Urban Legends and Cryptids

Hello all, welcome to today's activity!

Halloween is known to be the night in which all those creepy creatures that go bump in the night to make their presence known to the living (well... more known than usual) - and as such, it is time to test your knowledge on figuring out who some of those creatures are - whether they are something that we may bump into in the night, or just something lurking in the shadows, waiting for you to fall victim to their vile tricks...

For the first round, we will be focusing on a well known folklore; so well known in fact that it has inspired many television shows (such as the CWs Supernatural), and movies to twist the tale into one of their own making. But, for the sake of this activity, we shall go back and take a look at the original folklore.

"_________ only appears to those that ritualistically chant her name, thirteen times, in a dimly lit room - with participants facing towards a mirror. If these conditions are met, she will appear in the mirror, some say as a corpse, witch, or ghost, and could be seen covered in blood (which could be accredited to part of her namesake). The lore surrounding the ritual states that participants could be screamed at by the apparition, have their eyes scratched out, or even drinking their blood."
Who is she?

If you are seeking a challenge (or would rather like to try your hand at a cryptid), this one's for you:

"_______ is a legendary part man, part goat, and part sheep creature (like a distant cousin of the GoatMan), reported to live beneath a railroad trestle bridge over the creek in a neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky. While there are numerous urban legends as to the creatures origins (such as the creature originally being a circus freak, vowing revenge after being mistreated, or a farmer that once sacrificed goats for satanic powers, reincarnated into this new form) , and the methods it employs to get its victims, you can often find those sources saying that the creature could use hypnosis, or voice mimicking to lure trespassers into oncoming trains, or that it even attacks with a blood-stained axe, with the sight being so terrifying that many are driven to jumping off the trestle."

_____

Now that we have two (of many) cryptids, and folklore, we have to ask you, what are some of your favorite local (or internet) folklore (or cryptid) stories?
