~ Greetings ~

Alright, so as I said before, I grew up playing assorted tabletop role playing games, I learned my way around character sheets pretty fast. While each gaming system has a different style, each has the fundamental basics of what/who a person is. 

I've been a judge in a few contests on here, I've helped several others with their editing of their books, and while I'll be the first to admit I don't know anywhere near the amount a first year English Major college student does, I get by pretty well with what I do know. - And what I do know is that many books I've come across always seem to get tripped up on character detail. 

Oh sure, we all know the main man is all hunky with gorgeous eyes and has an impressive set of...assets, just as the fem will have some quirky thing that makes her different from everyone else. Great, that's nice, but uh, there's more to a person than just that. 

While I know some readers don't like a lot of detail, I'm a stickler for it - as long as it isn't overdone. It's a fine line, I know, I've been there.  

Anyway ~ Getting back on track here - Many tend to lose their details on their peeps because they don't always have their stuff written out somewhere. It's 'all in their head'. Well, not to be rude, but, not only can we not see into your head, but there's a very high chance of forgetting some detail that you may need later. Guess what, I have all my stuff in my head too, but there is so much to keep track of, that every single minute detail doesn't stick in the forefront of my brain.
