Pamela curled the corners of her textbook, she was trying to concentrate but couldn't help but think about that meeting.

What was Mr Aldin talking about? What is he planning? How far is this plan? If Phillip wants her to help, would there be enough time? What would she even do?

She got out of her relaxed posture when the bedroom door opened. It was Lacey. She flashed Pamela a friendly grin, Pam returned an unnerved one.

"You alright?" Lacey asked with her eyebrow slightly raised.

Pamela bit her lower lip and exhaled, "Yeah... just a little tired,"

Lacey leaned against the bedroom wall with folded arms, "still getting nightmares?"

Pamela chortled, "Yeah... they're about..."

She didn't want to finish her sentence. Lacey stopped leaning against the wall, becoming more curious. "About what?"

"Nothing, forget what I said,"

Lacey remained silent, "nothing doesn't look so spooked. Tell me, we're  supposed to be sisters now, and sisters tell each other everything,"

She walked up to Pamela and held onto her bed, "I have your back, we're family,"

Pamela grinned. That sounded amazing. For the first time in her life, she didn't have to keep everything to herself.

"Well, my dreams are... strange,"

"Yeah?"

She leaned closer towards Lacey and spoke above a whisper, "They're about, Mr Aldin,"

Like her eyes, Lacey's mouth widened. Pamela struggled to read her emotions.

"Lacey, can I ask you a question?"

Lacey gulped, "Sure... I would've wanted to know how you know Mr Aldin, but sure, shoot,"

"What is The Family?"

Lacey instantly broke the connection their eyes held by looking down. Then she climbed up the top bed and sat before Pam. She glimpsed at Pamela for about a second before her eyes began dwelling around the room.

Pamela watched as she fiddled with her fingers. Maybe she's scared?

"H-how did you hear about The Family?" She tried smiling to hide the quiver in her voice

"That doesn't matter. I just wanna know who they are?"

"It's nothing. My friends and I call each other the family because we're so close and we love one another,"

Pamela sneered, "What does that have to do with, Mr Aldin?"

Lacey shook her head, "what makes you think it's connected?"

Silence filled the room. Pamela wasn't sure where to start and what to do. Does she mention Phillip? Does she mention them following Todd?

"Someone... in my dreams, told me that something fishy is going on and that The Family needs rescuing, I-I just wanna help. But I don't know what I'm helping with,"

Lacey's eyes drooped as she slouched. She sighed, "If I tell you the truth, you have to stay away. Please? It's too late to help anyone,"

"Help anyone from what? Mr Aldin?"

Lacey held Pamela's hands and squeezed them firmly. She opened her mouth, and just as she was about to say something she started to scream instead.

"Lacey! Are you okay?"

Pamela panicked. No one else is home and she has no idea what to do. Lacey's lips were bleeding and it looked like stitches were sewn onto them. Lacey cried it was as if the amount of pain she felt was indescribable. Pamela watched as the sharp needle settled into Lacey's soft flesh, slowly shutting her mouth with each stitch.

"Lacey!" she yelled again, the room around them went pitch black. Pam was caught off guard.

"Lacey? Where are we?" She asked, looking at the nothingness that surrounded them. Lacey mumbled, then winced. Pamela felt helpless seeing the pain her cousin was in.

It slowly started to look like a mansion, Mr Aldin's mansion.
She saw a man descending the stairs, and he walked directly toward her.

Her heart beat fastly, she didn't know this man, but she recognized him. It was him. His aura frightened her, his dark energy.

"What do you want?" She asked and noticed that the mirage of the man twitched now and then.

"I ask the questions here," he said, and his voice had a weird echo.

"If you think you can come here and take control, Pamela, you're dead wrong," he said.

"How do you..." She asked, and he placed his finger on her mouth to shush her.

"I know you, Pamela, I know you all. I know the weak ones and the strong ones. I know which ones are a threat, and which ones are soon to be mine. Let me give you some advice, newbie," the man said and placed his mouth in her ear.

"Stay away and stop asking questions. Or else. "

He threatened and before she knew it, they were back in their room. Lacey's stitches fell off.

"Please Pamela, listen to Mr Aldin and stay away. You could die, I could die. Do you want that?"

Pamela felt awful. She lowered her head and looked at her fingers she started twiddling. "No."

"Then stay away and don't prey."

Lacey warned, and Pamela listened. She promised to stay away from all this madness.
