Since it was something I was looking up for my own needs, I figured I'd put it up here for others to use as well. Somewhere easy to find and a much quicker rundown than a long reading list that other websites will give(Not to mention long loading ads - moreso than what WP has).

+ First of all, what are Clothing Preferences

The option came up on my profile sheets so I'll explain - Clothing Preferences are/is a style or even brands of clothing your character prefer over others.  Simple as that. A person can have a singular or multiple types they prefer, there is no right or wrong answer, as it is what they commonly wear. What they feel the most comfortable in over something else.

+ What are the names of these different styles?

I found a listing of 33 different types, but I'm sure there are more that weren't listed. They range from one end of the spectrum to the other, with a variety of color, fashion sense, and taste.  This listing also came with pictures, but WP has a cap on how many can be added. I may or may not fandangle something together.

1. Vintage Fashion Style
   -
The Vintage Style changes depending on the decade; as of now, it spans from the 1920's to the 1990's. Examples would be the most popular clothing items of those times.
'You may find vintage clothing as an Haute Couture or in high-quality mainstream fashion labels and it can be new, used, handmade or even manufactured.'
*'It is also important for you to know that every item that is classified as vintage will become antique as time passes by. Any vintage clothing that is at least 100 years old or more will fall into the category of antique.'

2. Artsy Fashion Style
   -
The idea to create something unconventional away from traditional styling; involving some very bold and bright colors, with exaggerated prints. The clothes can have unusual silhouettes and some weirdly unique shapes. Most of it is handcrafted and is homemade.
Artsy is a style that is much about creativity. It can be an outfit that you thought of and quickly put together out of a piece of fabric you already had, or you can simply be wearing a creative idea from some artistic designer.
'Most of the time, people would dress in this fashion style so that they would be able to deliver a subliminal message to society to make a statement for themselves so that they could stand up for the things that they believe in.'

3. Casual Fashion Style

- It's not a particular set of codes, rather the real definition of casual wear is anything that's considered 'traditional' to not be suitable or inappropriate for a regular occasion that requires a formal dressing code. Think of casual wear as a particular set of clothes that you wear to make yourself feel relaxed but at the same time maintain a level of elegance so that you're be able to use it comfortably as your everyday outfits.
It's your personal preference that make you want something rugged or sleek, down-to-earth, or upscale - casual wear invites you to dress the way that makes you feel comfortable to you all the time, instead of focusing all of your attention into the formalities. Casual wear enables you to find the balance that you want between the level of comfort, personal style, as well as individuality so that you'll be able to dress fashionably but at the same time wear a functional outfit.

4. Grunge Style Clothing

This clothing type is a result of the grunge music and originated in the 1980's. There was a heavy emphasis on creating oversized and layered silhouettes. This style specifically included flannel shirts, leather jackets, ripped denim, metallic jackets, crop tops, combat boots, slogan tees, fishnet stockings, mom jeans, slouchy sweaters, and beanies. Baggy clothing, torn and ripped, and messy clothes are the characteristics of this style.
'The grunge style of fashion was initially inspired by the music scene of the grunge, searching its origin in messy, cozy and flannel pieces. Grunge initially emerged in Seattle in the middle of the 1980s and it was known for its angst-driven lyrics and stripped-down sound. Even though grunge was greatly influenced by heavy metal and punk rock, it eventually managed to find its own identity by creating its style and look.'

'A type of culture that holds strongly onto a particular ideology and has a very unique and complex history. Most people tend to relate the bohemian fashion style to the hippie fashion that appeared in the late 70's and 60's, however currently, the bohemian fashion style has become one of the big portions of our culture. 34. Steampunk Fashion Style

- Steampunk fashion is a mixture of fashion trends from different historical periods. Steampunk clothing adds the looks of characters from the 19th century, explorers, soldiers, lords, countesses and harlots, to the punk, contemporary street fashion, burlesque, goth, fetishism, vampire and frills among others.
'Steampunk fashion did originally not include much jewelry, but a few accoutrements have made their way into the style during the 2010s'
During the 1980s and 1990s, steampunk fashion grew along with the goth and punk movements in fashion. Cyberpunk and Dieselpunk fashion are variants of the steampunk fashion of the 1980s.
'The steampunk aesthetic is inspired by the fashions of Victorian Era in England (1837-1901), but also by the Belle Epoque in France (1871-1914), and the Civil War era in the United States (1861-1865). The clothing from these eras is often modernized by the addition of mechanical elements with gears showing.'

* Example of Dieselpunk: Mad Max: Fury Road
* A big difference between the two genres is that cyberpunk is about the future that may be, while steampunk is about the past that could have been

35. Renaissance Style

- Lower class would have a more practical style of clothing because of the work the were required to do. The lower classes materials would be linen, wool, or sheepskin. Upper classes wore materials such as silk, velvet, brocade, and satin. In similarity of differences the upper class had many more options in the amount of clothing they could own. However, with the difference in types of materials in the upper and lower classes the basic elements of an outfit were similar.
For women, the basic style of gown was made of a tight-fitting bodice and then a filled out skirt would hang down to the ankles. It was also accepted wear at the time that women's dresses were cut with an exposed neckline. In the upper class the clothing women wore was very cumbersome and restricted their movement. This usually required servants to help dress the wearer. While the lower class women would wear much lighter clothing that was easy to dress themselves. Now all women's clothing started with a loose linen smock worn to protect the gown, with knee high stockings. For added warmth a woman could wear a petticoat.
For the men, their basic outfit is a shirt similar to our dress shirts today, only difference is in the collar and cuffs. The collar and cuffs would instead be made out of lace. Over this shirt would be a doublet(fitted top) followed up with a jerkin(tight-fitting jacket). It's very common for men in the lower class to wear only the shirt without the doublet, and jerkin for more functionality. Men didn't wear traditional pants like today, they would wear hose on their legs. The upper hose was usually poufy knee-length, then the nether hose, which is like stockings, were on the lower part of the leg.
