Kai stands at 6'1 tall with a pale complexion, a thin build, and with dark brown eyes, a mole just beneath the right. She has short, black hair, unkempt and messy with bangs falling into her eyes. He often wears a little bit of eyeliner no matter what gender he identifies as that day, liking the slight feminine appeal it gives him to counter his more masculine choice of clothing + overall appearance.

Kai is... a little on the offensive side, to say the least. He is quick to open his mouth and has a bad habit of bringing curse words into his every sentence - due to his love for writing, they have quite the impressive vocabulary too - and it's pure instinct for her to hit back when she's harassed in any way. However, he's not very physically strong which probably comes from much preferring staying inside slouched on his bed instead of doing anything athletic, so they try to keep their fights to verbal only. Where he doesn't have much muscle, she has brains and does well in the more strategic fields- she's the type to make the plan but not have the physical strength to carry it out. With their friends, she is a big tease and never lets anyone get away with anything without a somewhat-snarky remark, tho thats something that aspires from having trouble wording the worry she feels for her friends- despite how he seems, he's quite the overthinker and has a tendency to always assume the worst from the beginning. 

𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛𝗦 
--> good at academics as long as he doesn't have to use more than his brains for solving and his hands for writing it down. fetches some high grades in knowledge-based/non-physical subjects.
--> his little muscle power is made up for her through his stealth and exceptional ability to go unnoticed (as long as she is not riled up)
--> has a talent for gathering intel through the internet by pretending to be someone they're not. good at picking up mannerisms and putting them to use through a keyboard.

--> extremely short-tempered. where she is stealthy, it doesn't mean shit if she hears some comment on his parents, because then he'll abandon his role and jump them, starting a fight he won't win; while he tries to keep his fights verbal, this part only remains true if he's not really mad.
--> bad at feelings. watch him insult his friend in an attempt to cheer them up. 
--> sleep? what's that? she has a very unstable sleep schedule and stays up late writing, watching some shitty netflix series, or doing work. has gained her the habit of yawning every fifth second when she's not having a conversation.

Born into a wealthy family, - his dad a famous singer and author, his mom a talented lawyer, uncle a highly praised doctor - Kai never had to worry about money, yet didn't grow up spoiled. His dad had been born in a more poor environment and insisted that she wasn't to be treated differently than those called 'normal kids'. She did go to private school, though one of the cheaper ones that many could get a kid into if they desired. When they came of age, her mother who believed a little too much in justice sent her to Golden Rose with the money she'd secretly been saving to pay the tuition, hoping Kai'd be a help in creating 'a better world' like his mother believed she did through being a lawyer.
