Shreya took a deep breath and exchanged glances with Siddharth. They both wore nervous smiles as they stood before Shreya's mother-in-law.

Siddhart - Good morning, Mom. Actually, we wanted to talk to you and Dad about something important.

MIL - Oh, sure! Kaho...

They entered the room, and Siddharth and Shreya found seats while Shreya's father-in-law looked up from his newspaper.

FIL - What's the matter, kids? You both seem a bit serious.

Siddharth stuttered, "Umm, actually, we... umm..."

FIL - Bolo beta, I hope everything is well.🤔

Siddhart - Ha Papa, sab theek hai... wo... Shreya ko kuch important bat krni thi.🫣

Shreya was surprised with his this statement, as they planned something else last night. She gave him a deadly look.😠

MIL - Ha bolo Shreya.🙂

Shreya (In a bit awkward tone) - We were planning a trip, a special trip, and we wanted to inform you about it.

MIL raised her eyebrows, "A trip? That's great! Where are you planning to go?"

Siddharth tried again, "Well, it's kind of a... honeymoon trip."

There was a brief pause as the room fell silent. Sid's parents exchanged surprised glances.

MIL - Okay! Pr tum dono itne jada nervous kyu ho?🙄

Sid - Wo aaplog hmse milne aaye hai, and we planned this. Actually pehle hi plan ho chuka tha, bookings wagera bhi ho gyi hai.☹️

FIL - Honeymoon? But you guys are already married for almost a year. Why now?
