5 Months Later

He rubbed his hands down my shoulders, past my elbows, and entwined his fingers through mine. I leaned back into him as he left feather like kisses down the back of my neck and onto my shoulder. Soft sighs left my parted lips as I melted into him. If it wasn't for all of the guests that were currently filling our living room, I would be half tempted to let him take off my dress and do something else with his hands. From what I was feeling behind me, he probably wouldn't mind it either. The more I stayed molded against him, the more I wanted to let my inhibitions go. If only there weren't a few guests down stairs that would be marching up here at any moment to figure out why we weren't showing our faces yet.

"You know," Killian dropped one of his hands onto the top of my thigh, "We could just send everyone home."

"Yeah," I snorted, "You try telling my aunt and uncle to go away."

"We can have them take Aubrey with them," he placed a kiss right below my ear, "Give us some more alone time. Don't have to worry about getting you pregnant."

I couldn't stop my laughter. Looking down, I started rubbing small circles around the curb of my stomach. The baby was growing so fast. The doctor felt confident that the baby was going to be big. It was hitting all of it's mile stones.

"You're right, because you already did that."

"What can I say, I'm a boss at everything I do."

Rolling my eyes, I slapped his hands away and pushed my self off of our bed. Killian grinned up at me, a mischievous gleam in his eyes, "Somehow I swear your head gets a little bit bigger every single day. One of these days it's going to get so big you won't be able to hold it up."

"That's fine. You can just leave it laying between your legs."

"Killian!"

"Don't Killian me. Tell me when you didn't enjoy me being between them?"

"We have guests over right now!"

"Yeah, down stairs, and we are up here."

"How do you know someone isn't outside our door getting ready to yell at us?"

"Because Aubrey has been the star of the show since she woke up. You can't really think we were able to just sneak away? Those people down there let us come up here."

"Well either way," I held my stomach and smiled, "I know I'm not the only one whose excited to learn what we are having. Don't you want to know if we are having a little girl again, or if you're finally getting your mini-me?"

"I thought Aubrey was my mini-me."

"In attitude maybe." I scoffed. Aubrey was a lot like her dad in the attitude department, but she was starting to look more like me every single day. The only feature that wasn't mine on her was her eyes. She had the same exact color of her daddy.

"I don't know," he whistled as he pulled himself off of the bed and grabbed my hand, "She's definitely been giving off some Mia vibes here lately. Hardly listens to anything I say these days."

"I listen!"

"Right, like I didn't catch you sneaking into the officer last week."

"I had a file I needed to get!" He had caught me red handed trying to get into my office. Max had told me he was in a meeting, but didn't inform me that it had been cut short. Christopher must have said something to him about the file, cause right as I was opening the door, he came out of no where and closed it in my face.

"And I remember telling you that I would get you what ever you needed. All you had to do was ask."

"Well I can do it myself."

"Some times I just think that you like disobeying me."

"Who me," I batted my eye lashes at him with a soft smile, "I would do no such thing."

"Liar." He kissed me on the lips, and pulled us out of the room.

By the time we got downstairs, everyone had already arrived. Aubrey was playing dolls with Ella while my aunt watched over them. Victoria had little Willow in her hands, the tiny baby fast asleep in hers mother embrace. Lucian and my uncle were in the own little world, talking with Marc, Anthony, and Christopher, while Austin was playing with Tristian. Anthony's wife was in the kitchen with Rachel and Molly, their martinis almost completely drank. Everyone looked so happy.

"Sorry for the wait," Killian started in order to gather everyone's attention, "We just wanted to thank you all for showing up. We both really appreciate it, especially for those of you who had to drive or fly in order to be here."

"So we didn't want to do anything to grand. Just something small for everyone who has changed and made an impact on not only our lives, but also Aubrey's." She grinned up at me from her spot on the ground but stayed playing.

"But who doesn't like a little bit of competition," he gave me a side eye. He loved my competitive nature whether he wanted to admit it or not, "So if everyone who thinks it's a girl move to the right, and everyone who thinks it's a boy move to the left. Then we can get this started."

Everyone began moving. By the time the room separated, it looked to be about even. Smiling I took a step to left while Killian took a step to the right.

"Really," I chuckled, "You think your getting another girl?"

"What can I say," he smiled, "All the women in my life have been a blessing so far. Wouldn't mind a third one."

I blushed at his words and some of the comments made by our guests. He loved putting me in the spot light if possible. Add some embarrassment on my end and he was golden.

Molly gave us both a grin and then stormed into the hallway. When she came out she was holding a large black balloon with pink and blue questions marks. She was the only person who actually knew what we were having. I had trusted everything to her.

From the set up for the party, all the way to the reveal itself. I knew she was the one person I could count on to get everything right, and she didn't let me down.

The cupcakes had been delicious. They melted in your mouth with every single bite. The icing was pink and blue swirled with little edible pearls on them. Every cup that someone was drinking from either had a blue rim or a pink one, something she actually did on her own. She was quite creative when she wanted to be.

As she crossed the living room, she grabbed Aubrey's hand and walked her over to us. I picked her up in my arms as Killian took the balloon from Molly, along with a small needle for the popping.

"Alright Aubrey, what do you think? Little brother or little sister?"

"I want a puppy!" She beamed. Everyone laughed as I pulled her in close and kissed her cheek. Sorry kid, definitely not getting that yet.

"Well you're getting something better."

"Two puppies!"

"Definitely her moms personality," Killian chuckled as he rubbed his hand across her head, "Wanting to be the center of attention."

"I do not." I whined. Center of his attention, maybe. But that was it.

"Mmm, if that's what you think," he leaned forward and placed a swift kiss to my cheek, "Alright, you ready."

I nodded my head with a grin.

Killian and I locked eyes as the room started to count down from five. Deep down, neither of us cared about what we were having. We just wanted a healthy baby to call ours. We wanted to see Aubrey grow up into her big sister role that we both knew she was going to be great at. I don't know how the two of us turned out so lucky, but someone out there had made sure that the two of us found our way back to each other.

I heard the word one register in the back ground and then tiny pieces of blue confetti rained down over the three of us. Aubrey reached out to grab it all as the room cheered and I stepped into Killian's embrace. He kissed me roughly on the lips, whispering endearing words of love and praise. I couldn't stop my tears.

We were having a boy.

Just like Killian had a little version of me, I was going to be getting a little version of him. My heart pounded in my chest at the thought of it. I could already imagine both my strapping men dressed up in matching black suits. Both of them with that stupid grin that always made my heart melt.

I dropped a hand onto my stomach and looked down. I already loved him so much.

"I love you, Mia." Killian took Aubrey from my arms and placed her on the ground. She grabbed handfuls of the confetti as Killian pulled me into a hug and kissed me again.

"We're having a little boy." I beamed at him.

"We are, and there is something I have to do."

"What's that?"

He smiled at me before turning back towards everyone else in the room, "I know this is definitely something Mia and I should talk about together, but this was a decision I had made on my own since I learned she was pregnant. It was a decision that I had put into place if our baby turned out to be a boy." He looked back down at me, endless love and devotion heavy in his gaze. I wanted to kiss him so bad, but my curiosity was getting the best of me. I wanted to know if I was going to be killing my own husband tonight or not. I hated it when he made decisions without me, especially when it had to do with our kids.

"What did you do," my uncle scoffed as he threw an arm around his wife, "Pick out a name?"

Everyone in the room laughed, but it died down when Killian's actions and gaze told us that was exactly what he had done.

"I'm going to kill you, Killian. We are not naming our son Killian Jr. End of discussion."

"First of all, hurtful," he feigned painfully, "Secondly, I actually did not go with Killian Jr, thank you very much." He dropped his hands down to my stomach and smiled softly. God I wanted to slap him from looking at me like that. It made me want to melt into his arms. It made being upset with him harder then it should be. "So without further ado," his grin widened, "Here is to our future son, Michael Lucian Cross."

If my heart could break from every damn good emotion out there, it would have been in that very moment. From the second I heard my fathers name come out of his lips, I'd never loved him more in my life. My lip trembled as the tears started. The room went quiet as I threw myself into my husbands arms. I didn't have to look to know that my uncle was probably in the same spot. This was way more then I would have ever expected from this man.

"It's the perfect way to honor the man that helped create the other half of my soul. I love you, Mia."
