After a long good talk with Daniel, we had to part ways. I watched my brother race and couldn't help but sit on the edge of my seat.

Anytime he got too close to a wall, or another driver, my nerves ran all over the place.

When he was done I greeted him and hugged him tightly.

"I don't know if I can get used to watching you drive" I mumble in his shoulder.

"I hope you can, it helps me when you're here" Victor says and I smile and pull away.

"I'm glad to be here for you" I say and smile, Victor does too, but then it falters.

Almost like he remembered something.

"What's wro—""—Good drive Mr. Lorenzi!" Arthur shouts as he slap his hand onto my brothers back and he jumps in surprise.

I stay quiet as Arthur had interrupted my question. Maybe it was my luck, maybe it saved me an unpleasant conversation.

"I'll take off, are you riding with me back to the hotel?" I ask Victor and he shakes his head no.

"I made plans with Arthur, but thanks" Victor says with a small smile and I nod.

"Alright, I will see you" I tell the two and they nod back with a smile.

As I leave I hear Arthur ask questions about me. I ignore it and keep walking.

Every formula 1 driver had left, so I got a taxi to the hotel.

I read the mails I got from Mercedes and prepared myself to start the job soon enough.

I was excited, it's what I loved doing, it was only another bonus that I had to work closely with Lewis and George.

I adored the two, they are amazing drivers, with great personalities.

I scroll through instagram as I wait to arrive at the hotel, but I decide to stop on the way as I see a small Café.

I pay the taxi driver and exit the taxi and enter the cafe. It had a view over the water, I ordered an iced coffee with caramel and sipped it as I watched the sunset.

I enjoyed some quietness, some alone time.

I took some pictures and posted it on my story. I smiled as Lena liked it almost immediately.

LenaWilliams:
Hit me up when you come back to the hotel. Pierre wants to apologize. X love u!

I chuckle at the message and reply.

Daniellalorenzi:
Of course x love you too

I hear the sound of a voice clearing and I look up and the smile is wiped off of my face almost immediately.

"Connor?" I ask and fight hard to stop myself from laughing at the face expression Charles wore, when I said that.

"I hate when you do that" Charles grumbles and glares at me hard.

"What do you want?" I ask him with a small chuckle.

"Can I sit with you?" Charles asks and I narrow my eyes suspiciously at him.

"Why?" I ask and cross my arms. "It's packed here, besides this is my usual spot" Charles says and sits down without me saying yes to it.

"You come here?" I ask him surprised. He didn't seem like the type to go out in quiet places.

"I do, it's my favorite cafe here in Hungary" Charles says with a charming smile.

"Be careful now Calvin, you might pass off as a decent guy" I retort using the wrong name once again and Charles shakes his head with a small laugh and leans forward.

"This is a date, yes?" Charles asks and I snort. "It is so not" I say and lean forward as well.

"It is" Charles insists and I roll my eyes. "Whatever, you crashed my alone time, that's all" I say and lean back in defeat.

"It's a date" Charles confirms. I tsk and take another sip of my coffee.

"Is that the ice coffee with caramel?" Charles asks eyeing my drink. I nod confused and then see the same drink is delivered in front of Charles by the waitress.

"As I said, I come here" Charles reminds me and I chuckle.

"I'm sorry about earlier" Charles said as he held the glass in his hands, while still leaning forward.

A genuine expression formed on his face and my smile falls a little.

"I don't understand what it was about, but I already forgot about it, it's fine" I tell him and shoot him a small smile.

"I want to explain, but it might be hard to believe for you" Charles says and scratch his neck.

"Try me" I say and urge Charles to continue.

"I guess, with the teasing between us, the kisses, I was for a minute worried" Charles says as he tries to make it make sense.

"Worried? About what?" I ask confused and lift my glass to take another sip.

"That you might've connected better with Arthur" Charles admits and I cough on my coffee and Charles go red.

"What?" I ask surprised.

"Listen, Charles. We connect because we're the same person, I don't relationships, you don't either. You like the teasing game, the hard to get game, that's until you get what you want and get bored. I'm not into Arthur, but sure you and I connect in some level, but there's nothing there" I say slowly and softly.

Charles' face lit up as I finally said his name right, but it fell as I finished voicing my thoughts.

Charles says nothing and looks down, it looked like defeat. "Right?" I ask carefully.

"Right" Charles says and nods. He puts on a smile, but the smile doesn't reach his eyes.

Why did he seem bothered by that?

"Or what do you think of the whole thing?" I ask sensing he didn't agree with my words.

"I think we're attracted to each other, I think we're alike in many ways and I think that if you gave me a chance, I could make you happy" Charles says, his accent gave me chills.

I had to stop myself screaming at him.

"Then why is it that I'm warned against you? Why is it everyone tells me you're destructive, you're a hurricane dragging everyone with you" I ask and lean closer to his face as I speak.

"That's until you see the real me" Charles says and looks down a my lips. His eyes dart back and forth between them and my eyes.

"And who is the real you then?" I ask playing the game. It was obviously a game, it wasn't anything I hadn't heard before.

"This, the guy in the cafe, not being inappropriate, being honest and gentle" Charles says softly takes my hand in his and squeeze it lightly as I let him.

A real smile creeps up on his lips.

I find myself getting lost in his smile, the way his eyes lit up.

He seemed so calm and collected.

"Tell me one thing" I say softly and Charles nods. Our faces is inches away from each others.

"Would you believe that if it was the other way around?" I ask him, I see the conflict behind his eyes and smile.

He knew I was right. Could we trust each other to not toy with the situation?

Could I trust his words? Would he have trusted mine, if it was me telling him this.
