"So what the hell is the plan?" Ice asked, fully recovered from her earlier... episode.

"I say we head west." Hurri said. "We've always had more support there, with Delta airlines and all." Yes, we did have the support of a few major companies. Delta, Target, Honda. Those three alone kept us afloat through a couple of months after NORAD when it seemed like the whole of Wattpad was going to break down and give up.

"I'm down with going to he beach." I said.

Hurri sighed and shook her head. "We still have work to do. I was actually thinking of bringing the whole sec over."

"Even Wolf? She gets some of the best information on Wattpad. And you'd have to uproot Nighty, and he isn't exactly one of us." Ice said.

Hurri opened her mouth, probably to say something scathing, she had always been a little sensitive when it came to the fact that Nighty wasn't a rebel.

"She's right." I said. "But it's not only those two. Warden has been working for half a year now to get near the great firewall, if we uproot him, all of that work gets wasted."

"So just us?" Hurri asked.

"No, I say we bring Luv over, and Fly. What they're working on can be done anywhere." Ice said.

"Question is, how do we smuggle Fly out one of the most secure cities in the entire world?" I asked. "There is a reason Delta doesn't fly in and out of New York."

"That'll be a problem. Maybe we can get her to New Jersey, or Maine, or Massachusetts?" Hurri said, rubbing her chin as she thought.

"The hardest part will be getting her out of the city." Ice said. If we can get her out, we can get her to the west." Ice said.

"We can't smuggle her out of the sewers like we did with Lily, they've put sensors down there. Take one unscheduled peep through a manhole and a dozen Ampo are on you in forty seconds flat." I said, remembering how Cloudmoon went down.

"Why not make it scheduled?" Lily asked. Everyone stared at her. "Oh, come one, none of you thought of that? You have two of the best hackers on this side of the war at your disposal, use them."

"I feel stupid now." I said. "I'll call up Warden. Hopefully the firewalls on the Sewage management control computers are the same as every other public service."

That's when we heard the band. Everyone was on there feet in an instant, but deadly quiet.

"I told you, they're here!" Someone said from above.

Thankfully, we, being smarter than the average humans, had worked up a coded hand signal system for communication. Everyone there was either a part of Warriors for freedom or Storm sec, so no one had to do some quiet translating. Onix pulled open a section of the wall, only marked by the two handles that he used, to reveal an arsenal that made my jaw drop. I have seen some pretty impressive weapons, With Tide's fighters, and with a few other Freedom yearlets, but those were militia weapons. Old school AR-15, maybe an occasional scout rifle, a handful of shotguns. This, though, was the weapons the American Government peacekeeping force (Read: oppressing force) used. AR-711s, a few heavy duty scout rifles, a single sawnoff, enough rounds to supply us for years of constant battle, a few dozen holster belts, crossbelts, grenades, everything you needed to take over a small country.

'That's the newest admin, River!' Lily signed to us. No, she didn't sign an exclamation mark, but given the circumstances, I think we can infer one.

'We're going to have to fight our way out. We have a car on the north corner of this block, and one on the south.' Onix signed. 'I'll head for the north one. You guys head for the south one. Hopefully, they'll focus on me. I have a few tricks up my sleeve that'll get me out.'

I nodded, accepting one of the ARs from Onix, watching him demonstrate the loading and firing sequence of the gun. I took one of the holster belts that had rings to hold AR clips, and slipped my own pistol into the holster. Onix handed me a spare clip, which surprised me. I didn't think, with all this advanced weaponry, there would be clips for older Glocks.

I glanced around, and then did a double take on what Lily was holding. A Javelin V4, the most advanced, destructive, and lightweight rocket launcher there was. It could be held, and fired with practice, with one arm. And by the comfortable was Lily held it, I had a feeling she could do just that. In her other hand was the sawnoff.

'Alright, boys, girls, ladies, gents, let's get this party started.' Onix signed, giving the computer one last glance, currently sowing the six armed men and one handcuffed trator outside of our hidey hole. And if you think, why not just turtle? There's a thing called explosive sealant. Basically, they'd collapse the building on top of us, and we'd slowly starve. If we weren't in it, it would leave us no chance of getting back.

Onix nodded to a control panel. Refuge camps always had an emergency exit, this one was just outside of the building, unfortunately close enough to be buried by rubble in case of an explosive sealant.

We crept up, and out to the surface, being met immediately by two Ampo agents loitering by their cars. Hurri and Ice took them, but we had attracted the attention of our friends inside the building, and we could hear the sirens of soon to be all to close police, probably accompanied by armored transports to block off the road, and deliver trained soldiers to mow us down.

Our friends inside didn't last long. A pair fell to Lily's sawnoff, which she held in her other hand, another pair to Hurri and Ice, And the last two to me. Onix was already sprinting to his car, and we made our beeline for ours. It was... A rusted Honda Civic, probably in the two thousand area of model. But I had seen the same cars before, and Honda certainly could make their most battle ready cars look like they should be on cinder blocks. As we got in, the general look of the car was the same, but as soon as Lily's fingers touched the wheel, the car hummed to life, and the entire dashboard flipped, revealing an array of buttons, and a second steering wheel for the passenger. We all lurched backward as Lily floored the gas, her right and working the stick, her other on the wheel.

"Everyone, Headphone on, now." Lily said, the headphones in question held in clips on the car's ceiling. Everyone put them on, not wanting to be deafened by friendly fire.

"Ice, you know how to use that?" Lily asked, her voice being carried to us by the L-REC like coms on the headphones.

"I trained with the V3, it can't be too different." Ice said, lifting the Javelin up.

"That son of a.." Hurri trailed off. Onix was intentionally drawing the attention of every cop in the city, firing rounds out of his window, and doing donuts like no tomorrow. We quietly slipped in with the morning traffic, but with all the people, got stuck on an intersection with a clear view of Onix. And a clear view of the army issue Javelin V3 missile that no Honda, not even the battle ready ones, could withstand. His car flipped twice in the air, before coming down as little more than a burned out body.

And I just realized I posted this in my random book.

Great job me
