They took one of the egg with them to be studied while the other was place with the volcano of Isla de Mona believe the it will die like it parents but effortlessly the they lost the egg. Unknown to Monarch, the Rodan egg quickly made itself heat proof and made the young quickly evolved to be immune to magma and lava. It was awaken when Gidrah rised up.
