Chapter six: Maya POV
After he left I went to the the parking lot to find my girls. They were all looking at me.

"What?" I ask.

"What happened?" Riley asked me.

"Nothing." I shrug, I hate lying but I have to.

"Well, where are we going?" They ask me.

"To get our nails done, of course." I say like it's the most obvious thing ever. They smile and nod.

[At nail shop]
As the lady was finishing my nails I decided to ask my girls a good question, "Would you guys be mad if I went out with Joshua?" I ask. Missy turns my way. Riley was at the drying station so she couldn't hear me.

"What-why do you ask?" Missy asks me.

"Because he might ask me out." I say to her. Skylar looks my way.

"¿Está usted si su maldita mente? Por supuesto que me gustaría estar loco ? ¿Por qué incluso considerar salir con esa cosa? ¿Qué mierda de vida estás haciendo con tu vida , tratando de fecha de ese chico." Skylar yells in Spanish. I tilt my head.

"She said, Are you out if your damn mind? Of course I would be mad? Why would you even consider dating that thing? What the living fuck are you doing with your life, trying to date that boy." Missy explains.

"I was just asking dang." I say rolling my eyes.

I bit my lip and hesitantly ask, "What about Lucas?" Riley runs over here jumping up and down.

"Yes,yes a million times yes!" She shouts, I look at her strangely.

"What?" She asks looking at me.

"Nothing my little Ray of sunshine." I say to her, she squeals and starts spinning around but trips on Missy's chair and falls on her face. We all look at her and back at me.

"Just wondering." I say, the rest of the night we didn't mention the girls but I began to think...would it be that bad?
