"Okay, students," the professor proclaimed, "Since we are heading toward the end of the semester, your finals are scheduled for two weeks from now."

"Be right back, gonna dig my grave," Jisung whispered.

"And," the professor continued, "Twenty percent of your marks are going to be allotted on an average of your assignments. I hope you all submitted your assignments since the beginning of the session."

"Digging our graves quicker," Seungmin added to Jisung's comment. Ahyoung stifled a snicker.

The professor dismissed the session, and walked out of the room, leaving the students devastated. Chan turned around to look at Jisung and Seungmin, chuckling, "This is why I did all my assignments."

"And that's on today's episode of 'Jisung gets betrayed again'," the quokka sulked.

"I have honestly studied nothing," Ahyoung spoke, "And two weeks?! Oh, my God!"

Chan placed his hand on the top of her knee, rubbing reassuring circles on her skin, "Don't panic, baby. We'll study together."

"Even I am feeling like a third wheel now," Seungmin pursed his lips, "Jisung, I finally understand you."

Jisung nervously laughed, "So if you understand me now, can you ask Hyunjin to date me-"

"You've lost me again."

Ahyoung laughed. Chan simped. That's practically the book summed up.

"Hey," Chan gave an idea, "How about we study together at my flat? Pull an all-nighter?"

"I'm in," Jisung and Seungmin spoke in unison.

Ahyoung strained her eyebrows, "I'll have to ask mom."

"I forgot that she's still a baby," Seungmin teased.

"My baby," Chan hugged her from the side, sticking to her like a koala.

"Ew, feelings," 'Minnie' was already out.

---

"Mom actually agreed!" Ahyoung exclaimed as she sat in Chan's car, and as he drove, he fondly listened to her gushing about how easily she convinced her mother to spend a night at a guy's place.

"And I told her not to worry about me, because I'm a grownup now, right? And she told me that I was still a baby! Seriously?" she asked, flailing her hoodie paws.

Chan chuckled, "Well, you're my baby, so!"

"I'm not a baby!" she furrowed her eyebrows and pouted, "I know how to handle myself well."

"No doubts about that, but," he looked at her, "My tiny little baby is obviously mine to handle, isn't that right?"

"Mm... yeah," she gullibly agreed, and he laughed. That was when she received a call from Seungmin, "Hello, Minnie?"

"Youngie! I'm so sorry, I won't be able to join you guys today!"

"Wait, why? What happened?"

"My grandma came over and she wants me to stay with her tonight. I know this is sudden, but I'm sorry."

"Oh... okay, see ya," Ahyoung hung up, sulking.

"What's wrong?" Chan questioned.

"Seungmin won't be able to make it to the study session," she frowned, "I hope Jisung makes it, at least."

"Yeah, I hope so, too," he didn't.

Truthfully, he just wanted some alone time with Ahyoung and to just cuddle with her, feel her warmth, and be closer to her. Even though the two of them not getting enough time to be together wasn't the case, Chan just wanted to get as much of her as he could.

And when they reached his apartment, walked in, and set their books on the low table, Chan immediately grabbed his warmest comforter for her. He carried it to Ahyoung, who was sitting down on the carpet, her legs under the table, and he grinned when he sat beside her, dropping the comforter over both of their shoulders. She wore her reading glasses again, the big spectacles sitting atop her small nose, and he stifled a squeal.

Under the comforter, Ahyoung cutely snuggled closer to him, her head almost buried in his shoulder, and he felt the warmest. Humming in content, Chan wrapped an arm around her figure, and she placed a book on his lap, opening the page they were supposed to begin with.

"Let's start with the basics of therapy, okay?" she asked, and he let out a little agreement.

"I had made some notes when it was being taught, so I'll reference it with them as well," she spoke in all seriousness, and he nodded.

Ahyoung started reading, and Chan listened attentively, adding to the points wherever he deemed it necessary. It took them an hour to complete the topic, and it was already 10:30 PM by then.

"Why isn't Jisung here?" she spoke, fixing her glasses.

"I'll call him," Chan picked up his phone from the table and dialed Jisung's number. After seven rings, he answered the call, "Heelllloooooo?"

"Don't tell me you got drunk again," Chan sighed in disappointment.

"Nahh... I was sleeping... Why would you call me at 4 AM...?" he heard a yawn.

"It's 10:30- You know what? Goodnight," he hung up.

"What's the matter?" she looked up at him, and he replied, "He fell asleep, baby. I kind of expected that."

"So we're studying alone?" she inquisitively asked.

"You don't like that?"

"No, I do-"

"Because we could be doing a lot more than that."
