perhaps because of the way she was treated in the past, eclipse has grown rather closed off and cocky. she tries to avoid interaction with others, and when she can't, she meets them with her head held high and rude jabs at the tip of her tongue. even with those she is close with, her attitude does not get any softer, though she doesn't seem as irritated.

born to a mother that was anything but fit to raise a child, yelling and screaming when things didn't go her way, eklipse didn't exactly have a nice childhood. at some point, she snapped - she took her brother, scratched her mother across the face, and then left. a stupid, naive choice, that was, as the outside world was not any kinder. her brother had always been frail, and she had to watch him slowly grow even weaker because of hunger before dying in an interaction with a kirin. eklipse only made it away because of her abilities, and she was eventually taken in by natblomst and moxie: at first, she only agreed in order to survive, but now, she finds that she actually wants to stay.
