The man in chains eyed the door in a daze as he awaited the death lord's appearance, from what he amassed from the conversation between two men standing guard outside the door if he were to attempt something funny. He could...

He definitely could run away from this rancid, rotten, filthy, and dreary cell and also from the rat that had made his shoe, its favorite source of nutrition. But he couldn't. Whoever had made these steel locks had done a fabulous job. So, he had anticipated their next move.

Call him. The big boss.

Speaking of the devil, the door was flung open and whom he saw, had his heart constricting in disbelief. Even the rat chewing on his shoe didn't annoy him much, because he was extremely ruffled by the man that appeared out of the shadows.

"Y-You are... How can this be possible?"

The man was thunderstruck. How can the reputable man in the business world be... the devil?

He was going to find out very soon.

The suffocating silence prevailed behind as he strode out of the remand room of the Warehouse and was confronted with the impassive face of his cousin.

"You killed him."

It wasn't a question. It was a tacit conclusion, so he didn't bother to acknowledge it.

"How are we supposed to obtain the insight of the stolen weaponry?"

".... 22, East Dock."

His cousin offered him a barren smile, "You didn't perchance comprehend who send him?"

"...Vittal."

His cousin gaped at him as if he had gone insane and chuckled hysterically. "That old duck? He couldn't hurt a fly on his own."

"... Indeed."

Nakul's laughter died in his throat and his expression became grim.

"You mean..?"

".... yes."

"Sh*t!" Nakul hissed to himself and he sighed.

A Sh*t indeed!

Another mastermind.
