We have to obey Christ, be led by the Spirit and serve God that's what He's requiring from us. We are being made perfect in Christ. For the unbelieving,there are greater punishment than the one of the law of Moses for them.

The bible tells us to believe that Christ died for our sins. We should believe we are saved through Him. We should believe He is the Son of God.

1 John 5:13 says "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life,and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

God wants us to believe in His Son. He wants us to believe because only through then can you have eternal life.

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

You must believe in the Son of God in order for you to have eternal life. It comes with you believing and then would you receive eternal life.

There are certain punishments for the unbelieving and for those who see Christ's death as an unworthy thing.

Hebrews 10:28_29 says

"He that despise Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses;

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of Grace?"

Do not despise the Spirit of Grace (The Holy Spirit) which means not to blaspheme against Him (not to speak irrevantly against Him). Jesus Christ says not to do so became if you do, it shall not be forgiven.

Matthew 12:31_32;

"Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven;

And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man,it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven, neither in the world to come."

Christ came into the world to bring forth salvation to us. He says if we believe in Him, there's eternal life for us. We need to believe that Christ has ended it all and wants us to believe in Him and maintain a steady relationship with God through Him and the guidance of the spirit.

LIFE APPLICATION

*Start believing in the Son of God because only through that would you have eternal life.

*Do not blaspheme against Christ and the Holy Spirit

*Learn to appreciate the Grace of God in your life
