Chan, upon seeing Seungmin and Ahyoung approach him from the psychology department, dashed to her to hug her tightly, "Baby!"

She giggled, "Channie, you're so clingy!"

"That's because I love you!~" he spoke with a huge smile. Jisung, who stood behind Chan, sighed in singlehood.

"Actually, guys, I made a new friend," Ahyoung spoke after Chan was done hugging her, and she looked behind Seungmin, where the new member hid.

Chan raised a brow, and Jisung looked in pure curiosity at Seungmin, who turned to bring the spotlight onto the new guy. As he shifted, Jisung's breath hitched in his throat, and his eyes widened; and, for a second, he felt like he was in a blissful dream that he had begun watching in Jeju.

It was Lee Minho right in front of him yet again.

"Han Jisung?" Minho narrowed his eyes, "...from Jeju...?"

"It's you!" Jisung gasped, mouth spreading into a wide smile, "Lee Minho!"

"Wait, you two know each other?" Seungmin questioned, furrowing his eyebrows.

"I... yes," Minho spoke, the slightest grin gracing his lips, "It's him again."

"Hold up, is this the guy you saw in Jeju?" Chan widened his eyes, and Jisung, who was more or less speechless, nodded.

A little round of a knowing 'Ohh!' went through the group, and Minho raised a brow, "What? What am I missing out on?"

"Oh, you know, you're the guy-" Ahyoung couldn't complete when Jisung shushed her inconspicuously, and then changed the topic, "H-How did you all meet here? I don't remember you being a part of this college, Minho...?"

"I'm not," Minho clarified, "I came here to meet the practicing team for diagnosis."

"Diagnosis? Of what?"

"Depression."

Jisung stopped speaking abruptly, mouth shutting at his statement. He did not know what else to say to him, and everyone suddenly fell silent. Minho, who was more or less used to such a reaction, scoffed, "Ah, nice meeting you guys. I don't think I would fit here."

As he began to walk off, Ahyoung called after him, "Minho, wait!"

He turned around, glancing at Jisung, who was glued to his spot. Shaking his head, Minho turned away and walked off, leaving Seungmin saying, "Okay, rude."

Ahyoung frowned deeply, and Chan asked Jisung, "What happened to you?"

"He... is so perfect," Jisung murmured, eyes never leaving the figure of Minho slowly walking away, "But I don't know what to say."

"Jisung," Ahyoung sighed, "You could have told him that. Some depressed clients often feel comfortable when you try to engage them in normal conversations, when you try to cheer them up, or when you try to compliment them. Guys, we all collectively failed Lee Minho."

"Ah, baby love," Chan gently lifted her chin up, making the sulky girl look at him, "We'll get another chance with him. I hope he comes back. Don't worry much about it, yeah?"

"But Channie..."

"He knows Jisung," Chan spoke, "And I hope Lee Minho would appreciate it that you treated him like a friend."

"He is a friend now..."

"Cutie," Chan chuckled, "He is a friend. Better?"

She nodded at him, still feeling rather dicey about it. What could possibly bring Minho back here?

---

His mother.

Minho found himself entering the gates of the institution yet again, his mother on a call with him, and he sighed deeply, "Okay, mom, I'm here. You can hang up now."

Without giving her a chance to hang up, he cut the call from his end, stuffing his hands into his pockets and trying to find the girl from the previous day. Ahyoung was the name, wasn't it?

He aimlessly roamed around, sitting under a tree and basking in the sunlight, when he heard familiar chuckles. He looked around for the source, and found Ahyoung laughing, hand-in-hand with Chan. He could not help but smile slightly at their seemingly-adorable relationship. The two were cute together.

"Hi."

Minho gasped, almost falling off, as he turned around to see Jisung smiling at him.

"You scared the shit out of me."

"Did I? Oh, sorry!" Jisung smiled apologetically, "I can't guarantee that it won't happen again, but I'll try."

"Again?" Minho narrowed his eyes, "What makes you think that we'd meet again?"

"Well, there's a list of reasons."

"Go on."

"First, we're friends, as Ahyoungie said," Jisung folded his arms against his chest, "Second, it's fate that we're meeting again."

"Fate?" Minho repeated.

"Fate indeed. It's astonishing how we met here after meeting in Jeju, isn't it?"

Minho fell silent.

"See? It is!" the quokka-looking boy clapped his hands once, as if to emphasize his point, "Well, you're a part of the gang now-"

"You have a gang?"

"Um," Jisung sheepishly chuckled, "That's what I like to call it... or you can call it a group, too, if you wanna."

"Okay, so a gang," Minho smiled; he could not remember the last time he had smiled so genuinely.

"Yes!" Jisung brightened up, "You're a part of the gang now, so I hope to see you here more often. Will you?"

And Minho finally had a reason to come here again.
