"I can't thank you enough! You've been such a great help today!" Gidget complimented Tiberius as she followed him towards a building somewhere downtown in the city. Rolling his light brown eyes, the old hawk shrugged his shoulders like it was nothing. Clearing his throat, he explained, "Don't worry. This guy might be new but he's very helpful in situations like this." At that moment, they entered the building. Looking around, Gidget's hopes plummeted.

The place was crawling with hamsters.

"They're all... hamsters?!" Gidget exclaimed, looking up at Tiberius. She, like everyone else, knew that hamsters were not exactly fast. Plus, they had a tendency to get distracted by anything. This was proved when three or four saw a butterfly inside. It gained all of their attention. Snickering quietly, Tiberius patted Gidget on the back as he corrected her, "Nah, not all of them."

"Tiberius!" a young guinea pig squeaked happily. Gidget looked up to see him running over to them. Grinning, Tiberius spread his wings out just as the guinea pig launched himself at the old hawk and hugged him. Returning the embrace, the red tail purred, "Hey Norman. Got your driver's license yet?"

"Nope but I will soon!" Norman answered cheerfully. The young guinea pig was practically radiating with positive energy. Stepping forward, Gidget piped up, "Excuse me, Norman? We need a plate number run. It's urgent. Can you help us?" Nodding his head rapidly, the guinea pig scurried across the floor as he called over his shoulder, "Sure can! Just meet me at my desk. I'm just gonna get my snack first!"

"You're doing this on purpose," Gidget growled in a low voice as she and Tiberius went over to Norman's desk. Snickering, the old hawk smiled at the Pomeranian as he replied casually, "Oh am I now?"

"Okay, what's the plate number?" Norman asked ten minutes later. Jolting upright after almost falling asleep on the desk, Gidget shook herself. Looking down at the guinea pig who was seated in front of a giant keyboard, she sighed. This might be a while. Looking down at her notepad, she read, "T5L0P 7816."

"T..." Norman mumbled, carefully crawling over the keyboard. Pressing the key, he then turned around and murmured, "5... um... what does an L look like?" Showing the guinea pig as best as she could from the other side of the glass barrier, Gidget bit her lip. This was gonna take forever at this point. There was no way this could get any worse.

"Norman, wanna hear a joke?" Tiberius asked out of nowhere. Before Gidget could stop him, Norman looked up from what he was doing and replied, "Yes please!" Flashing a grin at the angry small dog next to him, the old hawk stated, "Why did the hawk cross the road?" A scowl on her face, Gidget huffed and muttered, "It's the chicken, not the hawk. And it was to get to the other side."

"I don't know, why did the hawk cross the road?" Norman asked. Smiling, Tiberius answered, "To eat the chicken on the other side." The two started laughing their heads off at that. When it looked like they were done, Gidget opened her mouth to repeat the plate number. However, Norman's attention was somewhere else as he scurried off to tell the hamsters the new joke he had learned. Frustrated, the Pomeranian slammed her head on the desktop.
