I was running out of my house with my trusty horse, Trixx. Tears filled my eyes as I found myself in the middle of the forest. I sat on a log as I continued crying my heart out...

"Hello," a voice asked as I looked up to see a black-haired male with emerald-green eyes. "Why are you crying?" he asked me as I casually shrugged. "Reasons." I stated as I was hoping to throw him, but he looked determined to get an actual answer from me.

"Can you tell me? Maybe I can help," the male asked/said kindly as I rolled my eyes. "How can I trust a stranger who I just barely met?" I sassily asked him as he stood in a thinking pose before holding out his right hand. "Would you trust me if we were friends?" he asked as I was surprised.

"Sure," I said as I shook his hand. He shook mine and we talked about things until the town's bell rung, indicting that a meeting was about to happen.

The male helped me up as I climbed onto my horse. "Well, thanks for cheering me up," I said sincerely as he smiled. "No problem," he said softly as we both went our different directions until it dawned on me...

"I didn't ask him his name!" I exclaimed to myself as I facepalmed myself several times while mumbling the word 'stupid' over and over. What will happen now? Find out in the next chapter!
