Thicketpaw was training with his mentor, Tinystrike, when annoying little Vulturepaw raced in."Screeeeeee!" He yowled, making Thicketpaw's prey run off."Hey! Why do you have to be such a mousebrained piece of foxdung, you kit?" Thicketpaw hissed at Vulturepaw."Why are you so mean? Can't you take a joke?" Vulturepaw teased with a sly smile."Why you....!" He leapt onto Vulturepaw and broke his spine by ramming it, not on purpose.

Since then, all of Thicketpaw's friends avoided him, not like he had many though."I'm sorry..." Thicketpaw apologized to Vulturepaw, who now couldn't walk on his 2 hind legs and had to become a Med. Cat, as he walked into the Med. Cat den one day. Vulturepaw ingored him.

That day, Thicketpaw broke his leg from a "boulder accident", but the new Vulturecall knew what really happened. He refused to heal Thicketpaw's leg so as he grew and it healed, it healed into a twisted form.

As time went on, young Doveflutter knew what had happened because of her Wide Knowledge power. "Vulturepaw had telekinesis then! Right?" She had hypothesized, and after awhile it was proven most likely true.
