alexius could snark up one of his famous comments, I stepped closer to the male a challenging look in my eye. "Listen buddy." The New York accent was heavy on my tongue. "I don't give a fuck about what you think. I want to buy two dragons and get the hell out of this shit-hole, so if you could stop being an ass—that would most helpful." His face twisted to one of shock, as he dropped his pipe gaping at me.

Woman didn't talk like that in this era; however, right now I don't give a damn.

Alexius being himself, began dramatically clapping whooping me on. The trainer finally got ahold of himself, swallowing giving me a flirty glance.

"Quite the fiery lass, aren't ya." I sniffed in disgust at the Irish man.

"Just let us buy." I deadpanned, making the male's face drop.

"Fine." He grunted, looking around. "I assume you want to buy Sadie." He pointed to the dragon Alexius was stroking tenderly, him nodding eagerly. "Sadie is still young, probably around fifteen years old, and she's an ice-breather. She'll be fifty Galleons." The Irish man, spoke causing Alexius to simply reach in his pocket pulling out the amount asked for.

The man was obviously surprised we paid upfront like that, as fifty Galleons was apparently a lot. Oh well. We were technically rich, right.

Eagerly the man took the Galleons, counting them all before pocketing them. "Sadie's all your's." After his comment Sadie blew a breath of ice in the air, the dragon being excited causing Alexius to chuckle.

With a smirk, the man turned to me. "And what about you, lassie?" He questioned, my eyes running to the dragon who was left on the ground growling—chained up.

Trainers ran pass the dragon, all freaking out about where to put him for the time being. My being exploded into fury as they talked about just locking him in a giant cellar for the rest of his life. Dragons lived to be old, meaning that poor dragon could be down there for up to three-hundred years!

"I want that one." I pointed to the big blue-eyed dragon.

The Irish man froze, his eyes growing with fear. "That dragon will kill you, girl." I snickered at his comment.

"I highly doubt that." I sneered back at the man, walking straight up to the tied down dragon.

"Hey! Get back here, he'll kill you!" He screamed running after me.

The dragon turned his head to our commotion, watching me approach him skeptically. The dragon froze when I caressed him gently, hissing with what sounded like malice, but I knew under that it was fear.

"What's his name?" I asked as the man came up to me, watching the growling dragon warily.

The male took a deep breath, before looking me in the eyes. "Maisaleon." The name rolled off his tongue in such an odd fashion my head tilted.

'Maisaleon?' What an interesting name. It was uncommon, yet it rolled off the tongue in an attractive way.

Looking Maisaleon in the eyes, I smiled at him. "Hello Maisaleon, I'm Pandora. I would love to take you with me if that's okay." My tone portrayed it as a bright and cheery, causing for the dragon to let out what sounded like a sign as positivity.

With a bright smile, I tilted my head condescendingly at the man who was watching the dragon frightfully. "How much?"

"He's free, but I highly oppose you taking him." I sneered at that, my eyes narrowing at the misunderstood dragon.

"In that case, take these restraints off my dragon." I said calmly and one no one made a move to do so. "NOW!" I roared causing for everyone to jump, and get to work in taking off the chains.

The dragon made noises of glee, when people began taking off his chains. The reason these people were so harsh with the dragon was fear obviously. I could smell it on them from a mile away, which is not a good thing for them.

"Why are you so fearful of him?" I was dubious of his reasons.

The Irish dude, took a step away from the the now almost free dragon. "That dragon is a Thunder-bolt. One of the last of it's breed." I furrowed my brows not understanding why Maisaleon's breed made him so scary.

"So, why does it matter?" I questioned, confused.

"Why does it matter?" The guy mocked, making me scowl meanly. "It matters because that dragon is one of the only species that breathes both fire and ice. Not to mention the speed he can fly." The Irish man exclaimed, tossing his arms in the air.

"Well, that sounds fun!" I smiled at the dragon, who seemed to be watching me with glee.

I knew what it felt like to be judged based on your breed. For the most part anyone who thought of a Nephilim, they ran away screaming. I was labeled as an abomination, something so dangerous that I shouldn't exist. Well excuse me, but I don't commit mass genocides so thank you very much.

Finally, when the dragon was fully release he stretched his wings toward the sky. I smiled, admiring the magnificent creature. Dragons were extremely smart animals, they understood more than most people gave them credit for.

Turning to the Irish man, who was already leaving—scared of the dragon, I rolled my eyes. Smiling up at the dragon, I motioned for Maisaleon to follow me back to where Alexius was waiting with Sadie.

I let out a breath, seeing that Alexius had already changed his clothes out of the formal ones we were to wear on the train. The usual converse he wore adorned his feet; complimented the pure black jeans with his heavy belt—which I had learned he wore for hiding weapons. He had on a black tight-fitted shirt; the necklace made from demon-metal dangling from his neck like always.

Over his shirt was as he called it his, 'bad-ass' leather jacket—multiple pockets were inside for again, the purpose of hiding more weapons. Why Alexius carried around so many weapons, I would never know.

Now, on any other occasion Alexius would usually have two Seraph swords crossed on his back; however, for obvious purposes he wasn't going to be carrying those things around. Seraph swords were interesting because they had the ability to kill mostly anything other than angels. However, hunters mainly used these Seraph swords for killing demons.

Alexius wasn't included as he was half-human, therefore if he were to be stabbed by a Seraph sword it would only injure him. As I got closer, I realized just because he didn't have his Seraph swords on—all his other weapons were still safely hidden away.

"Don't you think arriving at Hogwarts dressed like that will gain a bit of attention." I questioned, Alexius turning to me scoffing.

"Don't you think arriving to Hogwarts on dragons will gain us a bit of attention?" He fired back with the usual level of sass. "I really doubt our attire will make much of a difference." He suddenly spit to the ground.

"Our?" I was confused with his reasoning.

"Yes, our." He rolled his eyes, tying his trunk to the side of Sadie. "Put your gear on, you can't ride a dragon in fucking dress." I mean I could, but it would probably really hard.

With a sigh, I looked around before quickly using my powers to change my clothing. Within a second the normal gear I dressed up in when going on an adventure with Alexius adorned me.

The material of the clothing was stretchy leather that had been pounded until it broke from its stiff form. The thick combat boots covered my feet and the leather jeans were tight around my legs, but not too tight. I wouldn't lie, I always enjoyed the way the gear complimented my body—squeezing enough so that my curves stuck out.

Alike to Alexius, I wore a shiny silver belt. The belt was made from melted Seraph swords, meaning that if any demon came in contact with the belt it would burn them and protect the wearer from said demonic entities. A black tank-top was worn under my leather jacket which alike to Alexius had multiple weapons hiding inside.

Okay, maybe I was being a bit hypocritical when I said Alexius carries around a lot of weapons. In my defense I don't carry around nearly as many as him ... just a fair few.

Usually hidden up in my sleeve would be my archangel blade—hidden from sight but ready to slide into my hand if any danger comes lurking around. Since it was currently a wand, it felt much different hidden in my sleeve.

With a smirk, Alexius stepped forward so we were chest to chest. I rose a brow, as he brought his hand up to my pinned hair. Reaching up, he grasped the bobby pin which kept the whole thing in place—in one swift movement he pulled it out and my hair tumbled down into a mass curls.

"Looks better down." Alexius said, throwing the hair pin over my shoulder.

"Thanks, I guess." I was confused as to whether that was a compliment or not.

He shrugged, before I quickly picked up my trunk tying onto Maisaleon as Alexius had done with Sadie. Once I was confident, my trunk wouldn't fall I turned to Alexius who was already sitting on Sadie's huge form watching me in amusement.

"Last one to Hogwarts has to piss of Sam and Dean Winchester!" Alexius shouted, before Sadie had taken off—literally leaving a cloud of smoke behind her.

Sam and Dean Winchester were trouble. The last thing either of us needed was for the noisy hunters getting in our business. Let alone if they found out Balthazar was actually alive. Yep, that's right—Balthazar faked his death to them.

"Shit." I cussed, Maisaleon sensing the competitive nature—bending down far enough that I was able to climb on his back. "Let's beat them!" I cried out, as Maisaleon exploded off the ground.

I thought Sadie was fast, I don't think I've ever seen a dragon faster than Maisaleon. Yelling out in excitement, the wind ran through my hair as we caught up to Sadie and Alexius in no time. Alexius looked to us in shock, making Maisaleon snicker.

And with that, he exploded past them stretching his wings as he flew through clouds. I whooped in joy, holding on tight as he spun through air letting out roars of excitement.

"You're the best Maisaleon!" I shouted at him, as his fast pace turned into a more calmed one.

We were far enough ahead of our competitors, to take it easy for awhile and simply enjoy the ride. I sighed in satisfaction feeling a bond form between my dragon and I.

"We beat you asshole!" I pointed to Alexius and Sadie, a happy smile on face.

Alexius hopped off Sadie with a scowl, Sadie looking equally as mad at her owner over the fact of being beaten.

"Nope, you cheated." Alexius was a sore loser to say the least, his comment made Maisaleon breathe fire in the air as if mocking him.

Sadie's purple eyes flared up in anger before she too blew a breath of ice in the air. I always knew dragons were smart animals, but it never occurred to me just how smart. With those thoughts, I watched in amusement at the banter Sadie and Maisaleon seemed to being having back and forth.

Alexius losing his competitive nature looked around in wonder. Hogwarts School stood in front of us tall and proud, the sun beating down on it just right. We had landed just outside the main entrance into the school giving us the perfect view.

Tilting my head I looked to the sun, which was just barely beginning to set—leading me to believe it was approximately five o'clock. I let out a breath when I realized that we still managed to arrive here before the train.

Looking back to the school, I shifted making the dead grass crunch under my feet. Alexius paid no mind to the time, only watching the school in amazement. My thoughts were cut short when I saw a small group of what looked to be Hufflepuff first years crossing one of the large windows. They laughed with each other not noticing our obvious forms, considering there was two dragons standing behind us and all. My eyebrows furrowed, in confusion.

If we made it before the train, then why were there students? The train didn't get in until six o'clock precisely, we had to be early. Unless...

My breath hitched when I suddenly understood the situation. Taking a calming breath, I turned to Alexius.

"Hey Alexius," I said through my teeth, as he turned humming in acknowledgement. "When you teleported us to Romania, you wouldn't have happened to skip time as well, would you?" My eye twitched when his face paled.

"Oh shit." He groaned, hitting his palm to his face. "I didn't notice; I swear, it was out of habit." I pursed my lips nodding slowly.

"Okay," I breathed. "So we're at Hogwarts with no clue as to what time we're in." I slowly began making my way to the entrance.

Sensing Alexius about to follow me, I spun around with a sharp glare. "NO!" He jumped at my tone. "You stay here and watch Maisaleon and Sadie. I need to see if we're still in nineteen forty-three at least." Alexius nodded, subconsciously playing with his heavy belt.

Spinning back around, I made my way into the school—making sure to stay in shadows. Walking through the school made me oddly happy. I really didn't think coming back to school would make this happy, but surprisingly it did.

Not only that, but I had the strangest urge to find Tom. I felt like I had to start searching the school right now looking for Tom Riddle, an urge that made me angry. I shouldn't be this desperate to find Tom.

Shaking away the feeling, I was greeted by the warmth of the corridors. It wasn't cold outside, but apparently in Scotland only seventy degrees was considered hot. Walking along the walls, I was able to determine that most students were in their last class of the day based on the way classroom doors were shut.

Deciding my best bet was to go to the Headmasters office, I began making my way there. It wasn't until I was half-way there, that I was suddenly pulled out of the shadows into a bone-crushing hug.

"Lavender," I wheezed out, face turning red. "Can't breathe." She let go of me immediately after.

"Sorry," She sighed, before scowling. "We thought you weren't coming back, school started three days ago!" She scolded making me flush.

"Yeah, um Alexius and I missed the train." I scratched the back of my head sheepishly. "So he decided to teleport us to Romania three days after school started and long story short, we rode dragons here." I finally admitted, making Lavender's jaw drop.

"Dear Merlin." She shook her head, looking around. "Where are the dragons now!" She screeched making me give a sorry smile.

"With Alexius at the front of the school." After I had said that, her gaze suddenly traveled down my body—her eyes widening.

"What in Merlin's name are you wearing?" Her voice came out faint, as she looked to me in pure shock.

I tugged the leather jacket closer with a smirk. "This my adventure gear," I shimmied dramatically. "You like?"

"Yes, Pandora." She rolled her eyes, sighing. "It makes you look incredibly arousing." She purred that part in a low voice, obviously trying to impersonate Tom—making scoff at her. "It also is something no one would ever wear in this time!" She said the last part exasperated.

"Blame Alexius." Is all I managed to get out, my excuse poor. "Anyway, you need to help me hide Maisaleon and Sadie before class is over!" I suddenly panicked.

"Who?" She spluttered as I pulled her with me suddenly.

"The dragons!" I explained, as we went through the corridors on our way to the entrance of the school. "Why are you out of class?" I questioned, knowing Lavender would never skip without a reason.

"Dumbledore called me out, he's wondering where you are as well—it was no doubt to discuss your absence and how to find you." I let out a breath, as we turned. "Even Tom's been wondering where you are." I was surprised at that.

"Really?" My tone held that of disbelief.

"Yes, he even came up to Walter and I earlier asking about you."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?" I cleared my throat in embarrassment at my eager shriek.

Lavender rose a brow at me, giggling lightly. "I told him I wasn't sure, I mean it's not like I lied—no one knew where you were." I nodded at her, pausing in our steps as Dumbledore turned the corridor—his eyes alighting when he saw me.

"Ah, Pandora." He greeted walking up to us. "I was wondering when you would make an appearance." He eyed my clothing with a raised brow.

Looking to Lavender, then back to the Professor—I groaned. "Long story short, Alexius and I missed the train, Alexius accidentally took us to Romania three days after school started, and we bought dragons and rode them here." I said in one breath, Dumbledore's eyes sparking in surprise.

"You never fail to surprise me." He sighed, following along.

"Also the dragons need to stay here, so yay—Hogwarts has dragons now!" I gave him jazz hands, Dumbledore slowly nodding, agreeing to it.

"Okay, where are they now." He questioned, making me bite my lip.

"With Alexius out front."

"How about Lavender and you go wait by the dragons with Alexius. I am going to get the Headmaster and professor Kettleburn so they can make arrangements for them. Once we get out there, we'll get Alexius sorted and figure out things from there." Dumbledore stayed level-headed about the whole situation, something I was grateful for.

"Sweet." I gave him a thumbs up, pulling Lavender along with me toward the front of the school once more.

"Try to not use future words like that." Lavender rolled her eyes, me nodding in acceptance.

The two of us ran through the corridors, trying to beat the bell. I knew once class was over people would no doubt be attracted to the dragons as it was quite obvious. However, it would be easier if we were there, so they didn't assume Alexius as some stranger.

Throwing the front doors open, Lavender and I both gaped at the sight which greeted us. Damn you, Alexius.
