"Are you studying well?" Jimin asked as he sipped on his milkshake.

"Yeah. Though I get distracted sometimes," Jiya responded as she stared at her cup.

"Why?"

Silence answered him instead.

"I like someone."

He thought he heard wrong. His stomach twisting uncomfortably, he asked, "Like? As in more than friendship?"

"Yeah."

Suddenly, his milkshake no longer tasted good.
