Yes I know this is the third time I am redoing this story idea, but this time I swear it will be the last time. Now this idea is mostly related to me wanting to do something with my favorite manga/anime Bleach and one of my new favorite Mangas, Mato Seihei no Slave or Chained Soldier. This story will focus on my favorite villain faction, the Arrancar! Now I will explain how the Arrancar can exist without Hollows in the end note along with a question or two. For now let's meet the protagonist!

Name: Izuho Kurogane

Age: 18 (Prologue), 22 (Rest of story)

Hair Color: Orange

Eye Color: Brown

Height: 6 Foot, 3 Inches

Occupation: Unemployed, Arrancar

Personality: Kind, optimistic, can be grumpy at times, ruthless towards the Shuuki, wishes he could return to his life back on earth, unsure if he can trust the Anti-Demon Corps.

Arrancar Form

Arrancar: The form Izuho takes after his soul refuses to die in Mato and something awakens within him In this form Izuho is incredibly strong compared to an average human. While this form does not have access to the full power Izuho has, it still noticeably deadly, granting him a plethora of supernatural abilities.

Weapon

Zangetsu: A large sword that is almost the size of a person, it has a large curved blade and a bare tang wrapped in bandages as the handle. This weapon contains the sealed portion of Izuho's powers. By calling out the command "Rampage" Izuho can achieve Resurrección and utilize his full power.

Abilities

Cero: A powerful spiritual light that is fired as red energy beams or other projectiles.

Hierro: An Arrancar's outer skin with high spiritual hardness that serves as armor.

High-Speed Regeneration: An ability which allows Arrancar to heal most injuries very quickly, with the exception of the destruction of the head or vital organs.

Resurrección: Releasing the core of an Arrancar's ability sealed in their Zanpakutō to regain the original powers of their Hollow form. They often take on a form closer to a Hollow than a Human after performing Resurrección.

Bio: Izuho Kurogane has always been frustrated with how he couldn't help people due to him being born a boy. His parents both paramedics, died in a Mato Disaster when he first entered high school. With no other family to turn to, Izuho finished High School and started searching for a job so he could support himself. Tragedy however struck once again when Izuho himself was dragged into the realm of Mato, far away from any of the Units of the Anti-Demon Corps. At death's door, a sinister voice calls out to Izuho, taunting his weakness. Enraged Izuho declares he refuses to die like this before being engulfed in a bright light. Four years later and the Anti-Demon Corps has had multiple sightings of a strange humanoid figure, wielding a sword, seemingly hunting Shuuki. This strange figure has one goal in mind, defend humanity from the Shuuki so that no one else end up like him.

So that's Izuho! Now to clarify, yes Izuho is this story's universe's equivalent to Ichigo Kurosaki, his name Izuho Kurogane even being a riff on the original's name. Now unlike the main universe counterpart, Izuho only has Hollow powers considering he's an Arrancar. Now how do Arrancar come about if Hollows don't exist in Mato? The idea is rather simple:

Humans with incredibly strong wills or "souls" when killed by a Shuuki can forsake their humanity and fully embrace the demonic energy of Mato. This in turn destroys their humanity and transforms them into something stuck between human and demonic.

Now I do have three questions in regard to this story.

The first is should Izuho have a Fracción and if so who should be apart of it?

The second is what Unit of the Anti-Demon Corps should Izuho encounter first?

The final one is love interests, I am open to suggestions and want to know if he should have more than one. The Maxium is Three, so keep that in mind.

Now in regard to power scaling, the Arrancar do outclass standard Shuuki, Unique Shuuki could put up a fight depending on its abilities, and the Thunder Gods are still a major threat regardless.
