"I'm sorry, we're good on dog biscuits and you are not allowed to enter," the receptionist, the bearded dragon from the day before, pointed out. Gazing up at the lizard, Gidget had her arms crossed. She was getting more frustrated by the second. For starters, he had just assumed she was a girl scout and two he wasn't letting her in, despite the fact she had her badge held out. Her temper about ready to blow, she looked behind her as she asked, "Are you gonna help or not?!"

"Nah, I think I'm good," Tiberius replied, leaning against a wall. Ever since they arrived, he had been staying in the shadows like he didn't want to be seen or something. Gidget figured it was because he didn't want to be seen with a cop. Looking back at the bearded dragon, the Pomeranian spoke in a firm voice, "Sir, I need to get in there. I am a cop and I have some questions that need answered. Now let me in!"

"Sorry, I think you need to rejoin your girl scout group," the bearded dragon responded.

"Listen pal, I'm trying to be nice but you-" Gidget was interrupted by a door shutting behind her. Afraid that Tiberius had taken this time to escape, she whirled around. However, the hawk was still hiding in the shadows. The door had actually opened because Leonard had entered. Walking up to the front desk where she and the bearded dragon were, he immediately recognized the Pomeranian as he exclaimed, "Hello Officer Adams! How's it going?"

"Fine I suppose. I'm on a case and I need questions answered but this guy won't let me in," Gidget murmured. She was honestly about ready to call for backup from some of the other police officers but she didn't want Chief Chloe to think that she was incapable of figuring out this case. She had already wasted three hours. Time was ticking.

Nodding his head quietly, Leonard looked up at the lizard on the front desk. Clearing his throat, the poodle spoke softly, "Come on Bearded Dragon, this is a cop. If she needs something done, then she's gonna get it done. I'm pretty sure Rooster would understand." His eyes widening, the lizard commented, "Crap, I'm so sorry. I thought she was a girl scout. Come on in."

"Thank you," Gidget replied. Following Leonard, she was about to enter the indoor swimming area when she saw that Tiberius was still in the shadows. Grabbing his wing, she pulled him along. "Uh, I don't think-" the hawk started saying but the Pomeranian interrupted, "You and I aren't done yet."

"What are you two doing here?!" a voice growled behind them.
