3rd person p.o.v

Back at the Warren jack was flying around as his normal self while bunnymund busied himself to keep his mind off of what his instincts wanted. Bunnymund was waiting for the response from toothiana as her palace was probably the most desirable until his heat subsided as it had plenty of space for jack to use up excess energy and just more room to fly around. Even on the ground bunnymund could see that jack preferred flying with his friend wind as the staff jack carried with him allowed him to communicate with it.

That Shepard hook staff was the one that saved Jack's sister from a icy grave and was the main key to his old memories. The memory box that contained his memories turned out to be the second key. This only made us older guardians realize that we had wrongfully assumed that jack was a nuisance for three hundred years when really he was a child who lost all memories of when he was alive.

*Bunnymund's thoughts*

What all did you go through snowflake? What trauma had you gone through and had nobody to go to? Was that fateful Easter a result of those summer spirits hurting you and you were just trying to fight back or was it a cry for help knowing it was Easter?

There were so many questions and only one has been partially answered. I didn't want to drudge up memories likely buried deep never to be revisited in Jack's heart and mind but, if I'm going to find answers to my questions I unfortunately had to bring some stuff up. I should wait a bit longer however at least till after my want to claim jack as my partner subsides. Being close to him is the worst choice right now as I wouldn't let him go till it was over.

Jack's P.O.V

Bunnymund is acting very weird. He's being secretive and gave me a vague explanation for why he sent a messager egg by saying he had something to ask the others which right away made me suspicious. Was this about the attack if so I needed to try to convince him I would be ok despite having self doubt. The fire spirits don't mess around. Even if I explained that the guardians found out on there own they would say I was lying and make sure I didn't live to see another day.

They don't mess around and they could hurt the others as they didn't seem to care about their higher status they just see us guardians as stuck up and uncaring about outside entities. I don't know what to do to stop bunnymund though and I did actually want help so I didn't live in fear as that could bring Pitch back sooner then any of us are ready for. Whatever is bugging bunnymund will hopefully be revealed soon but for now I need to actually find him. His Warren surprisingly has several hidden locations so finding him won't be easy especially with the egglets running around.
