Personality: like Scott,Scarlet is a country boy who loves to scheme. In her biography, she names her favorite memory from childhood as the first time she caused an argument between her parents. "Scheming Scarlet", as Chris calls her, is the main antagonist's sidekick of her debut season. She loves telling others what to do, yet states that she enjoys taking orders as well (albeit only from certain people). Throughout the season, Scott has a devious mind and makes her team lose on purpose. Despite her sly and cunning nature, Scott does not appear to be nearly as intelligent as other antagonists, as shown by her taunting of toothy, or her several injuries. However, in Ice Ice Baby, Blanche implies that scarlet has a less devious side to her, and that her nasty side is prominent due to "not being held enough as a child".

In Total Drama All-Stars, her better side is seen, and Scarlet's antagonistic role is shrunk a large amount. Her kinder and more bumbling side is exposed, and when Scott begins to form a crush on Courtney,Scarlet cheers him on like a good sister. Similar to her ex-boyfriend, Scarlet is intrigued by Courtney's headstrong personality and grows to appreciate her being kind and sweet to her. Scarlet still keeps her scheming side, but to a lesser extent. Following of her suffering by toothy, she also developed a phobia of sharks. She displays a strange habit of taking enjoyment in eating disgusting foods. She considers moldy bread and dirt to be delicacies, even adding the latter as an ice cream topping. Scarlet has shown that she can be slightly lacking in intelligence at times, especially in terms of social skills due to her sheltered life. Such an example is in The Obsta-Kill Kourse when Mal lies that Fuischa purposely tried to "drive a wedge" between her brother  and Courtney. In response, Scarlet is confused and asks if he means a wedge of cheese. However, it's possible that she's  simply bad with metaphors.
