There's always more

Something I had been shown some time ago is yWriter. I had started using it, but it's whole set-up was something that I had been doing already, just in my own way with Notepad, Wordpad, and OpenOffice. My OCD doesn't really allow for mismanagement or mess, so I was already set before I'd looked into it, but even still, it's worth hanging onto for other stuff.

I strongly recommend it for those who create whole new worlds, game creators, and those who like to go into detail of 'props' used within their stories. (Weapons, tools, items, etc)

Now, I know I won't be able to describe this in a way to give it any kind of justice, or even make decent sense, for that matter, but there is a short clip that explains it. It's less than 10 minutes long, and worth watching:

This program is free, made for writers by a writer. I think one of the best parts about it is once you have it downloaded, you don't have to be online to use it. You don't even need an online connection to access it, as it's all on your computer/device.

It has download options for a few different platforms, the one I have saved and will give a link to is for Windows. Through this link though, you'll be able to navigate the site to get anywhere you would need.

Wattpad does offer that small spot here for 'Story notes' sure, but yWriter gives near unlimited space, and opens up so many more avenues for you to use if needed. It'll take a little bit to get used to the set-up if you choose to download it, but not too long, as it's pretty straight forward.

It's also set up in a way if you're one of those who doesn't really write your chapters in order, but will bounce from scene to scene and piece them together later. It keeps everything organized for you, in one spot, and clear cut. I have to do mine in order for the most part, and it works for that too, as you can see in the clip(if you've hopefully watched it).

I've seen so many get so flustered with keeping all their thoughts and notes in order, so I wanted to share this here so hopefully more will find it. I've shared it in the forums once, and the person I'd given the link to loved it. I also know others find their order through chaos, so this may not work for them, but you never know.

Either way, for those who do look into it, I hope you do find it helpful

The link to the site can be gone to be clicking on the External Link below
