I watched as the Prince kissed another girl. My heart shattered as I heard Alya and Marinette gasping.

"That's it!" Alya yelled as Marinette followed her lead. "Guys!" I whisper-yelled towards the two girls as Alya dragged the girl away from Plagg.

I facepalmed as Marinette started shaking Plagg. "Are you mad!" Marinette stated as the Princess pulled her away from Plagg.

"Why didn't you do that, when she was kissing him!" Marinette justified as she pointed at the girl. "She made my brother feel like himself," Chloé said in a monotone before her blue eyes changed to a shade of dark grey.

Marinette gasped before bumping into Alya, who also had dark grey eyes.

I started getting surrounded by people with dark grey eyes, as Marinette and I looked at each other. Our eyes weren't dark grey, as we both sighed in relief.

We then paired up together as we tried to stop the girl from causing anymore trouble. However, she got a hold of Marinette, which unfortunately led Marinette's eyes to turn dark grey.

"No!" I cried as the girl was now face-to-face with me. "My stepdaughter would be amazed to meet you," she said as I realized that the girl was my own step-mother!

I then thought of Plagg kissing my stepmother as I mentally gagged. Ew! I  then realized that my own step-mother didn't know that it was me under the mask, which meant I could dance with the Prince. That is, if I could get him back to normal.

"Okay, what did you do to Prince Plagg?" I asked her as she laughed. "I simply made him and the others fall under my spell. However, you're the only one that I haven't touched it," she stated as I smirked.

"Saving the best for last I see?" I asked amusingly before scanning her to see if, anything could give her a sign of where her magic was coming last.

The girl smirked as she watched my movements. "Oh, sweetheart, are you looking for this?" she darkly teased as she revealed a shiny, gold watch.

"If you want it, you'll have to catch me before midnight, or else, everyone will remain this way... Forever!" she said boldly before she snapped her fingers.

I huffed as I glanced at the clock. The time was certainly ten o'clock, which meant that I had a total of two hours. I quickly searched the palace as I raced to find my stepmother.

I found her, twirling her nails on the moonlight before grinning at me. "Finally! I was wondering, when you were going to show up," my stepmother exaggerated as I resisted the urge to facepalmed myself.

"Whatever. This ends now!" I said determinedly as she just laughed before moving her hand. In that moment, the ground shaked as a werewolf appeared.

I managed to steady myself as my eyes widened. Why is there a werewolf! "Go fetch her, boy," my stepmother commanded as the werewolf growled at me.

"Um... Can we talk about this?" I nervously asked as I had Cynophobia, or fear of dogs. Even though, werewolves aren't classified as dogs, they still stand on their four legs and have fur.

She only smirked as the werewolf ran in my direction. Without hesitation, I started running. "Universe, I was kind! Why, must you throw crazy things in my path! At least, let me live!" I yelled to the sky before tripping on the stairway.

Ugh! Why does he have so many stairs! I huffed to myself before seeing that it was a quarter towards midnight. The werewolf ran down the stairs, and towards me.

I took my left heel off as the werewolf jumped. I smirked before using my heel to send the werewolf in another direction. To my surprise, it disappeared in a flash, before I facepalmed.

My stepmother tricked me, by using an illusion on me. Pretty clever, but not clever enough. I then placed my left heel on, as I started running back inside the palace.

"Did you finally give up?" she teased as I shook my head. "No, because where's the point in that?" I asked her, as this confused her.

Without hesitation, I quickly grabbed her watch before stepping on it. The glass broke as strains of purple stream started to leave.

"No!" she cried as she returned back to her regular form. Everyone was returned back to normal as Marinette and Alya ran to hug me.

"You're okay!" the three of us, said in unison before bursting into laughter. My stepmother growled before leaving the palace.

"Ugh..." I heard someone say as I turned around to see Prince Plagg, trying to regain his balance but failed, as he almost fell. Hey, that rhymed!

Off-topic, I know. Anyway, I helped him stand up as he smiled at me. He looked relieved to see me, although, I wonder if it was because of my looks...

Nah, it was probably because of something else. "Can I have this dance?" we asked at the same time before laughing.

Plagg nodded as we danced onto the dance floor. We smiled as Marinette danced with Adrien, and Alya was dancing with Nino.

The room was silent as we enjoyed just being together. Before I knew it, midnight striked, as I jumped. "I have to go!" I said before pulling away. Marinette and Alya watched as I ran down the stairs.

I trip again, before this time, losing my right heel. I wanted to go back, but because I was in, such a rush, I left it there.

"Wait! I don't even know your name!" he yelled, but I ignored him as I raced to get home. Luckily, I got home before the others. I changed into my maid clothes as I placed my ball clothes in my hidden drawer.

I, then, collapsed onto my bed, thanking the universe for this night, and prepared to sleep, until Lila yelled, "Cindertikki!"

Oh well, duties call. What will happen now? Find out in the next chapter!

The truth is revealed! Tikki's stepmother became young because of a deal she made (which will be later explained) with a dark sorcerer (again, this will be explained).
