Storm's PoV

"I said get out. I am not having your presence endanger the peace and sanity the gods are in right now. Now leave."

"I never said you couldn't throw her out. I just said you should wait for the council to vote to throw her out."

"If she really is an enemy of the gods, sending her away to plot something that we have no way of knowing about isn't the wisest decision."

The voices swirled around my head as I left the pavilion. I don't know why I cared. This was exactly what was supposed to happen. Why did I feel like I had a lump in my throat and I was being stabbed? "Pain. Sadness." I mumbled out loud. I shook off the feeling. This is stupid. I have a job to do. I need to learn how to get a grip. I took a few deep breaths before I entered the Hermes cabin. I looked at the sleeping bag for a second before I started to try and figure out how it worked. I finally slipped inside and moved the metal thing to close the fabric. The door to the cabin opened, and I closed my eyes, making it look like I was asleep. I felt two people standing over me, and there were many other people staring at me. It was silent for a long time. I almost gave up and turned to tell them to leave me alone when someone spoke.

"Is it safe for us to sleep in here with her?"

Someone else let out a breath. "We don't have much of a choice, Cecil."

"She's making the gods scared. I don't like how the gods are scared of her. They don't usually go out of their way to threaten a demigod. Who is she?" A new voice said.

The second voice replied, "Travis, I don't like it either, and no one knows. There's no point in asking the same question over and over again. Come on guys. Give her space. It's time to go to bed."

The person closest to me walked over to the other person that was close to me. Then the third voice whispered, "Connor, I'm not going to let her hurt our siblings. She can sleep in the Big House!"

"Like I said before, we have no choice. She's staying, so I guess we have to get used to her." The second voice responded.

No one said anything after that. I listened to them as one by one they fell asleep. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I got out of my sleeping bag and stood up. I needed to take a walk.

The sky outside was a dark blue. It was so dark, it almost looked black. Little dots of yellow, white, red, and blue lights lit up the sky. I took in a sharp breath. It captivated my attention, and I couldn't look away. I turned in a circle and found a huge white circle with smaller gray holes inside it glowing in the sky. It seemed to make me forget my thoughts. It made me forget the whispers that followed me all day. It made me forget my powers, the plan, and everyone's looks they gave me.

I walked on in order to find a place where a random camper wouldn't easily find me. I ended up walking out to a place where the land met the water. I went out to the water's edge. The ground resembled that of my old home, but it seemed lighter some how. I bent down to touch it, and it felt soft. It was definitely not the texture I was expecting. I looked out over the water as I sat down. It was as still as glass. The lights in the sky reflected off of the surface. There was a gentle breeze that was cool instead of hot like I was used to. I felt like how it feels when someone was about to fall asleep, but I wasn't tired. My body was heavy in a sense that I didn't want to move, but it wasn't uncomfortable. It was the opposite of chaos. I didn't know what it was called, but I liked it. It was something I never knew. Something my father would disapprove of. I liked it.

I was changing, and I didn't know if it was for the better.

What does this make me now?

I was able to write this chapter on paper at school! Score!

Anyway, I know it's an extremely short chapter, but the next one will be longer. I promise. I hope you guys liked it!
