Firstly, thanks for reading Chicago Typewriter. I appreciate it, and I appreciate the comments and of course the sunny blasts of encouragement. 

Secondly, Drew. 

Drew Lucy grouchily shuffled into my brain as I wrote an Ace Carroway story (I write a lot of Ace Carroway stories). Afterwards, of course, I wondered exactly where this snarky gumshoe had come from, and how he had landed in Hyannis, Cape Cod, Massachusetts (the setting of the Ace story). So Chicago Typewriter is Drew's backstory, and the second Drew story I've penned. The end of it made me cry, so I thought maybe it was worth sharing.

Thirdly, things are supposed to come in threes . . . but . . . I got nothin'.
