Chapter 2 : Confrontation!

"Hahaha wo toh hain! Tang kiya hain kiya aapko Ridan ne waise? Agar woh aapko zayada tang karey naa toh aap sidha hamare paas aayiyega, hum unki kaan khichenge! Waise kal se Ridan hi aapko aapki class mein drop kar denge roz, So aap dono aache se baat karlena aaj, ek dusre ki timing jaan lena. Kuch bhi kehne se sharmana maat beta... Theek hain!
(That's right. Is Ridan troubling you too much? If he does, just tell me, I will pull his ears.
Btw, from tomorrow Ridan will be dropping you to your classes. So you two discuss the timings by today. And don't feel shy about asking for anything that you need dear. Alright?)'' Daadi affirmed Eyneet.

Eyneet simply replied 'yes' with another warm smile!

10 pm. Night.

She is feeling damn sleepy! Because she didn't have the right amount of sleep yesterday while today, the whole day went into various work and gossiping with Dev, Isha ,Vicky!

But even now Eyneet can't sleep as Saroj rightfully advised her in the morning. She does need to talk to Ridan about her schedules after all he is the one who would be dropping her to the classes!

Not to mention, how unwantedly enough she kind of missed him the whole day! Ridan was subconsciously present in her thoughts throughout! Sweetly annoying! The pain of love is sweet and bitter as they say!

Her childhood playmate who has turned too handsome & maintaining his well-built toned body a little too well to raise the heat!

"Why he had to maintain such an athletic figure. As if he was less attractive without all the muscles! But why? For whom? Must be for his Gf...Huh! Why do I even care..."

Her cribbing was disrupted as the house servant named Nakul knocked informing her that Ridan has arrived!

Eyneet stood up swiftly and began to step closer to Ridan's room.

Looking at the silent door, She knocked! Fidgeting!

No replies! She knocked again and then saw Daadi approaching the hallways. Seeing her standing with a confused expression, Daadi advised Eyneet to get inside Ridan's room and wait there as Ridan is probably in the shower. Also, she told Nakul to get food for both Ridan and Eyneet to be served in Ridan's room.

Though hesitating slightly inside yet Eyneet couldn't say no to Daadi and she simply dragged her feet entering Ridan's room.
An elegant big room that is! But it lacked colors to a great extent! Expected!
Ridan's room also consisted of a study alongside his bed!

Exhausted throughout the whole day she started feeling sleepy again and Eyneet being Eyneet instead of waiting on the gigantic sofa sat on Ridan's bed. While waiting her eyes were becoming heavy like stones! She didn't even know when she closed those eyelids and drifted off into slumber!

Meanwhile, unaware of all, an oblivious Ridan draped up only in a towel stood outside the washroom to get his inners and clothes. He noticed that he forgot to lock his main door hence rushing he locked the door instantly. His bed was at the other corner of the room so he failed to notice a peacefully sleeping Eyneet there!

After locking the door, turned his eyes around to find the food served on the table. Those were warm as they were in heat-protected bowls. But Why food for two people, he got confused!!

And there, Eyneet woke up with the cluttering noise of Ridan moving the plates. As soon as she opened her eyes her visions captured Ridan only in a mere towel, half nude!

Water still dripping from his hair! His broad shoulder! His masculine body is looking so darn appealing! Along with his straight manly face and that clenched jaw to die for!

Eyneet thought she is in some lucid dream but then realizing it's reality she ran her mouth in a panic, "Aa aa aap kab aaye...(Y..Y.. w.. When did you come...)" Still on Ridan's bed!

Surprised, Ridan turned around and saw her horror-filled eyes! As he moved too fast getting startled so while moving his towel brushed hard against the mini table where all the meals were being kept! But that's not all, with the shock of his life or rather Eyneet's wildest dreams the grip of his towel wide opened!!!!

Eyneet's mouth also was going to be opened widely but with a nick of time, Ridan jumped towards her with big laps before he tripped and caught her mouth with his hand! As a result, he pinned Eyneet into his bed and there he was, right on top of her body! Without a single fiber on his body to mention!!

Very inappropriate situation and position! He was fully naked and on top of that, his whole body was pressing against this poor girl who had just woken up from sleep and getting shocks of life after another!

Now with his hand on her mouth, she can't even scream! But that doesn't mean she is going to stop trying! She is Eyneet Mehta after all!

Her muffled scream was shut off by an equally agitated Ridan's voice, "Oh please Eyneet Shut up! It's just an accident okay! What the hell are you even doing in my room? And for god sake close your damn eyes!
Or you like staring like old perverts!"

Immediately she closed her eyes shut as Ridan spoke again, "Now let me take the duvet so just stop wriggling you are making things worse...Just so that you know!" Eyneet kept being rooted to the bed. Her stole had fallen off her shoulders ages ago!

With the deadly nearness, she could smell his after-shower fragrance and felt becoming unbelievably weak. She could feel her cursed neurons had given the control over to her hormones! It felt strange and new.

Inadvertently, she opened her eyes, finding Ridan looking at her. Lovingly!

His face is very close to hers. And those aromatic breaths are falling on her face! A few drops of water dribbled onto her face.

She felt his virile iron grip on her hands and waist. Both her hands were pinned behind her head with his one hand. She realized that man is too damn strong for her fragile frame. And too much alluring as well! Getting flushed red with her own thoughts she looked away.

Meanwhile, Ridan took the duvet silently and wrapped it around him, freeing her from his grip.

Eyneet gingerly dragged her body up and sat on the edge of the bed, still looking at the man she loves. And then realization struck her. Ridan didn't even touch her inappropriately or anything, he is not like that so why was she scared like a fool in the first place! Rather he seemed upset. Fuming with a silent anger!

However, Ridan lifted his hand and Eyneet who was lost in her thoughts just saw a shape moving towards her face and so again got startled mistaking it as a slap in her absent-mindedness!!

She closed her eyes with a defensive reflex. Ridan was puzzled by her odd gesture as he articulated, "Relax, There are water drops all over your face I am just wiping those!"

He gently touched her soft pale skin, wiping all the traces of water. Eyneet shivered at his mere touch. He is literally making her crazy now! Helpless, she doesn't know what these strange feelings should be named or how to deal with them!

"I am a fool! How could I even think Ridan would raise his hand on me?" Rebuking herself, Eyneet remembered the bruises on Harbir caused by Ridan!

Oh no! Not a good time to reminisce about the past! She is getting weak again, she has to leave this room soon!

"I am sorry Ridan, mujhe yahan nahin aana chahiya tha, aapki permission ke bagair.

Aur aur... Aapke bed pe bhi aise nahin so jana chahiye tha, wo kiya hain ki naa kaal na mujhe raat ko neend nahin aayi thi aur aaj bada subha subha uth gayi toh meri neend complete nahin huwi thi.

Main soo jati Par daadi maa ne kaha aapse baat karne ko meri classes ke bare mein. Kal se I have to go to college naa, so main yaha aapka intezaar kar rahi thi aur kab aankh lag gayi mujhe pata bhi nahin chala.

I am so so sorry again! Ok, bye Abb na main chalti hoon!" Breathlessly she said in one go.
(I am sorry Ridan, I shouldn't have come here like this without your permission.
And.. And.. I.. I shouldn't have fallen asleep on your bed. The thing is that I couldn't sleep well yesterday night and then today I had to wake up early in the morning so my sleep cycle was not completed.
I was going to sleep but then granma told me that I should talk to you regarding my classes. I have to attend my classes from tomorrow so I was just waiting for you.. But then I don't know how and when I fell asleep.
I am so so sorry again! Ok, bye, I gotta go!)

As her lips were moving nonstop, the things she was saying were registering in Ridan's mind pretty vaguely. Because his mind was preoccupied with the thoughts of taking her lips into his and give a good sucking to those little plump devils who keeps arousing him. That beautiful mole just above her lips is enough to make him want to kiss her so badly! It's not a mystery that she makes him crazy with her antics!

"Chup, bilkul chup, kitna bolti ho tum...Ssshh..(Silence.. How much do you talk.. Ssshh)" He said while still staring at her lips.

Eyneet stood up revolting, "Kiyah? Main bolti hoon? Abhi toh maine bolna shuru bhi nahin kiya, aapne jo kiya aaj subhe aur abhi wo toh main acchi vali sorry keh rahi hoon aapko aur aap hain ki hamesha ki tarha mujhe tewar dikha rahe hain Mr Ridan Kapoor...
(What? I talk much? I haven't even started saying anything after what you have just done now and also in the morning.
Out of politeness, rather I was the one apologizing, and you.. Mr. Ridan Kapoor, like always You are showing me attitude...)" She instantly got hyper since after giving such a big sorry speech Ridan told her to shut up instead. Whereas he should be sorry as well cause he jumped on her naked! Omg!

Now that she is rewinding the whole towel saga inside her brains it's making her angrier! Dare this man tell her to shut up!
Eyneet again started moving her lips to give Ridan some more earful! But before that Ridan took her in his strong arms while sealing her lips with his, making her words dying inside his mouth instantly!

"I missed you Eyneet..." Said Ridan brushing his lips against hers.

Eyneet could not believe what was happening and moreover that she was not feeling awkward or uncomfortable or odd at all. Had she really spent 5 long years without him? Rather she felt she always belonged to be confined in those arms. She so much wanted to be in his arms in all these years. But had to suppress her feelings due to their communication gap so much that she actually forgot how much closer they were when they actually made the promise to marry each other 5 years ago! She missed him too much!

To an excruciating level, she missed him!!

And when she got ignored and he didn't contact she built up a defense mechanism thinking that she meant nothing for him. Also, she thought it was impossible to reach someone's heart as guarded as Ridan's.

"I missed my Mithi si Pari so much! My little fairy..." Saying so with a husky tone, he pecked her lips for some tenth time in this short period of time while her heartbeat rose to peak! It might explode at this point!

Alarmed, Eyneet felt whatever was happening could be fatal if she didn't stop him. Anybody can come too! As Ridan kept continuously pecking her lips, Eyneet was not even able to talk hence she started to wriggle. That definitely didn't work rather he kissed her again with even more intensity and love!

Finally, she put her hand on Ridan's lips while shuddering, " Ridan..Aap kiya kar rahe ho! Ye bilkul theek nahi hain, mujhe jane dijiye, koi aa jayega!
(Ridan.. What are you doing! This is so not right! Let me go, anybody can come here at any moment!)" With that, she hurt his fragile insecure ego! The ego of RK, not Ridan!

RK is always the one having the right to refuse. He is the one who refused girls coming closer to him and here he was willingly kissing her and all she says is to leave her! Isn't she giving herself too much of a credit!

I should make you regret this for forgetting where we both stand. Because you are mine and mine alone.

You might have forgotten the bond that we shared but I will make you remember them and with that, I will make you remember all the rights I freaking have on you damn woman! I hate it when you try to leave me!

Thinking for a bit in a fit of anger, he looked at her innocent face. And dang! All the previous thoughts went down the drain right away.

"So agar koi nahin aata hain toh theek hain? (If nobody comes then it's fine by you?)" With a mysterious smirk, Ridan asked.

"... k ...kiya keh rahe ho aap ye...(..W.. Wha.. What are you saying .. this...)" Stuttering badly, Eyneet again made big eyes and looked at him with disbelief.

"I said I missed you Pari..." In front of her innocence, Ridan couldn't hold his ego even for a second long, and proved Ridan's love for her was bigger than RK's ego.
He added more words of love politely, "Not just today, from the past god knows how many years I have been missing you"

But that just invited a whole world of storms inside Eyneet!

"Haan, isiliye aapne mere mails ka jawab yes no mein diya aur phir sarey contacts off kar diye. Main kaisi hoon kaha hoon, zinda hoon ke bhi nahi , koi farak nahi pada aapko pichle 5 saalo mein, Aur abhi main yaha hoon isiliye baas kehne ke liye keh rahe ho.
(Sure! That's why you answered my mails with mere yes and nos. And then stopped all the contacts. How am I, where am I, if am alive or not, none of it mattered to you for the past 5 years.
Just because now I am in front of you so you are just saying stuff for the sake of saying.)" All her pain started leaking from her eyes.

She again got confused at herself why is she even crying? What for?

She tried to control but the more she tried more tears started flowing endlessly!

In the morning she did hold her tears back when he held her in proximity but why can't she control now? Because he said he missed her? Even sounded genuine, and knowing Ridan who has a reputation for hiding his feelings why would he even bother to lie to her? If he says he missed her then does it mean it's true? If so then why was he pushing her away all these years?

Eyneet looked at his mourning face with all the complaining questions while a dumbstruck Ridan simply couldn't believe he made her cry this easily!!! She is appearing so heartbroken!

He knows his Eyneet is unpredictable, fragile and innocent by nature. Small things may hurt her the most at times. During their childhood days, she would start crying merely seeing some bird struggling to feed its child. Such pure-hearted she is. He even promised himself that he would never let tears escape from those beautiful eyes. Hence after that Eyneet never cried in front of him or mostly avoided crying if he was around because he simply couldn't see tears in her eyes. He used to get really mad if he sensed she was sad!

What an irony! Today after all these years he finally met her and had her in his arms but witnessed those tears whom he valued so much. But not because those are tears of joy!

Confounded, he can't even figure out what to say, how to stop her tears.

His grip around her frame became loose. He had a hope that eventually he would make things right but it seems Eyneet has gone so far, so much hurt by him!

It's a bit unbearable for him and RK is not very good at handling guilt or pain. He has been doing that as well for past years and now when he is having a face-off he doesn't know how to approach her!

"Koi jawab nahin hain naa aapke paas? (You don't have an answer now do you?)" Eyneet said again throwing some more guilt at Ridan.

"Tum please maat ro Pari, maine jo kuch bhi kiya uske piche kuch wajah hain, please tum maat ro, mujhe ek mauka toh do. (Please stop crying, love. What I did had a reason. But you please don't cry, just give me one chance to explain)"

"Koi wajah nahin hain Ridan, aur agar hoga bhi aapko koi jarurat nahin hain mujhe safai dene ki Ridan, it's ok. Main hoon hi kaun? Baas bachpan mein hum ek sath khelte thhey, bachpan chala gaya hum dono bade ho gaye, aap apne rastey chaley gaye main aapne rastey... aur waise bhi aap toh mr brilliant RK ho na, mujh jaisi mamuli ladki se nata rakhna aapkjo shova nahi data.
(There is no reason Ridan. And even if there is then you don't need to bother giving me explanations. Who the hell am I even? We just used to play in childhood, a mere playmate to you. Childhood over, we grew up. You went down on your way and so did I.
Anyway, you are the mighty brilliant RK.. Having ties with some mundane girl like me doesn't match your status.)" Her words made it clear how deeply hurt she is. Surprisingly she got shocked with her own words. Never thought she would have this confrontation so early!

Tears were not stopping, she never thought she could say these things to Ridan nor she knew he meant so much to her. Till this day! But then she thought she said too much, why is she even bothering? Therefore, she spoke again, "Main bhi pata nahin kiya kiya bakwas kar rahi hoon , bohot raat ho gayi hain...
(Don't mind me, I am just rambling meaningless words now.. It's getting late at night..)" Couldn't complete it due to her tears as she focused on making them stop.

Looking at a silent Ridan, Eyneet wiped her tears as he was standing numb, staring blankly at the floor. Then he sneezed due to cold AC as he didn't dry his hair tonight because of all the nuisance that has happened.

Now Eyneet felt guilty looking at his innocent face and red nose. To her utter despair just then she noticed tears sparkling through Ridan's sad eyes.

"Wait wait! Did I just see.. Is that a sprinkle of tear?"

The moment she tried to touch Ridan's face he dragged her outside his room and closed his door shut. Eyneet's mind couldn't even register what had just happened.

Also amidst all this, her stole was left aside on Ridan's bed. She was actually without her stole all this time, strangely without feeling odd! Now in contrast to that while Eyneet is in that huge hallway she felt super odd and scared thinking what will happen if someone sees her like this!
