I heard someone's voice..I-its girl. I was about to check but then a thought stuck in my mind.

"What if it's a ghost?"

But it's not dark yet...should I check? Off- I'm not afraid! *proudly* But..*gulps* Ugh! Let's see what happens.

I moved the empty cardboards drums and went closer to the dark.

"Is someone here?" I called but there is no reply.

"Hello?" I called again.

"I-I am here" I heard the girl's voice again and went to her.

"Hello, myself Reyansh!" I smiled and moved my hand forward but she slapped it.

"I want water!" She shouted, weakly.

So mean!

"But I don't have water" I said.

"Then go and get some water for me" she said.

How dare she order me?

"...please" she ended.

"Thanks for completing the sentence " I said, sarcastically. I stood up and looked at her carefully. Her dress was dirty and she even got scars on her hand and legs and her hair is a mess.

"What are you looking at?" She passed me a glare as I looked at other direction.

"I-I am bringing wat-"

"Are you making the football, Reyansh?" I heard Dhven's voice and looked back.

"Really? Then make one for me too" Here goes Harshu. They came to me and Harshu looked at this unknown,  grumpy girl.

"Were you guys making out?" He asked,  dumbly and received a punch from me.

"Watch your mouth, idiot!" I said.

"Who are you all?" She said, getting a little scared by seeing three boys.

But hey! We are not that bad!

"Hey pretty girl, I'm Harshu. Wanna date me?" Harshu winked at her as she threw a cardboard at her.

"Please leave me, I want water...I can't stand" she said, hissing in pain.

"Dhaven " I called him "Can you buy a bottle of water?"

"Alright " he nodded and went out quickly as I helped the girl to stand.

"What's your name?" I asked her.

"Ananya " she replied.

"Ow nice name, are you single?" Harshu again dared to open his mouth.

"No I've a fiance " she smiled sarcastically as his smile faded.

"Pff- I'm Reyansh " I smiled.

"You already told me and I don't have that bad memory " she said.

"Don't you think you are bit too harsh?" I asked as we came out of the godown.

"I tried to be soft...but this world doesn't need kindness " she said , sadly.

"Boy, don't tell me you are falling.
Cuz you can't tell what's the secret behind her hiding " Harshu said as I nodded.

"What were you doing there?" I asked her.

"I was kidnapped..." she replied,  making us shock.

"I am back with water" Dhaven said and handed her the water as she almost finished all in one gulp.

"Thank you" she said.

"You didn't told me how you were kidnapped?" I asked.

"I didn't remember much. I was coming back from school when a group of boys, sprayed something on my face making my unconscious " she said "When I opened my eyes, I found myself inside a truck. I somehow managed to run away from there"

We looked at her surprisingly "Why they kidnapped you?"

"I don't know but...I suspect my uncle can be behind all this and this kidnapping is not that simple as it is looking "

"Why your uncle will do this?" Harshu asked.

"Money...he always wanted to inherit my dad's money" she said, sadly.

"You must be missing your family, right?" I asked, putting my hand on her shoulder but she pushed it and averted her eyes

"Not really...they don't care"

"Don't think like this. Parents love their children but they don't usually show that" I said,  ignoring her grumpy behavior.

"Maybe but I'm too far for home now and I need a place to stay also" she said

"Why don't you go to the police station?" Dhaven asked.

"Police are all involved in this"

"WHAT?!" Three of us shouted as she nodded.

"I saw the truck driver gossiping with the police"

"So where you are gonna stay?" I asked.

"Don't know" she said "Can you manage a place for me? I'll find a per time and soon return to my family "

"I don't understand why do you want to make money when you can go home and tell your parents?" Harshu said.

"I can't. My uncle is the one who is brain washing my parents and I can't go home now. It would be a trouble then. I have to go back probably after a month" she said.

"Its so confusing " I said.

"There are many things behind this and I don't bother explaining it" she said.

Again her behavior!

"So Dhaven, can you take her to your home to stay?" I asked him.

"Are you mad? Grandpa will kill me if he finds a girl with me!" He yelled.

I turned towards Harshu "You were showing all your lovely dovey tricks, what about you?"

"Hehe, you know my mom..." he nervously smiled.

"Its fine, its improper to stay in a boy's house and I'll manage a please.  Thank you" she smiled.

"But it isn't safe for you and we really want to help" I said.

"Only you" Dhaven and Harshu glared at me.

"Its ok, thanks" She smiled again.

"Wait!" Harshu said "Why don't you take her to your house, Reyansh?"
